"Vic and Al's is an East Austin Cajun hotspot located off Manor Rd. There is onsite parking in the front and the back of the restaurant, although it can be pretty tight and you may need to end up doing street parking in the neighborhood south of Manor. The food here is great - Cajun flavors at its core, and arguably not as heavy and unhealthy as one would typically expect. I think it captures an Austin palette well in being a little "healthier" and not too heavy on the gut. Ended up trying a whole spread of the menu, and would recommend any of the salads, blackened catfish, gumbo, etouffe, and red rice and beans. The portion sizes are moderate so you also won't be leaving overly stuffed. It's mostly counter service and also gets pretty busy on a weekend or Friday night. Expect it to be pretty packed with a good energy for a first date or group get together."
"Love the ambience one person meal, maybe two makes you feel good in your belly the sandwich inside soup is great I eat here a lot so I really didn't have time to take a picture of the sandwich but it was good. I wish I had TV though"

"This restaurant is boring. It's a chain. I only went because I was at a meeting. Someone else picked it because she likes the MALL, and she paid. We were in a weird back room with two tvs and a long table. The food was boring - mediocre "Italian American." The good news is that my gluten free friend could find enough to eat. The staff was fine. It was clean. If you must go, it's fine. It could be in any town in America. Meh."
"I would like to give feedback on the delivery services. I placed an order for delivery and tried to call the phone number several times shortly after. I called about 5x with no answer. I wanted to ensure that my order included everything I needed such as to-go silverware. Since no one answered, I thought the place may have been closed. There was no change in my order status so I didn't know if it had been received or not. About 30 minutes later after trying to call again, I was going to contact GrubHub to get a refund and then I see that the order status changed to delivered. There was no to-go silverware. Also, the food was kind of cold. Please improve customer service in this area of delivery, as people who order delivery would like and deserve as close to the in-person restaurant experience as possible. And please include to-go silverware in the bags as well."
"One of my absolute fave gems of ATX. Food is incredible and so is the low key backyard atmosphere. I never go and not get the Yucca fries. Breakfast Tacos are delish. Try the Temperizo for a meatless option, super tasty with a kick. They seriously have the best sauces and dips, all house made and fresh. The staff behind the counter is always kind and helpful with recs! I Was too hungry forgot to take pics!"
"Burger and fries, oh my oh my!!!Golden Tiger has some great grub and the Lil' Cub burger is a favorite of mine!Fries are plenty for sharing. Their sauces are worth a dip.A food truck with a great burger, what's not to like?"

This place was awesome! Staff was super good vibes. Food came out really quick and was incredibly flavorful and delicious. My mouth was watering with every bite! Really cool interior design and decorations. Unique place for sure, which is always great to discover. Make sure you come here if you're in ATX.

Great service despite a third party issue: This was an uber eats order that was placed and then clicking around, boom order cancelled what the heck. Uber was no help to the issue. I went in and pickup up the order even being sick. Thumbs up for service to the restaurant for helping out. The food was amazing. The pho was very very flavorful to eat. I must say that the pho order has a good flavor to the mix. The vermicelli could be better as it was a bit overseased.

Food is amazing. I think they still have growing pains because they are very busy. I wouldn't take a large party. Its a tight fit. Be sure to reserve table ahead.

I've been to Austin Rotisserie a bunch and not sure how I overlooked giving them a review. They used to be a food truck on the east side before moving down south and then ending up at Fareground. Their chicken isn't the cheapest, so if you want that go to HEB. But oh my good is their chicken the best. My ex and I used to split a whole chicken and still have leftovers. Owners are super nice as well, hosting a Yelp event back in the day, too.

Great spot for first dates or casual date night. It's off E 7th with plenty of parking and a big patio. The menu is typical bar food with an Asian twist (pull find chili crisp or soy sauce infused into dishes). The double patty smash burger smothered in cheese is delicious and if you're feeling "kinda tropical," you can add a pineapple slice.Wings were a bit too salty while the queso was pretty good. Bartenders aren't the most welcoming but the overall place gives self-service vibes.

I was told Golden Tiger has the best smash burgers in Austin and I must say they were not joking. The burgers are juicy and flavorful. They are located in a food truck at whistlers. You order online so it makes it convenient and while you wait you can grab a delicious cocktail or beer at whistlers. The food came out quick! I ate the entire double it was so delish. We also had an order of queso fries which is a must. The queso has a nice kick of heat!

If you are on the right path, you know life is a journey filled with enchanting places and devine appointments. I found myself in Manor, TX on a Saturday evening. Manor, is a very small town, east of Austin, that you might drive right through main street and miss it.I was hungry, so naturally I hit up Yelp for a recommendation for some good eats. For me, eating good food for the day is more than just a meal, it's a celebration of life! That's when I discovered Lillie Mae's. Yelpers say they had good fried chicken, burgers and soul food. Let me tell you, There is soul food, and then there is food for the soul. Fred, the owner and chef takes care of business!I enjoyed some of the best fried chicken on the planet! But I didn't stop there. Realizing I was in heaven, and my sins forgiven, I ordered up some catfish and shrimp combo to go, since I didn't know how soon I would be back this way. Huge, portions, hand made tarter and sassy wing sauce, And of course some Texas sweet tea. Oh man was it good! Don't get fancy on me, this is a humble place. A big kitchen with a big heart and a few tables to park your seat on. Reminds me of the original Prince's Chicken in Nashville. Hear me now! If you find yourself riding out on 290 and you drive through Manor, hit the brakes, and turn your caboose around right now! You need to stop at Lillie Mae's to feed your soul and get your sins forgiven!Forgive me for the sparse picture. I had already eaten two pieces faster than I could get my camera out.

"Missing soul food and came across this place you wouldn't of seen it passing by unless you were stopped at the stop light. Opened up Yelp and read a lot of the great reviews. Had to come in as soon as you walk in you have history of beautiful family pictures on 3 walls made you feel like your eating at his place.1 (owner) man cooking, taking orders and serving some of the reviews saying he is rude not true he is just REAL he is a very funny guy and humble 4 pc chicken w/fries- absolutely light, seasoned and cooked to perfection it will have you licking your fingers I sure did! Fries seasoned and delicious Cabbage- I can eat this everyday it seemed he roasted the cabbage prior to cooking it had a smoky flavor which was out of this world.. A MUST!!!3 pc catfish with okra and greens- hubby did not share his plate with me it was that good he said it was actually better then he had in Atlanta, GAThe place is small chairs still up on tables. we put our chairs down ourselves which we don't mind friendly customer based. The cooking may take a little longer especially for 1 owner working all sides but let me tell you this place is LEGIT with awesome delicious southern cooking. Absolutely a hidden gem. My only regret is I didn't even ask the owner his name but I will next time and trust me this will be my twice a month eating spot.Thank you for sharing your delicious food and a little of your family story truly amazing"
"Stopped in this establishment when visiting family in Liberty Hill. Super friendly service that makes you feel at home. Great food, good prices and large portions!I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of food available on the menu. They were serving Sunday brunch and I ordered the Avocado Toast Duo. There was much more to the dish than just avocados on toast. One toast was piled with avocado, smoked salmon, spinach, capers, onion and tomatoes. The other toast was topped with avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, and balsamic. Served on a large platter with eggs to order. Amazing and delicious! I wish I lived closer to Liberty Hill!"
"I'm coming to find this place with my family! We were treated to bbq at work and the non-meat choice was from this vendor. Let me tell you, the food was not only delicious but beautiful to look at! Presentation is a big deal for me when it comes to dishes and Community Vegan didn't disappoint. The people I talked to were kind and explained the ingredients in the dishes with pride!"
"The shrimp tacos are the bomb!!! The plantains cooked perfect. Oxtail was falling off the bone! Oh and the Mac & cheese was the creamiest The juices are FREE refills!! Get the trap house juice Almost forgot the pattys!!! Everything is absolutely delicious!"
"Definitely worth the 10 mile trek from I-10. The staff was very friendly and they serve the best fried chicken I've had in quite a long time. It was breaded and fried to order, and delivered to our table hot and juicy. Our bill was under $22 for three dark meat combos (2@2 piece and 1@3 piece) with one side and drink each. Highly recommended for both quality and value."
"I'm shocked, but in a good way. Presentation nice but flavor even better. Highly recommend!!!"
"As passerby's, we enjoyed the prompt service and good food. I ordered the 3 piece dark chicken which I enjoyed. The mash potatoes were good. Kids shared the chicken strip platter and said "they are really good!" I wish we ordered a dozen of the busquits, so yummy. Now, for the funnel cake fries, it's the taste of a funnel cake without the mess! The only thing is the order is small, one order per person. I assume you have to ask for napkins, spoons, and forks because we didn't receive any which made the drive a little difficult."
"Hoover's has gone so far downhill since several years ago. We went recently on a Sunday at lunch which used to be a very busy day. There were only 5-6 tables and just two people at each. And only one rattled waitress. Service was woefully slow. But the real difference came when the food finally arrived. The butter beans were just a bowl of tasteless mush. I guess they had been made several days before and reheated until the basically dissolved. The fried chicken was ok but not great like it used to be. The small pan fried cornbread was so hard on the bottom that we couldn't eat it. Not burned but just plain tough. The candied yams were pretty good. We never saw Hoover himself, so I'm not sure how hands on he is these days. He needs to get back in there and be visible to his customers and whip things back into shape. And change the worn out tablecloths. We won't be back any time soon."
