"Cenote is a really cozy spot to hunker down for a nice brunch and study session. Inside is aesthetic, with green wood paneling around the place, and decor to complement the more vintage vibe. Outside is also quite nice, as there is plenty of shaded outdoor seating, which is also shielded from the street noise (although the area already appears fairly quiet).I ordered the BLAT sandwich ($12), and I was very pleased with it. The bread had a nice crispiness, yet not so much that it was painful to eat, which I have had my fair share of before. The bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato all complemented each other nicely (as do most BLTs), and I was satiated after eating it all. My friend ordered the Avocado Toast and had only glowing things to say about it, claiming that it was the best avocado toast that she has ever had. To top it all off, the service around was very friendly. Once we were done our food, our plates got whisked away without us having to do anything. It is also nice that there is a water self-service station and cups, so you do not have to wait to get more.Would give 5/5 but did personally feel it was on the pricier side. Would recommend and come again though!"

"Radio is always a great time, it has a good mix of great coffee drinks along with alcoholic beverages, food, and great vibes and community. When the weather is nice, you could sit here for hours. Overall, I've always had a great time sipping on some drinks and catching up with people here. Parking can be tough but we usually park down the road and walk. Only downside is that the line to order drinks can take a while when busy. My iced matcha is always pretty flavorful and comes out relatively fast. There is food from other vendors on site if you get hungry."

"Cherrywood is now a new favorite coffee shop of mine when it comes to coffee shops in Austin, along with Thunderbird!I came here with two friends for brunch on a Saturday. Their coffee selection is extremely long, and they offer any syrup you may desire. I ended up getting a strawberry latte, but couldn't detect much strawberry flavor. For my meal, I got the sweet potato hash which came surrounded by onion, garlic, and peppers, all of which was topped by two poached eggs (I chose poached, eggs can be prepared how you like) and hollandaise sauce. Probably the best brunch meal I've hand in a lonnnnng while! They have a large outdoor area and they had a live band too! Parking is also ample and spacious. Highly recommend CC as your next brunch spot!"

"We really enjoyed our dinner here. We were visiting Austin for a few days and our hotel was nearby. We wanted something better than fast food and weren't in the mood for BBQ. This delivered. The fact that you can sit outside and enjoy the weather while eating delicious food by a vibrant corner definitely helped.We sat at the bar and split everything. We got red snapper ceviche, asparagus, the short rib taquitos and the smoked brisket tacos. They were all delicious, but the tacos were the winner. I had their spicy margarita and my bf had a bourbon. Both were well made and yummy.Service was good, they were attentive. 1 star less because when I ordered the ceviche the waiter said 'do you want chips with that', and I said 'Sure' assuming I'd get a few chips to scoop up the seafood with. Instead I got enough corn chips to feed 5 people and was of course charged for a full order. Everything was pretty pricey including the drinks, but we were on vacation and just accepted it."

"I enjoy visiting local coffee shops. I was in search of an afternoon coffee and came across Houndstooth on the Yelp app.Parking can be tricky. A lot of spots are reserved for valet parking for Uchiko. I was able to find a spot up front, however I did not realize it was short term parking (10 minutes). Luckily, I was planning to get my coffee to go. There were a couple of 30 minute parking spots too.The coffee shop isn't huge, but they have some small tables as well as a couch. Many of the patrons were working/studying. They also have a nice covered patio out front.I was hoping they would have some "signature" drinks, but they mostly had standard coffee drinks. The barista was very nice and made suggestions based on my taste preferences. My default beverage is a white mocha, however I didn't see it on the menu so she suggested ordering an Iced Mocha with vanilla syrup. I opted for oat milk. It didn't take long for my drink to be prepared. My drink was very good and the sweetness level was perfect."

"Oh my gosh can you say YUM! This little hole in the wall place was a random pick after going to the urgent care next door and boy am I glad I stopped by. I got the BAT bagel sandwich and my goodness that thing was SO GOOD. I had to pull over in a random parking lot on my way home so I could demolish half the bagel lol. It was so yummy! I got the build your own waffle as well with chocolate chips and it was delish as well! I already want to go back and get more hehe. I would say the price for the waffle was a little high considering the size, but the taste is so good I would buy more. Service was extremely quick and the guys were super nice. Can't wait to go back"

"ChatGBT suggested I try the Iced Turbo at Jo's Coffee. I passed by its original location at South Congress with the "I love you so much" mural but didn't want coffee then. So when I was near downtown, I made sure to stop by for a coffee break. There wasn't much people on a Sunday late afternoon and the cashier was friendly and quick with the orders... it was a bit odd that we had to cap our own drinks, but that's fine. There was a good amount of inside and outside seating and I liked the vibe, very fitting of Austin and laid back with a rustic feel. I enjoyed the iced turbo, described accurately on the board - the espresso gave it a good coffee flavor that's not lost in the chocolate & cream. No comments on anything else on the menu."

I was pleasantly surprised they still had a good selection of donuts.The Salty Donut offers a fun variety of donuts such as horchata, Texas chocolate sheet cake, gingerbread french toast, and more. They also have a coffee bar. I opted for a mix of donut holes as well as a churro dulce de leche donut. I highly recommend getting a mix of the donut holes to try a variety. The churro dulce de leche donut was also fantastic. It had a creamy filling inside that was not overly sweet.The space is warm and inviting. There's ample seating if you prefer to enjoy your donuts and/or coffee inside!"

"Stumbled upon this restaurant as I was looking for lunch options and it did not diaappoint. I've never had Balkan food before and wanted to try something that's authentic and native to the region. Their menu consists of burgers and salads but since I wanted to try something more native to the region, the server provided some recommendations and I decided on the Cevapi. At initial glance, it didn't look too impressive but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. The sauce it came with complemented it really well. I would definitely get it again! As a side note, I did ask about the some of the food I'd had seen photos of here on their Yelp page, however I learned that some of those items unfortunately had been taken off the menu as business had slowed during the Covid years. Maybe they will bring some of those items back in the future *fingers crossed*"

Atmosphere / Vibe -While not very big inside they do have inside seating - both small tables & a few table tops w/ stools that were oddly designed because they had "bike pedals" for your feet that made it difficult to get comfortable on. We did eat our food there and not much of a vibe. Very quiet inside, which made it very easy to hear any conversation happening around you. 2. Food & Drink-We did order a few items - Chicken Pesto Omelette (very flavorful & definitely recommend); egg & cheese croissant (egg was lacking flavor); chocolate croissant (tasty); fruit danish (my favorite..very delicious!); honey almond cookies (tasty and not too sweet). My daughter was given the wrong food order & despite it not being very busy & several employees working, it did take a while to get the correct food order. 3. Staff / Customer Service - Friendly-ish, aloof, & very French-inspired 4. Parking Situation -Have their own parking lot right in front of the building. Final Thoughts - Eh, okay if I'm the area. The matcha was earthy-you could tell it was high quality and it stood out. I had my meet up and decided to come back with a couple extra treats so I went back to order. I sent the menu and the reply was the ET and I got a Hibiscus iced tea to go.Definitely a good place to sit and relax or grab a well made drink to go."
