"This is my favorite Boulangerie in Texas and is owned by the sweetest French couple. I'm so glad they opened this location in Austin since I'm a little reluctant to drive all the way down to San Antonio from Dallas for some French goodies. Everything here is so fresh and the service is kind and fast. Also, love the display of their baked and refrigerated goods. For my family, the ham and butter sandwich and the croissants are favorites. Oh and eclairs when they are available!"

"Quick shoutout to my favorite coffee"shop" in deep south. It's a cute trailer parked out front of Lustre Pearl with some seating and shade. Being connected to the Pearl means you've got room to spread out and let the kids run in the back before it transitions into a bar scene (although I've never been there late)Most importantly the espresso drinks are fantastic and they'll even serve them in a proper ceramic cup despite the small size of the establishment. Can't go wrong with a cappuccino or cortado. And their cherry turnovers are flaky and sweet. The people are friendly too.So if you're tired of the Starbucks on Slaughter trust me, you deserve better, and you'll find it here. 5 stars."

"Heard many great things about Prana, so I decided to come here with a friend. The place was so lovely in person. We ordered an ice peach tea and yogurt drink (not pictured). Although it was midday in the heat, the sprinklers and big shared umbrellas really helped cooled us down. We stayed for quite a bit as it felt very comfortable and relaxing. Kate, the owner then dropped by with scones on the house for us. It tasted delicious! Overall, I really think this place is wonderful for a morning or afternoon drop by with friends. The light pink ambience and the touches to it makes it great for instagram shots, but it also is a chill place to gather with friends and enjoy refreshing, organic drinks. We will be back!"

"This space, close to Breed & Co. in Westlake, is bright and open w seating inside and out. There is counter service, seat yourself, and food is delivered to your table. The long line when we arrived moved pretty quickly. And the kitchen was quick, too, as there was not a long wait for our food. The selection of fresh baked pastries is over the top! We shared a Nutella croissant, which was delicious. My breakfast sandwich--an everything bagel with scrambled eggs and arugula--was made to order and very tasty. My dining partner ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and it must have been the most buttery croissant either of us had ever seen-- absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try some of the other items I saw being delivered to the tables around us. This is a great spot for a cup of coffee and a pastry or a full meal. Welcome to Westlake!!"

Today, a friend recommended this spot for light flare like sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. I stopped in a little after 2pm on a Wednesday, note that they close at 3. It reminds me of small grandma kitchen. Old timey down home vibe. I ordered take-out. Combo with scoop of chicken salad (so yummy), broccoli salad (oh my gosh it's good), fruit (very fresh) and a pecan muffin (I'm in love). Y'all, I'll be eating lunch here so much! Like a lot!"

"My husband and I went out to the Fat Cat Lounge and Cafe today for lunch. Lemme tell y'all everything we had was amazing! We started with the trio dip appetizer (we chose Crack Chicken Dip, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and their Hummus) all were freaking delicious! We had the special Watermelon Gazpacho Soup which was so flavorful and refreshing...we both finished it and wanted to lick the bowl clean it was so good! For our main meal I had the Bacon Jam Blue Cheese Burger with Chef Rob's farm raised beef. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had! My hubby ordered the Chef's Special a Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was so delicious! Probably the best pulled pork sandwich he's ever had! If you haven't tried Fat Cat Lounge and Cafe, you need to do it right now!! We will be adding this restaurant to our favorites and will be making regular visit to try out more of their menu! Just so you know everything on the menu is local farm to table! We didn't have time to get pictures of our food because we were hungry and everything was sooooo good!"

"I used to go here like 5-6 years ago and it was always a nice place to grab a light breakfast/brunch or to splurge on what I think are the best and most authentic beignets in town. I recently moved back and man it looks like they've blown up in terms of popularity. And you know what, good for them. They deserve it. It's a great local spot. I'll come a lot of times just for coffee and beignets, but I'm also a fan of their breakfast sandwich. It can get a little busy during the weekends but I've never had to wait too long. If you're lucky enough to sit at the bar and have Miles help you out, he's the man. Really friendly guy and a great bartender."

"Best Little Mom & Pop Cafe in Central TexasThis place opened up as a second location for the now defunct Hobo Junction Cafe in Liberty Hill who lost their lease. My family eats here multiple times weekly and the staff is always absolutely golden. Most of them have become our friends so a visit to The Junction Cafe for us is almost like family. It doesn't hurt that my Pastor's wife works there too. The owner and kitchen manager met in culinary school and the latter is a transplant from Louisiana so he brings a Creole perspective that is often quite evident in the specials and daily side dishes so the results are Emeril and your Grandma cranking it out bad there. It's so good it makes your tongue want to jump out of your mouth and slap your brains out. I can't say enough good about the place. I think I just talked myself into a Hobo Omelet, Hash Brown's and an English Muffin, crunchy from the griddle for breakfast today. Some others have complained about slow service but I only see this on really busy evenings and delays can occur any place that is packed wall to wall like this place on Friday Nights when they have their Catfish Special with all the sides and Fried Shrimp as an optional add on. Sometimes we can't get into the parking lot on Friday Evenings so we head across the street for some of the best Tex-Mex and the worst service you ever had but that is another restaurant review. Give The Junction Cafe a try. If it's breakfast or lunchtime ask for Jenny or Susan as servers, I love them both and there are none better!"

"Well located cafe right off the trail. I love the Furniture and aesthetic. The food offerings are fairly good too. The egg sandwich was good as was the chocolate raspberry cookie. The problem I have with this place is that I've been here around 8X, as I live close by, and without fail, every single interaction with the baristas has been negative. As many other reviewers have said, they are not friendly (have interacted with 3 different people) and they act like being there and taking your order is a chore and a bother. I really wish they could fix the staff issue, because this place could be really great. Also, I've noticed that even if I select to tip under $1 it still charges me at least $1 in tip and overrides what I entered. If I'm buying a bottle of water, I'm not tipping , so this is concerning to me and seems dishonest."

There are tiny parking lots in the front and back that each hold about two cars, but there is also free street parking in the neighbourhood.I came here with my friend for Sunday brunch, and there was no wait when we were there from 11am till noon. I ordered the Santa Barbara omelette, which came with an English muffin or toast on the side. The food was very ordinary. I like omelettes, and this one was pretty normal. My friend ordered the American scrambled, which came with a side of English muffin or toast, and she chose fruit for her additional included side. The fruit turned out to just be two pieces of watermelon, which she said was good, but we were definitely expecting an assortment of fruit."

"I love the fact that Barton Creek market is close to my home and it is a meat, deli market serving burgers, smoothies, drinks ect. Grocery store with many extras it is off of Barton Creek Blvd. Ok, so I can also tell you it's a wine store carrying many types of wines cabernet, merlots pinot noir lists goes on and with many selections quality wines plus. A small cafe resturant that serves tilapia with veggies chicken pastas roasted chicken rice pork tamales lasagna many item menus. One con is the area at night is sort of vacant but in the daytime it truly comes alive with students from St.Gabriels school and elderly people who live nearby assisted living next door people who live in the area. So if you happen to be close by do drop in believe me you will find almost anything at Barton creek market conscience store very clean store personal is helpful. Cheese burgers are made with ground chuck in boars head cheese fantastic. Pantinis and wraps delicious. In the front of the market is a cafe sitting area so you can enjoy a smoothie, squeezes espresso bar drinks fruit juices and freshly squeezed. Trust me you won't be bored here so enjoy."

Stopped in to grab a coffee, but ended up getting a dirty chai and an impulsive grilled cheese - both were 10/10.Dirty chai was perfectly spiced and foamy, not overly sweet. The branding on the cup was also adorable. The grilled cheese had absolutely no business being that good, it was out of control - I can't remember the last time I ate something that perfect. Flavor and texture explosion.The crust on the bread was crunchy, and the outside of the bread was crisp, but the inside was light and fluffy - a perfect balance.Just enough of that 5 year aged cheddar spilled off the side and got toasty, the raclette was soft and stretchy, and the Gruyère gave it an addictive nuttiness. It was more crispy than soft pillowy of a breakfast sandwich because of the way the croissant was made. This is a cute cafe in downtown Austin in a lobby area of a building. The service was good even though you had to order at th counter and they brought the food to you. Coffee was good. We went here because it was walkable from our hotel. They also had savory and sweet crepes. I would return again when I'm in the area."
