"Nice little steam bun Korean type food that was very delicious. I lived in the neighborhood for a while and have came back a few times. They also have Boba so that's a good thing as well. Everything's fresh and made the order. I've never had a bad meal here so definitely would try it out"
"Student-y Taiwanese on the Drag.Student-y Taiwanese usually means greasy food and marvelous bubble tea.For Coco's Cafe, keep the word marvelous for the bubble tea but swap out "greasy" for "surprisingly good" on the food.I had a first rate tofu and vegetable soup that could arguably be the healthiest bowl of soup on the planet.(I just got an email from my mother asking:"And what about my chicken soup?"A good Jewish chicken soup cures everything Including death.)Revised Review:Coco Cafe's tofu and vegetable soup is one of the TWO healthiest bowls of soup on the planet. It is pretty damm healthy - and the vegetables taste outstanding.(The celery and carrots in a Jewish chicken soup have been boiled into lifeless fiber.)My wife was equally enthusiastic about her vegetarian vermicelli.A cappuccino smoothie with egg pudding made life wonderful. This is not coffee mix powder - which is what you get at some cheapie bubble tea places. This is an honest uncompromising cappuccino - probably made with robusto and roasted to have a major edge. Some coffee lovers don't like fire-blasted coffees.I adore them.I could drink Coco's Cappuccino smoothies all day and all night.* * *Note that the stock of Coco's goes way up if you are on the UT campus and you are walking there. If you are driving in from someplace off campus,Expect to suffer the tortures of the damned trying to find a place to park.* * *Note that the classic downside of student-y Taiwanese places is the fried food. They have fried chicken and various pork dishes here. For all I know those are absolutely wonderful, But I have not tasted them myself. They could be exquisite. They could be the Glory That Was Grease.* * *Go vegetarian and you will eat like royalty. If you decide to go for the fryer,Write your own Yelp review and let me know how things went."
A creamy treat filled with brown sugar boba, topped with cheese milk foam and cocoa powder, and drenched with brown sugar around the cup. This tasty beverage is non-caffeinated but can have tea added to balance the sweetness.

"Affordable and yummy Korean food right by campus. The bibimba was flavorful and fresh. Not a whole lot of toppings though the meat was yummy. I also got one of the k-bop rolls which i thought was great. It'd be an easy four stars except that the dishwasher is by the dining area and splashed water over the partition and it hit several diners (and got on my food) but neither the dishwasher nor the server said anything. That was major ick. Don't sit next to the dish washing area. Popular amongst students for a reason."
"The closest boba to me, with the best strawberry flavor. I'm pretty sure their strawberry flavor has a cult following, because they occasional sell the scent in perfume form around holidays like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. I'd buy it. =D"
"This place got new ownership Oct 2021, so the quality went up a lot! The price went up as well, but it was nice to support our local Tap House. The combo plates were okay. The grilled chicken was better than the pork, since the pork was a bit tough. The noodle dishes were not bad, but were mainly noodle. Service is slow since there was only two people there to cook and take orders. The snacks were solid. Crispy tofu was crispy and really soft, and you get a lot. Veggie dumplings were crispy and delicious, but you only get 6. The fried carrots were surprisingly tasty. The fried chicken and fishballs were good too but didn't stand out.I'd come back for the snacks!"
"I saw that this was a recommended boba shop for getting work done, so I came here to study with a friend. I got the Japanese mango kumquat green tea, which was so tasty and a perfect level of sweetness. It costs $0.95 to add honey boba to an already pricey drink, but the drinks are large and you can tell they are of high quality. The staff were kind and helpful as I chose from their vast drink menu. There is wifi, outlets, and really beautiful decorations. I adore the origami paper crane tree. There is a really cute shoes-off lounge area with sunflower decor. It was at times very quiet and also sometimes very noisy when we came on a Sunday afternoon, but I enjoyed studying here. There is plenty of parking in the Chinatown plaza."
"The restaurant is clean. The staff was friendly. The Bulgogi was perfect. This is my second time enjoying it. The first time I warmed it up and had it at home. I liked it that way better."
"A large two flavor slush is $7.50. Total with regular boba will run you $8.66. It's definitely a splurge of a treat for an every once in a while experience."
"The whole place was a cafe vibe .they have photo backdrops in one corner and vending machines in the other corner. You can place your order on the kiosk and then they make it. I got the green tea iced with 75% sweet and it was very bland and I couldn't even taste sugar at all. My drink was just ok. Rated this place a 4 star for the overall aesthetic, cleanliness, and customer service. My drink was just ok."
"My spouse decided that we would do Hokkaido this evening, and I am glad she did. We got the Jalapeño poppers, the gyoza, the seaweed salad, and the Tonkotsu Shoyu. The poppers are great the great because in addition to the normal cream cheese and jalapeño, there was the faux crab, and and a lovely breading. *So* good! The gyoza is far superior to any gyoza I've had in a buffet: it had just the right amount of browning around the edges. The seaweed salad was tasty and filling. But the star of the show was the Tonkotsu Shoyu. Smooth, tasty broth, delicious pork, and bamboo shoots and the ramen. The bamboo shoots really absorbed the umami of the broth, as did the noodles. And the soft-boiled egg went perfectly with it. Seriously good stuff. Honestly, for Japanese food you can't go wrong with Hokkaido."

It's been really cool to watch this place flourish in the years it's been in Mueller. It is a real contribution to the area, both to its nightlife and its daytime buzz. In the evening, you can pop in for a quick bite if you're on your way to a movie but don't have much time. They have snacks and whole meals. If you're on your way to Alamo, park in the garage and get your parking validated at the Alamo's front desk. That will give you free parking while you eat too!Saturdays and market days, Mueller becomes a mobbed frenzy. The crowds around the whole park are incredible, and getting a full restaurant meal requires a really long wait. But Bao'd Up is a lifesaver on those days. Their ordering and check out procedures are fully automated so you can get in and out. You can get your icy boba tea is a real treat when it's hot outside. And when it's cold, a hot bowl of DanDan is pure comfort. When my kiddo has friends over, they like to walk over and have boba and a snack. It has a major cool factor going for it. We recently saw the surprise closing of nearby Halcyon--surprise because they were packed day and night. Business owners say this is a hard neighborhood to operate in. So everyone should give Bao'd Up some love. We can't lose them too.

We got the spicy beef noodle soup which came with an assortment of vegetables. It was pretty good and helped soothe my sore throat at the time. However, I think it was a bit expensive ($17) but it is very close to campus on guad. We also got a small honeydew smoothie with boba which was $8 (still pretty expensive for a small). You have to order at the front and they give you a number for your table of your choosing. The place is a little small and crowded but that's most places on campus. It's cute with indoor and outdoor seating. You also have to put your own dishes away in the back btw. Overall, it's a little expensive but really convenient for students.

Meh, place is dirty, food kinda sucked. I loved the ordering system though, you just order on a large kiosk and they made it easy.

Feng Cha is a wonderful boba chain serving a variety of items all done well. I've had Feng Cha in Dallas and appreciated the drink while thinking the boba was just okay. Washington just opened the first Feng Cha as well. Overall, I think Feng Cha excels at the drinks themselves and their boba is chewy, but not sweet or flavorful. Sugar and ice levels are adjustable as expected.Classic Green Milk Tea w/ Boba - a classic creamer heavy milk tea, but the green tea was still very present. It was light but the floral flavor surrounded the primary, creamy taste. Super refreshing, especially with the heat. Boba was mid because the flavor was lacking, but the texture is pretty standard.

I usually like to visit a place more than once before leaving a review...but this place blew me away on first visit and cannot see myself leaving anything less than 5 stars!interior design - very welcoming, warm, and with a little sunflower section for lounging I guess? Can't speak to its usefulness but hey, it's a vibe!service - fantastic! The workers were more than happy to answer my questions and help me customize my drink. But on to what really counts - the drinks! There were so many interesting flavors, but I ended up picking the Japanese Mango Kumquat Green Tea with honey boba. The barista told me that it was a great balance of sweet and tang, and she was not wrong! Great refreshing taste with just the right amount of sweetness. And the boba was chewy and deliciously honey flavored. Partner got the Vietnamese Coffee, which was also right on the money. Strong bold coffee flavor, sweetened just right to balance the bitterness. A+. no notes.

Quiet little Korean shopfront in San Marcos. Order first via tablet (think Which 'Wich) and then they bring your food to the table. Everything tasted very fresh!! Hot sauce (upon request). Dishes are all between $11 and $13. A yummy diversion!

Great little hangout place. Love the music, bobas are always on point. Looks like they have some good pastries also. These young ladies are always very nice and cordial. Thank you for keeping it real, simple and un-woke.

"So they have a meal and drink combo going right now for $13!!You get any chicken entree, with fries and a drink of choice. What an amazing deal. I'd be here everyday if I didn't have adult responsibilities. The original chicken is crispy and seasoned to perfection. These fries are delicious and you already know, the drinks are phenomenal. They even have taiyaki on the menu now! Can't wait to come back and eat everything on the menu."
"Service was great and the cashier was very friendly. Got my boba fix. Highly recommend"
"My drink was WONDERFUL, and the service was quick & pleasant! I ordered the Crème Brûlée Coffee- it was slightly bitter as it's a Vietnamese coffee, HOWEVER, the foam on top plus the pudding balanced it all out perfectly. Inside there are plenty of seating options, games for all group sizes, internet for those trying get work done, and a very cute design aesthetic!"
"Id like to be fair while being honest. Ive definitely had better Bobba-Tea before but that doesn't mean this was not good. Just that I've had better tasting, in a larger cup, for the same price, at other places. All the young ladies and young men working at this location are friendly. Will i be back? Yes because there are not any other places nearby and would likely keep trying new drinks to find my favorite. Space is very limited soo don't expect to sit there."
"I'm always on the lookout for spots that offer not just great food and drinks but also an inviting ambiance and stellar service. Love Bubble Tea ticks all these boxes and more!Nestled on East 6th, this bubble tea and ice cream shop is a true gem. Their strawberry matcha boba has quickly become my go-to drink. Each sip is consistently delicious, a perfect blend of sweet strawberries and earthy matcha, with the ideal boba texture. What truly sets Love Bubble Tea apart is the incredible service. The owner is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet, always greeting customers with a smile and making everyone feel welcome. The fact that it's woman-owned and operated adds an extra layer of charm and empowerment to the experience. The ambiance is simply adorable--think Instagram-worthy walls and cute signage. Plus, they offer pup cups for our fur babies, which is such a thoughtful touch. For all the Swifties out there, you'll love the playlist filled with Taylor Swift hits, adding to the already vibrant and happy atmosphere. With street parking available, getting there is a breeze.Love Bubble Tea is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality ingredients, fantastic service, and a charming environment. It's a staple to my week and my favorite treat in Austin!"
"Super cute interior with comfy chairs in waiting area. Pillows on the booths, comfy! Yummy food, fast service. Had the Dan Dan noodles and side salad. Really impressed by the fresh veggies and romaine lettuce cabbage mix - no iceburg here. The Dan Dan noodles are spicy and rich, fried chicken crispy and perfectly cooked. Next time I'll get some baos, but good noodles! Paired with an Austin sunset, really hit the spot for dinner tonight."
"I do not have good bobas near me whatsoever. This Sharetea is about an hour or so drive for me. I would usually order about 2 or 3 at once and bring home the extras to save. I've been to this location over 35 times or more since it has been opened. The workers are nice and sweet here. There is one about to open in Georgetown and I'm hopeful for it BUT Sharetea in RR is the way to go. I wish they have golden retriever again. That is the drink that got me being a loyal fan to Sharetea franchise wherever I go in TX or other states."
"I absolutely love the feel of this place! It feels like old Austin - of people getting together and opening something new in a neighborhood (like boba)! As this place is relatively new, I'd love to give it a second chance. I enjoyed that the cups are heart shaped and that they had some fun flavors (passion fruit!), but the tea flavor was a little weak, and the boba was a little hard. I look forward to trying it again, soon!"
"Y'all. Omg. I am shooketh...!My bestie ordered us some drinky-drinks from this here establishment while we were out #adulting and doing the dang thing (aka errands). She knows I like taro drinks & tiramisu... so I ended up getting a taro breeze w/ tiramisu foam on top and YOU GUYS... The luxurious mouth feel and combo of flavors made my BRAINgasm! My tongue fell in love. My senses relaxed and excited. I literally saved some til after dinner so I could jeep that DIVINE flavor kicking around for as long as humanly possible!Didn't even snap a picture. It wasn't for the public. It was a private, transformative experience & I am only here to remind myself for later when I inevitably forget what it was I ordered the next time I make it up here... which is often an issue for my ND mind. But THIS. was. UNFORGETTABLE (and I will be back).Feng Cha, don't you go changing, now, girl. You're PERFECT!"
"Delicious dirty boba and it was made very quickly. There's an older review that they worked slowly, seems like it's improved big time!I love that the lid has 2 openings, one is for drinking just the liquid and the other one is for sucking the pearl itself. Oh boy, my language! The foamy top is super delicious and I'm able to enjoy it more thoroughly when I didn't drink it with the pearl.Wish this place is closer to me!"
"Eh it's ok. Ambiance looks cool but it's just full of UT students it really takes away from what little ambiance it would have Parking super sucks so be aware on that aspect if driving to this location Now onto the Boba - the brown sugar bubble milk tea was eh. I got it with milk foam and 0 sugar. The boba texture was not appealing and the foam didn't have much to it."
"My husband and I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Feng Cha and it is FINALLY HERE! So great to have a solid bubble tea spot on this side of town. Plus, this one's right by an HEB and several other poppin businesses in a beautiful outdoor retail center. An unbeatable location, if you ask me!Feng Cha Lakeway soft-opened about a week ago and will have their grand opening soon. Tbh, I wouldn't have known the difference because they seem to be rocking it already. Like the other franchise locations, their drinks are well-made and the store is tastefully designed. I enjoy the variety of oolongs they offer here and love that their bobas are perfectly sweet n chewy. We'll be coming back very, very soon! Go show some support and welcome them to the neighborhood!"
"Food was delicious close to home.I'm coming back. I ordered the wontam ramen and my husband got the beef ramen."
"Attended the grand opening and fell in love with the cute aesthetics of the store! The foam cake was nice and soft and the cheese foam that accompanied it was savory which helped balanced the sweetness. I got the hot Oreo cheese foam milk tea and it was what I needed on that rainy day. Would love to visit again and try out the other Breeze options!"
