"The restaurant is clean. The staff was friendly. The Bulgogi was perfect. This is my second time enjoying it. The first time I warmed it up and had it at home. I liked it that way better."
"If you're on the hunt for the most delicious bao buns in town, look no further than Bao'd Up. This place is an absolute gem, and it completely blew me away with its flavor-packed offerings. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the decor is cool. They have touch screens or a cashier to place your order. Now, let's talk about the bao buns. Each one was a masterpiece of soft, pillowy perfection, filled with the most savory, succulent ingredients. The brisket bao was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, I also tried their crispy chicken taco (on an open flat bao) with shredded cabbage & some super good sauce. Not sure the name. It had just the right amount of kick & was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I got a meal that came with Szechuan fries & a delicious milk tea. You have the option to add boba or other flavors. What really sets Bao'd up apart is the attention to detail. The buns were steamed to perfection, the fillings were generously portioned, and the flavors were spot-on. You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients, and the result is a bao experience that's hard to beat. The pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Whether you're a bao enthusiast or trying them for the first time, you won't be disappointed.Do yourself a favor and make a stop at Bao Paradise. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!"
A creamy treat filled with brown sugar boba, topped with cheese milk foam and cocoa powder, and drenched with brown sugar around the cup. This tasty beverage is non-caffeinated but can have tea added to balance the sweetness.

"Driving back to Austin from Waco for an early AM flight, I wasn't starving and wanted something light. I had many questions for the girl who took my order, she was patient, kind and understanding. I only drink tea or water as my normal daily drinks ( no coffee, pop etc), I had never heard of tea with crema. Game changer! Whatever that crema is on the tea is phenomenal for your tastebuds, it's sweet, creamy and a bit salty. I need to email them and ask for a recipe! I also ordered a mango smoothie, I didn't love that flavor as much, but was drinkable and I finished it. They have numerous flavors from fruit to normal/regular tea with black/green tea. If I lived in Austin I would be a regular for sure at this place. Parking is easy, prices fair, staff actually seemed to enjoy their job. They do have seating areas and games like jenga, so you can chill and enjoy time with friends and your drinks."
"So they have a meal and drink combo going right now for $13!!You get any chicken entree, with fries and a drink of choice. What an amazing deal. I'd be here everyday if I didn't have adult responsibilities. The original chicken is crispy and seasoned to perfection. These fries are delicious and you already know, the drinks are phenomenal. They even have taiyaki on the menu now! Can't wait to come back and eat everything on the menu."
"Student-y Taiwanese on the Drag.Student-y Taiwanese usually means greasy food and marvelous bubble tea.For Coco's Cafe, keep the word marvelous for the bubble tea but swap out "greasy" for "surprisingly good" on the food.I had a first rate tofu and vegetable soup that could arguably be the healthiest bowl of soup on the planet.(I just got an email from my mother asking:"And what about my chicken soup?"A good Jewish chicken soup cures everything Including death.)Revised Review:Coco Cafe's tofu and vegetable soup is one of the TWO healthiest bowls of soup on the planet. It is pretty damm healthy - and the vegetables taste outstanding.(The celery and carrots in a Jewish chicken soup have been boiled into lifeless fiber.)My wife was equally enthusiastic about her vegetarian vermicelli.A cappuccino smoothie with egg pudding made life wonderful. This is not coffee mix powder - which is what you get at some cheapie bubble tea places. This is an honest uncompromising cappuccino - probably made with robusto and roasted to have a major edge. Some coffee lovers don't like fire-blasted coffees.I adore them.I could drink Coco's Cappuccino smoothies all day and all night.* * *Note that the stock of Coco's goes way up if you are on the UT campus and you are walking there. If you are driving in from someplace off campus,Expect to suffer the tortures of the damned trying to find a place to park.* * *Note that the classic downside of student-y Taiwanese places is the fried food. They have fried chicken and various pork dishes here. For all I know those are absolutely wonderful, But I have not tasted them myself. They could be exquisite. They could be the Glory That Was Grease.* * *Go vegetarian and you will eat like royalty. If you decide to go for the fryer,Write your own Yelp review and let me know how things went."
"I do not have good bobas near me whatsoever. This Sharetea is about an hour or so drive for me. I would usually order about 2 or 3 at once and bring home the extras to save. I've been to this location over 35 times or more since it has been opened. The workers are nice and sweet here. There is one about to open in Georgetown and I'm hopeful for it BUT Sharetea in RR is the way to go. I wish they have golden retriever again. That is the drink that got me being a loyal fan to Sharetea franchise wherever I go in TX or other states."
"I'm always on the lookout for spots that offer not just great food and drinks but also an inviting ambiance and stellar service. Love Bubble Tea ticks all these boxes and more!Nestled on East 6th, this bubble tea and ice cream shop is a true gem. Their strawberry matcha boba has quickly become my go-to drink. Each sip is consistently delicious, a perfect blend of sweet strawberries and earthy matcha, with the ideal boba texture. What truly sets Love Bubble Tea apart is the incredible service. The owner is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet, always greeting customers with a smile and making everyone feel welcome. The fact that it's woman-owned and operated adds an extra layer of charm and empowerment to the experience. The ambiance is simply adorable--think Instagram-worthy walls and cute signage. Plus, they offer pup cups for our fur babies, which is such a thoughtful touch. For all the Swifties out there, you'll love the playlist filled with Taylor Swift hits, adding to the already vibrant and happy atmosphere. With street parking available, getting there is a breeze.Love Bubble Tea is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality ingredients, fantastic service, and a charming environment. It's a staple to my week and my favorite treat in Austin!"
"My spouse decided that we would do Hokkaido this evening, and I am glad she did. We got the Jalapeño poppers, the gyoza, the seaweed salad, and the Tonkotsu Shoyu. The poppers are great the great because in addition to the normal cream cheese and jalapeño, there was the faux crab, and and a lovely breading. *So* good! The gyoza is far superior to any gyoza I've had in a buffet: it had just the right amount of browning around the edges. The seaweed salad was tasty and filling. But the star of the show was the Tonkotsu Shoyu. Smooth, tasty broth, delicious pork, and bamboo shoots and the ramen. The bamboo shoots really absorbed the umami of the broth, as did the noodles. And the soft-boiled egg went perfectly with it. Seriously good stuff. Honestly, for Japanese food you can't go wrong with Hokkaido."
"Y'all. Omg. I am shooketh...!My bestie ordered us some drinky-drinks from this here establishment while we were out #adulting and doing the dang thing (aka errands). She knows I like taro drinks & tiramisu... so I ended up getting a taro breeze w/ tiramisu foam on top and YOU GUYS... The luxurious mouth feel and combo of flavors made my BRAINgasm! My tongue fell in love. My senses relaxed and excited. I literally saved some til after dinner so I could jeep that DIVINE flavor kicking around for as long as humanly possible!Didn't even snap a picture. It wasn't for the public. It was a private, transformative experience & I am only here to remind myself for later when I inevitably forget what it was I ordered the next time I make it up here... which is often an issue for my ND mind. But THIS. was. UNFORGETTABLE (and I will be back).Feng Cha, don't you go changing, now, girl. You're PERFECT!"
"This place has been on my list for a while, but under my North Austin bookmarks...I didn't realize they had a location in SoCo! Since the SoCo location is much closer to me, I was happy that a friend wanted to meet here for a Friday afternoon get-together.There are plenty of tables and the vibe is all pink and floral---definitely perfect for Valentine's day all year round! There are a TON of drinks and desserts to choose from. The reason I even had this place bookmarked was because of their souflee pancake dessert. So that is what I got---the strawberry soufflé pancakes without ice cream (it does come with an ice cream scoop of you have that voracious sweet tooth!). My pancakes were pretty good - I was expecting the sauce to have a thicker consistency, it was more like melted whipped topping. The pancakes were also more on the chewy side and not that fluffy. Since we were chatting away, I didn't bite into plate until about 10 minutes after they were ready, so it's possible they might taste differently if eaten immediately after they're cooked. My friend got an avocado smoothie and mango sticky rice. She enjoyed her plate but the smoothie was definitely on the larger side! It would be nice if they can offer smaller sizes and not just one big 20+oz cup!The staff was super chill and I'm glad they weren't in a rush to kick us out. We were there for about 3 hours!"
"This Taiwanese street food is one of the small items store with drink and shave ice. This place very typical street food can be found in Taiwanese street vendors. We start with rice meat ball. The rice paste and sauce is delicious. They have house soup that very delicious. We also got the pork chop. This is typical Taiwanese pork chop coat with Pearl type coating. We also got the shaved ice. It comes with grass jelly and more. Love it. Overall is very good experience. Highly recommended."
"I saw that this was a recommended boba shop for getting work done, so I came here to study with a friend. I got the Japanese mango kumquat green tea, which was so tasty and a perfect level of sweetness. It costs $0.95 to add honey boba to an already pricey drink, but the drinks are large and you can tell they are of high quality. The staff were kind and helpful as I chose from their vast drink menu. There is wifi, outlets, and really beautiful decorations. I adore the origami paper crane tree. There is a really cute shoes-off lounge area with sunflower decor. It was at times very quiet and also sometimes very noisy when we came on a Sunday afternoon, but I enjoyed studying here. There is plenty of parking in the Chinatown plaza."

Quiet little Korean shopfront in San Marcos. Order first via tablet (think Which 'Wich) and then they bring your food to the table. Everything tasted very fresh!! Hot sauce (upon request). Dishes are all between $11 and $13. A yummy diversion!

Every time I've been to a Bao'd up I've left happy and here was no exception! This has to be the cutest one I've seen so far however! Everything was so clean and the food was delicious as always! The Szechuan fries were so good as always, they were nice and hot and the sauce was so good. Absolutely worth stopping by again when I'm out here

Tea cup boba truly got me into boba tea especially with their brown sugar milk tea. I no longer live south so it's definitely a place I'd swing by when in the area. They have chairs and couches but I found I can't sit in here for extended periods due to the comfort. Overall I highly recommend people go to check it out.

Hey good people, just snuck out with the ladies from work to grab a nice little refreshing healthy drink. I really did enjoy my avocado something drink. Forgot the actual name of it but there's only one avocado drink on the menu I believe. I added some Boba to my tea along with 25% level of sugar sweetener. That is just the right level for not too sweet and well-balanced, at least for me it was.Let me get into how creamy it was. At first, I was wondering what was taking so long to make the drink, but then I realized there was a lot of time that was taken to do the accurate measurements to get the fresh code smoothie not overbearing flavor of avocado with the creaminess of whatever else they put in the drink. Once you mix it up real good , you will see exactly what I mean. Now I will say that I was a little surprised at the price, but actually, I think the quality of the drink the demonstration of the display of the cup, the ability to like with these nice black straws that they provide, and the flavor was so consistent.Long story short I'll pay for it again. Outside of that folks, I did see I'm the menu. They had some nice eats, but because they looked mostly fried I didn't give it much energy because I got a watch my figure. Cousin, Go get your drink !By the way, if you head towards the back of this location, you'll find the wall full of beautiful babies. (Doggies)

We got the spicy beef noodle soup which came with an assortment of vegetables. It was pretty good and helped soothe my sore throat at the time. However, I think it was a bit expensive ($17) but it is very close to campus on guad. We also got a small honeydew smoothie with boba which was $8 (still pretty expensive for a small). You have to order at the front and they give you a number for your table of your choosing. The place is a little small and crowded but that's most places on campus. It's cute with indoor and outdoor seating. You also have to put your own dishes away in the back btw. Overall, it's a little expensive but really convenient for students.

What a cute place this is! It's light, it's cozy, it's new & modern. I LOVE THEIR WALL DISPLAYS! Definitely a pull-factor. Their boba's are too!Surprisingly so much better than I thought. They have a reward system if you wish to go there regularly. We tried from their top 10. Service was excellent. Helpful and she took the time to explain to us our options. My teenager literally inhaled his passionfruit mango tea with lychee jelly, regular iced and 50% sweetened, and I'm glad I got a sip. Tasted perfectly sweet and tangy! My choice was a QQ family happy milk tea. It has 5 kinds of toppings. Made sure it had a milk substitute in it, as my dairy intolerance can act up pretty bad. And then I learned that all their drinks have dairy free milk, unless it says 'fresh milk' then it's whole milk that they use. Either way, a happy family here, indeed!

-Customizable sweetness level? Check!-Non-dairy milk? Check!-Slushee? Check!-Variety of toppings? Check!Checks all the way down, this place is an easy 5 stars. The cashier we ordered from was so kind and friendly. Very patient explaining all the flavors and options and seemed legit happy to have us as customers.Only downside was the interior of the shop smells strongly of incense. If that's not your thing while you have bubble tea, maybe get it to go.

The food, service, and ambiance of the place is incredible. The food was hot and came out quick (took us less than 15 min in between ordering the food and receiving). Massive amount of parking, would definitely go here again!

"Really wanted to take a pic, but the food didn't last on the table long. Really tasty and great prices! We had a hot sake, 3 rolls (2 specials) and nigiri. Walked out for $66 after tip. Cool order at the table via app, or order at the counter. I've never had sushi with a little pop of lemon zest but lord almighty I'll crave it from now on!"
"This place got new ownership Oct 2021, so the quality went up a lot! The price went up as well, but it was nice to support our local Tap House. The combo plates were okay. The grilled chicken was better than the pork, since the pork was a bit tough. The noodle dishes were not bad, but were mainly noodle. Service is slow since there was only two people there to cook and take orders. The snacks were solid. Crispy tofu was crispy and really soft, and you get a lot. Veggie dumplings were crispy and delicious, but you only get 6. The fried carrots were surprisingly tasty. The fried chicken and fishballs were good too but didn't stand out.I'd come back for the snacks!"
"Delicious dirty boba and it was made very quickly. There's an older review that they worked slowly, seems like it's improved big time!I love that the lid has 2 openings, one is for drinking just the liquid and the other one is for sucking the pearl itself. Oh boy, my language! The foamy top is super delicious and I'm able to enjoy it more thoroughly when I didn't drink it with the pearl.Wish this place is closer to me!"
"Love having a new quality boba spot in SE Austin! Huge menu and really cute inside area with tables and chairs. Have something for everyone but really enjoyed the strawberry milk tea with boba. Staff was really friendly and quick with orders. Will be back to try more"
"The closest boba to me, with the best strawberry flavor. I'm pretty sure their strawberry flavor has a cult following, because they occasional sell the scent in perfume form around holidays like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. I'd buy it. =D"
"The milk tea with boba and house coffee were both delicious. Beignet fries were to die for - tested like a waffle you get from the carnival as a kid.Prices are similar to other boba places, $5-7 per drink. Not cheap but nothing crazy in comparison."
"Had the opportunity to check out Milk + Tea over the weekend for a working session and arrived around 11:30am. It was about thirty minutes into opening and they already had a handful of tables filled so you can tell it's a very popular spot. They have a pretty large menu and they focus on boba tea, build your own menu, fruit based drinks, and coffees. I opted for a brown sugar vietnamese coffee with oat milk and had it with 30% sweetener. Went ahead and added some boba for fun and gave my drink a nice texture. There are so many combinations you can move forward with and you're bound to find the winning combo. The staff working was very informative and knew how each drink would taste based on the sweetner and topping amount. So why the A-ok rating? I have to say that hygiene and cleanliness is very important to me and seeing how it was only thirty minutes into opening, it was unforgiving of the poor standards their bathroom was in. I have to say that gas stations have cleaner bathrooms and it was concerning to see the amount of grime the bathroom had. It wasn't buildup from a day but almost looked liked they hadn't been clean in days.Seeing their cleaning habits and hygiene levels had me concerned about how clean their setup and backstock/kitchen area really is. Was a bit hard to finish my drink and I left it sitting as we finished up our coworking session.I don't think I can consciously come back. It was enough to deter me away moving forward."
"I don't review often but Shinko was disappointing. - the food looked nothing like the photos. - everything is served in to go containers. Hot food and plastic don't mix well. - the food didn't have much substance. - the food was not so good. I can't say it was bad but just boring. - it feels generic. Bummer-"
"I must preface this review saying that since their grand opening there have been quite a few changes. In the beginning I really liked how they allowed you to really customize your drink from the percent sugar and ice level to picking your toppings as well as your tea of choice. I especially liked how they even let you sample the different teas which honestly did taste better. However, now they streamline your options which I guess is helpful if you are more indecisive. Although I prefer more choices, the popular drinks they highlight honestly aren't bad. I just wished they had the taro balls available more consistently as the few times we've visited it's been hit or miss. Oh also the price is a bit higher but I do like a stronger tea presence and their presentation is so nice."
"Besides the normal milk teas, fruit teas and slushees you'd expect from you typical boba joint they have all types of drinks here, from brown sugar crème brûlée drinks, to matcha drinks and custard crème. Today I tried their mango peach slush sharing some fish balls with my wife. My slush had chunks of fruit in it and the fish balls were tasty."
"I absolutely love the feel of this place! It feels like old Austin - of people getting together and opening something new in a neighborhood (like boba)! As this place is relatively new, I'd love to give it a second chance. I enjoyed that the cups are heart shaped and that they had some fun flavors (passion fruit!), but the tea flavor was a little weak, and the boba was a little hard. I look forward to trying it again, soon!"
"My drink was WONDERFUL, and the service was quick & pleasant! I ordered the Crème Brûlée Coffee- it was slightly bitter as it's a Vietnamese coffee, HOWEVER, the foam on top plus the pudding balanced it all out perfectly. Inside there are plenty of seating options, games for all group sizes, internet for those trying get work done, and a very cute design aesthetic!"
"Clean atmosphere and surprisingly good bubble tea The balls are nice and chewy and the tea tastes good. Quiet place to chill and relax, or hang out. Service is great, given that we are in and out with a few minutes."
"I looove Moge, it's probably my fav boba spot in Austin actually! They have so many toppings, and it's one of the only places I've seen a pear oolong, which I hadn't had since I went to the Alley in California. I love their rose black tea, and the four seasons variety as well. I never go for the jelly add ins or more smoothie-like drinks but they have tons of options if you're into that! The staff are always really fast. The only thing I don't love is the parking sitch; the shop is right on the drag so there's paid parallel parking out front but when that's full you either have to go park @Target across the street and buy something, or find paid parking elsewhere. That said if you're just picking up an order and leaving you can throw on your emergency lights and grab and go. They do have plenty of seating inside, though. Decently clean bathrooms too ;)"
"My boys love boba tea and we were near this place! Such a cute ambiance and atmosphere, and the staff was very nice. So many flavors to choose from, and a bit of a wait for our drinks was worth the wait, but super chill hang-out spot if not in a rush."
"My husband and I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Feng Cha and it is FINALLY HERE! So great to have a solid bubble tea spot on this side of town. Plus, this one's right by an HEB and several other poppin businesses in a beautiful outdoor retail center. An unbeatable location, if you ask me!Feng Cha Lakeway soft-opened about a week ago and will have their grand opening soon. Tbh, I wouldn't have known the difference because they seem to be rocking it already. Like the other franchise locations, their drinks are well-made and the store is tastefully designed. I enjoy the variety of oolongs they offer here and love that their bobas are perfectly sweet n chewy. We'll be coming back very, very soon! Go show some support and welcome them to the neighborhood!"
"Drove all the way from Leander, Tx to come check out this amazing place. Honestly loving the vibe and energy from here. My kids loved the Taro milk tea, and I'm a sucker for their mermaid drink (limited time) and their strawberry lychees milk tea, plus their taro milk tea, and their strawberry tea. Definitely worth the drive and now bringing my friends and family over when they come visit. The best part, they have cute events that offer cup sleeves and awesome music to jam out to while you drink all the yummy boba or have some Thai food!"
"Affordable and yummy Korean food right by campus. The bibimba was flavorful and fresh. Not a whole lot of toppings though the meat was yummy. I also got one of the k-bop rolls which i thought was great. It'd be an easy four stars except that the dishwasher is by the dining area and splashed water over the partition and it hit several diners (and got on my food) but neither the dishwasher nor the server said anything. That was major ick. Don't sit next to the dish washing area. Popular amongst students for a reason."
"Great little store, very welcoming and bright. Very very friendly and happy to share their passion with customers. The ice cream Is delicious and there's different flavors to choose from they even have exotic flavors like Margarita, whisky, and tequila. They also offer coffees, boba tea, some pastries, and teas. I highly recommend this spot and even better your supporting ah small business that has staff that's happy to serve and fill out sugar craves."
"Eh it's ok. Ambiance looks cool but it's just full of UT students it really takes away from what little ambiance it would have Parking super sucks so be aware on that aspect if driving to this location Now onto the Boba - the brown sugar bubble milk tea was eh. I got it with milk foam and 0 sugar. The boba texture was not appealing and the foam didn't have much to it."
"The whole place was a cafe vibe .they have photo backdrops in one corner and vending machines in the other corner. You can place your order on the kiosk and then they make it. I got the green tea iced with 75% sweet and it was very bland and I couldn't even taste sugar at all. My drink was just ok. Rated this place a 4 star for the overall aesthetic, cleanliness, and customer service. My drink was just ok."
"Wow! Traditional Boba Tea California Style! SO many choices at reasonable prices in a modest setting: at the best Hays Chinese & Donut site! Local Family owned! Ask for Melissa! I got my drink with strawberries-so COOL! No fuss, no hassle in minimalist setting. Just WOW! Kyle is g r o w i n g ! I feel so COOL!"
"Service was great and the cashier was very friendly. Got my boba fix. Highly recommend"
