"I visited Phoebe's Diner for Sunday brunch before flying out of Austin. It was just a fifteen-minute walk from my hotel. I joined the Yelp Waitlist but when I arrived, I saw that the restaurant was packed with lots of people waiting outside. I was worried I would have to wait a while, but to my surprise, they were able to seat me at the bar right away. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I opted for the migas with side of fruit and side of avocado as well as an iced coffee (Café Du Monde Vietnamese). The migas comes with hatch chile hollandaise, scrambled eggs, onion, tomato, Hatch chiles, crispy masa cake, cotija cheese, and cilantro and served with crispy red potatoes... It was exactly what I was looking for! It was flavorful and very filling. I struggled to finish it, especially with my fruit and avocado which complemented the migas. The Vietnamese iced coffee was sweet and creamy. I don't usually indulge in sweet coffees so it was a little treat!Highly recommend checking out Phoebe's Diner if visiting Austin and also highly recommend joining the Yelp Waitlist ahead of time!"
"Cenote is a really cozy spot to hunker down for a nice brunch and study session. Inside is aesthetic, with green wood paneling around the place, and decor to complement the more vintage vibe. Outside is also quite nice, as there is plenty of shaded outdoor seating, which is also shielded from the street noise (although the area already appears fairly quiet).I ordered the BLAT sandwich ($12), and I was very pleased with it. The bread had a nice crispiness, yet not so much that it was painful to eat, which I have had my fair share of before. The bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato all complemented each other nicely (as do most BLTs), and I was satiated after eating it all. My friend ordered the Avocado Toast and had only glowing things to say about it, claiming that it was the best avocado toast that she has ever had. To top it all off, the service around was very friendly. Once we were done our food, our plates got whisked away without us having to do anything. It is also nice that there is a water self-service station and cups, so you do not have to wait to get more.Would give 5/5 but did personally feel it was on the pricier side. Would recommend and come again though!"

"They brought 4 slices of sourdough to start the meal with butter and we ordered a dozen oysters! Can't remember the names of them but it was by far the best oysters I've ever had and I've had a lot."
"We ordered from DoorDash. Good gracious, the food is exceptional. They opened up a brick-and-mortar bar next to the food truck recently. The tacos are somewhat pricey for street tacos ($6-7ish, but maybe that is inflated by DoorDash) - however, they are large, filling, and pack a robust flavor punch.I tried the shrimp taco and a bite of the migas taco - outstanding. The chicken quesadilla is also well-seasoned and delicious. The staff was incredibly kind (the gentleman in the truck asked me to wait for my order inside their bar, as it was quite cold outside), and the food was ready quite quickly :)"
"Really cool place. Some friends and I needed a place to go for brunch this past Sunday. We used open table to get a reservation because we were unsure if thee would be a wait which by the time we left there definitely was.So the space. Amazing / Stunning/ Great LayoutYou walk in and you are immediately in inside their vibe. The staff all greeted us as we walked in which was very nice. We asked for an outside table. They didn't have a lot of unbrellas out so it got a little warm. Yet we asked our server and he immediately was yes of corse. After that it was perfect. We ordered drinks no app's coffee to start. All were amazing. Coffee had great flavor and the milk sub they had was almond. ( I had asked for oat but no luck)Table had a espresso martini, bloody Mary their (house version), mimosa. All were amazing. Took a bit to get out but like I said the place was getting busy. Now the food.We ordered a few things.from French toast to a burger. Everything was amazing. The star of the show was the potatoes for every plate we had them on. You know how some times you order them as a side and they are mushy or soggy. NOT HEREthey were all amazing. from little cube kind to fry sized all cooked to perfection.I would love to give this place a 5 start but like I said they didn't really have a lot of options for milk alternatives, but that could have been a day thing. We will definitely be going back to check out their sister space URBAN Rooftop."
"Cherrywood is now a new favorite coffee shop of mine when it comes to coffee shops in Austin, along with Thunderbird!I came here with two friends for brunch on a Saturday. Their coffee selection is extremely long, and they offer any syrup you may desire. I ended up getting a strawberry latte, but couldn't detect much strawberry flavor. For my meal, I got the sweet potato hash which came surrounded by onion, garlic, and peppers, all of which was topped by two poached eggs (I chose poached, eggs can be prepared how you like) and hollandaise sauce. Probably the best brunch meal I've hand in a lonnnnng while! They have a large outdoor area and they had a live band too! Parking is also ample and spacious. Highly recommend CC as your next brunch spot!"
"Been here twice in the last three years. Food here is GOOD! What is off and could be better is the service. The wait time has always been long and once seated you won't be greeted by a waiter/waitress. You scan a QR code and order everything from your table so if you have questions or need modifications...GET UP and go ask them up front. You can also order at the front which means you get seated and once you know you have to go back and place your order with the workers up front. While ordering, it also asks you to leave a tip which bothered me so much. Once the food came they dropped it off and that's when I remembered you have to go get your own utensils and water. They also only have plastic "to-go cups" which is a big waste and so bad for the environment. Would I come back? MAYBE. I just don't like not having a server so probably not."
"Biscuits and Groovy has been on my Austin bucket list for years and I finally got the chance to cross it off the list on my most recent trip to Austin. This place is an Austin favorite, so I planned an early arrival to beat the crowds. Parking sucks here. Pay attention to the signs in front of the business as it clearly says, do not park in the alley or the gas station. I found street parking in the neighborhood very easily. The business itself is a cool looking trailer, next to the bike shop with a small patio off to the side. I got there early, so ordering with the cool and friendly staff was a breeze. They give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. The menu is pretty simple. You got freshly made buttermilk biscuits served in a variety of different ways. The common denominator in most of the dishes is white pepper gravy but topped with different toppings. You can also get a regular ole biscuit, topped with butter and jam. You really can't go wrong here. I was undecided like usual so they suggested I go with their best seller, the Gloria Gaynor. It's a large dish and can easily be shared, but I did a pretty good job of knocking most of it out myself. It was three open faced biscuits, topped with their delicious gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, jalapenos, cheese, pepper and chives. This dish not only looked glorious and comforting, but it also tasted absolutely delicious. That gravy was one of the better white gravies that I've had. The biscuits were buttery, light and flaky. Just like I like them. The eggs were done just right, not too runny, not too hard. I will say I felt the proteins were a little light. I would've liked a little more sausage and bacon in every bite. The jalapenos were of the pickled variety and added a little bit of heat. The green onions added a nice bite of freshness to the dish to cut through all the richness of all the other components. I was thoroughly satisfied with this dish. As far as drinks go, the only options is freshly squeezed OJ. I was all about that and really liked it, but a coffee option would have came in clutch too. Luckily there is a coffee shop next door if you really have to get that caffeine fix. I am so glad I finally got to the check this spot out. It definitely did not disappoint and I would gladly come back!"
"Delicious brunch spot with tons of seafood options and unique dishes. I was in town visiting and so glad we came across this restaurant. The food was clean and freshly made, and I thoroughly enjoyed their variety of menu items. As a seafood lover I was pleased to see that they offered shrimps & grits, crawfish and crab items on the menu! We tried the dragon fruit mango French toast, crab cake Benedict and Mardi gras omelette which had shrimp and crawfish. They also had a fun variety of coffee, lattes and "spiked" drinks, as well as mock tails. Highly recommend this spot !"
"Consistently awesome food and service at this cozy little locally owned Italian place. Meatballs, Caesar salad, and beet salad were all amazing."
"Always great food and large portions. Best chicken fried steak in Bastrop. The staff are friendly."
"Oh my gosh can you say YUM! This little hole in the wall place was a random pick after going to the urgent care next door and boy am I glad I stopped by. I got the BAT bagel sandwich and my goodness that thing was SO GOOD. I had to pull over in a random parking lot on my way home so I could demolish half the bagel lol. It was so yummy! I got the build your own waffle as well with chocolate chips and it was delish as well! I already want to go back and get more hehe. I would say the price for the waffle was a little high considering the size, but the taste is so good I would buy more. Service was extremely quick and the guys were super nice. Can't wait to go back"

This was an unexpected delight for my family and I, we had a quick trip to Austin for the weekend and took a walk that lead to Aranza and the team at Phoebe's. The service Aranza gave was warm, welcoming and just comfortable all around. The food, WOW, that was unexpected fun and flavorful to say the least. I don't recall the last time I was so full from breakfast I had to try everyone's and they tried mine. The bevs were a nice touch too. The team reflected Aranza's initial zeal and smile can't wait to go back might have a special trip just to try lunch!

4.5 Stars I stopped by this charming spot on a Monday morning to work for a bit and grab breakfast. The sausage breakfast sandwich ($12) on a bagel ($2) was marvelous - served with a side of chipotle aioli. The microfoam latte was nice, though the espresso has a tart flavor that might not be for everyone. The cute, earthy decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were polite and attentive.Overall, it's a fantastic spot for fresh food and quality coffee. I'll definitely be back!

Clark's is an absolute gem for seafood lovers in Austin, tucked away in the charming Clarksville neighborhood, just minutes from downtown. This spot has mastered the art of East Coast oysters, and their lobster roll? Pure perfection! While it's definitely on the pricier side, their fantastic happy hour makes indulging a little easier on the wallet. Whether you're craving fresh seafood or just looking for a chic, relaxed vibe, Clark's is a must-visit for any foodie in the city!

Probably one of the best taco food trucks in Austin. They have a variety of choices and the portion is relatively big. The beef inside the street taco was very tender and tasted delicious with their verde sauce. I love the birria taco because it has a lot of fresh ingredients such as tomato, onion, avocado, etc. The tacos came out pretty quickly and it wasn't very expensive, worth a try if you are in the area!

I went on a Friday night and was able to get a table right away. They had live music starting at 7 pm, but I had finished my meal by then. My date got the chicken wrap and liked it. I got the seafood enchiladas. They were good, but I likely wouldn't get it again. The only thing really seafood about it was the 2 shrimp served outside the enchiladas. I do recommend this place if you're wanting to have a date night in downtown Round Rock.

Just got a coffee here. $4! AND $2 for a refill!Nice calm atmosphere. But charging that much for a coffee is enough to make me think twice about coming here.

The food was pretty good! I do wish that the berry yogurt wasn't so runny kinda felt like I was eating a smoothie. And the granola was a bit hard to chew. The service was ok because everything is through the phone now so you don't get that one on one interaction with the server & sadly you have to order everything through the phone & serve yourself coffee. The ambiance is nice! Clean place and nice location by the fwy in which you can sit outside & enjoy the city outdoors

I have been wanting to try B&G for the longest time, and due to not making proper brunch reservations anywhere else/not wanting to wait 30 min-1 hour to eat, I ended up coming here with my sis and friend for Saturday's super late breakfast! The parking situation is SO confusing. It says "not to park in the alley" or behind Peddler's bike shop...but then, where? We parked behind Peddler's anyways since we would be eating quickly, and because we really didn't know where else we could go!I got the The Village (Three freshly baked buttermilk biscuits topped with white pepper gravy, sausage, jalapenos, colby jack cheese, black pepper and chives) but made vegetarian. I love how they can make any of their dishes vegetarian or even vegan! I was in love with the biscuits, the gravy not so much. My sister and friend also enjoyed their dishes, but my friend thought the price was too much for just biscuits. For me, it hit the spot and I definitely wanted to curl up and take a nap since all the blood did indeed rush to my stomach and got to work, haha!

"Great casual breakfast place. We didn't have to wait for a table. The food was really good but the pancake flight was too die for. Our waitress Amie was awesome too."
"Is one of my very favorite places to go for dinner or lunch or even breakfast. Quite a lot of variety here they do have senior night and they do have industry night and they have all gourmet burgers 25% off on Wednesdays which is kind of cool actually. Most of the burgers here are absolutely delicious so I'll be posting a new review regarding the burger and French fries that I will be having for now ."
"First time eating here. Was very impressed with the serving size of the fries. Huge burger too!I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in town for Cabela's"
"ChatGBT suggested I try the Iced Turbo at Jo's Coffee. I passed by its original location at South Congress with the "I love you so much" mural but didn't want coffee then. So when I was near downtown, I made sure to stop by for a coffee break. There wasn't much people on a Sunday late afternoon and the cashier was friendly and quick with the orders... it was a bit odd that we had to cap our own drinks, but that's fine. There was a good amount of inside and outside seating and I liked the vibe, very fitting of Austin and laid back with a rustic feel. I enjoyed the iced turbo, described accurately on the board - the espresso gave it a good coffee flavor that's not lost in the chocolate & cream. No comments on anything else on the menu."
"First time here with my partners. Absolutely enjoyed. Amazing blueberry hot cakes as well as the amazing migas, their salsa is to die for."
"Was lucky to find this gem on the way to work after an appointment today!! You enter on the right side and are able to place an order to go or for dine-in. I was trying to decide and notice a Secret menu item posted at the checkout! Obviously I had to try it!! The Breakfast Bun was delicious! Served on a house made bun it had scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon and was topped with Swiss and cheddar cheese! The perfect toast to the softest bun and you can tell they use quality ingredients the way it melted in my mouth each bite! The portion was on the large side so I took the rest for lunch! It would be a great item to share with a friend if yall were not too hungry. They were quite busy but still had smiles on their faces and fast service. I had my food in less than 20 min! I feel like this would be a great place to meet up with friends or even a bookclub as it was lively and full of positive energy.Parking: lots of spaces that are constantly rotating with availability and handicapped parking available."
"Every once in awhile you go to a place hoping it stands up to all the positive reviews. Cruzteca not only met the standard but in many ways was WAAAAY more than what I expected. Everything was so much more than we could have hoped for.. Service from Tony onwards was gracious, friendly and energetic, the cocktails well made and boy oh boy the food. Friends ordered the Ceviche, me the Chips and Salsa.. I want to go back just for the Mexican martini, chips and salsa. It's a tray of perfectly crisp yellow corn chip, a fresh tomato salsa, a salsa arbol and a salsa verde. Note: The Arbol packs some heat. I had one of the best vegetarian enchilada plates I have ever had. The veggies still had a nice texture, the beans and rice were not just support actors but perfect partners to the tangy verde sauce enchiladas. Was torn to write this review as this is a 1st come 1st served kinda place and as the pic shows, every table is taken. They have started tequila dinners, look forward to attending one soon."
"What an incredibly run family business here in Bee Cave! Exactly the type of local business we should all support. I love the breakfast croissant, my wife loves the crushed avocado toast or sweet potato hash bowl. And any tea (Kombucha or other). Our neighbors also rave about their coffees. You can thank me later!"
"My coworker suggested Carve American Grille as a halfway point to meet up and I'm so glad we picked this spot! Making a reservation was simple and easy, and I'd highly recommend it--when we arrived on a Wednesday evening, it was busy, but thanks to our reservation, we were seated immediately. The service was exceptional. Our server was amazing--knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful with menu and drink recommendations. I tried the Orange You My Favorite Mule and the Daiquiri Down Under, and both were absolutely delicious. For starters, we had the gruyere topped popovers and the filet tenderloin toast, which came highly recommended by our server. Both were excellent choices! The Gruyère was so big! Thankfully it's hollow inside. I didn't want to get stuffed from bread. The tenderloin toast comes with five pieces. It's an explosion of flavors; bacon jam and horseradish cream. We also shared the Cheffy Whipped Mashed Potatoes, which were creamy and flavorful. You can definitely share this as the three of us shared it. The capers in the mashed potatoes was an interesting choice. It was good. They know what they are doing when combining flavors and ingredients. For my entrée, I had the Fireworks Chicken. It comes out with a sparkler on it. The chicken was very tender and easy to cut, and the potatoes it came with had a nice spice and kick to them. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The bathrooms were spotless, and I appreciated the separate family bathroom--thoughtful details like that make a difference. Parking was a breeze, which is always a plus!Knowing that Carve is a sister restaurant to Perry's Steakhouse (which is on my list to try), I was really impressed with this first experience. I'll definitely be coming back again for the great service, drinks, and atmosphere."
"- Vibes: cute/cozy brunch (it's a converted house)- Crowd: can get full at brunch, recommend a reservation- Menu: a bit limited choices- Value for price: 3/5 (expensive and nicely presented but small servings)- Service: 4/5 (a bit slow but friendly)- Parking: tiny lot, street parking My friend and I came for a late lunch around 1pm on a Saturday and were able to get an outdoor table right away. The vibes are adorable for a sweet date or family brunch, with several outdoor tables on the house's front lawn and a couple indoor tables (but it's pretty crowded). We tried some teas first. The Turkish delight was a bit disappointing, $6 and was pretty small/tasted like a standard iced tea. Don't recommend. My friend's chocolate crunch was just a chocolatey flavored hot tea, but it was delicious and around $6 as well. I'd recommend that one, you could share for two as it's in a tea pot. The Nutella roll was light, flaky and delicious but a bit pricey for the size.My friend's shrimp and grits was small (5 shrimp) but they were delicious, flavorful gulf shrimp. I had the steak and eggs, small steak but cooked perfectly and the side potatoes were crunchy and amazing. The harissa sauce was splendid. Overall, if you're willing to shell out for a good aesthetic I'd come here, but you may be prepared to leave a bit hungry since the serving sizes are so small :)"
"What's good in the world of Austin tacos? Well let me give you the 411! El Taquito is killing the game IMHO...a family friend and I decided we wanted to check out a few spots and this was the first...I almost said cancel the rest because El Taquito set the bar so high ...we went in to taste JUST tacos...no sides so here's the low lowWhat did we order?Campechana - this one had me from the jump...3 meats! Bistek,Carnitas and AL Pastor sheeeeesh Bistek Los Famosos - Steak...I would call it AsadaCarnitas - Awesome pork! How did it taste?Ummm damn good! I think that's a category. By far the Campechana was my favorite...the flavors were all on point and there's equal amounts of meat...complimented with the right portion of onions and cilantro!...keeping it classic is the way to my heart! The carnitas wooooo.. yessuh! Tasted fresh...they do make them to order...meaning it's not coming out of a warmer in to the tortilla. The Bistek was flavorful...only knock I had was it felt like they didn't cut the meat against the grain...big deal...chew a lil more it's still goodDid I mention the corn tortillas were FRESH MADE! Final pointsEl Taquito sits at the top of my list currently and it's because the food is super authentic ...the price of approximately $3.50 per taco and the amount of protein in the taco makes this a no Brainer! The fact that the corn tortillas are fresh made dammit man that's a winner....sorry no flour tortillas for a pureist! Like tacos...get yourself over to El Taquito..thank me later"
"I knew this place was gonna be good when the coffee tasted good. This is a family run place, which I love. The decor was so fun and unique. The food was outstanding and the service was great even though they were understaffed. You know this place cares and I can't recommend this place enough. I will be back!"
"My boyfriend and I were looking for a simple breakfast, and we decided to stop by S-H Donuts. He had been here for donuts before, but this was my first time. The parking lot was packed (S-H shares a lot with a barber shop, a coffee truck, and 2 food trucks), but we luckily snagged a spot just as someone was leaving. There were a few people ordering inside, which gave us time to look over the displays of food and the menu. My boyfriend ended up getting an apple fritter and a cinnamon roll (he said they were fantastic!) and I got a croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage, and cheese (it was delicious!). The employees taking our order were very nice, and they worked quickly. There is also some booths inside if you want to sit and eat there, although we took everything to go. I look forward to coming back! Hopefully they'll have apple cider donuts in the fall!"
"You guys HAVE to come here oh my god. My wife and I were looking for brunch spots and this place came, what an amazing place. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so nice! Carmen was so nice and attentive to us, but so was everyone else I just didn't get a chance to get their names. This place looks incredible too! They have two separate outside seating, a small patio seating, and then the main inside which all look and feel wonderful. They have all these little plants all over the place that make it feel nice and homey as well. When you sit down, they also have QR codes on the table so you can order whatever you want, whenever you feel like, and it comes so quickly! But the food is the biggest reason to come here. I ordered the Pork Tamle with mole and WOW. The tamle was cooked perfect, it reminds me of the ones I would eat growing up, warm and tasty. Plus the mole was fantastic! The flavors blended together so well My wife had ordered the Moms Migas & Queso, this had to be the best thing on the menu. The cheese was melted perfectly, the eggs were so soft and fluffy, they even had small pieces of tortilla in it that I thought would make it taste funny but quite the opposite, it tasted perfect! It came with potatoes as well that were cooked perfect, nice and warm that complimented the eggs well. This place is a MUST for food or drink. You guys are missing out by not coming here, perfect Mexican food, perfect service. It's amazing"
"A great visit once again to an unusual place that I have been going to for years. This is not a typical taco joint, but a fusion place that is small and laid back. Lord knows how many photos I have taken, but I have tried a lot of the items. My favorite thing is the Dragon, and it has kimchi essence (not a pile) but it can be quite strong. The green sauce is to die for. I suggest eating it with a knife and fork. The "Bad" taco is pretty traditional and quite good. They have bowls, items that can be enlarged into rice bowls and other oddities at decent prices. If you get a pork belly item and you want it cooked crisper, they can do that, and crispy changes the flavor a bit. Lunch rush can be hectic as they get large group orders to be picked up. I like about 1:00 pm, have a Dragon or Bad, then later a lite dinner. Summing up, you either love it or hate it. If you expect the kind of food you would get at a taco truck, this is completely different."
"Needed a good breakfast spot and drove by this place. Overall good food and good atmosphere. Service was fairly quick. Only negative were the eggs were slightly bland...nothing that some Tabasco and pepper couldn't fix."
"My inner LA girl was screaming with delight.Gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, super clean menu? Smoothies and coffee drinks made with matcha and adaptogens? A beautiful, bohemian interior? Count me IN!I was surprised at the high quality of the salmon in the Salmon Tartare ($15). The Revival Smoothie ($13) and the Vanilla Maca ($8) were earthy and delicious.Staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and polite. Loved this place all around."
"Our Go-To Place for Mexican Food-- Not Tex-Mex. Friendly people. Go for breakfast and get "the Tower"- Its really good!"
"A Five-Star Serenade for Robert at Corrine - Where Service Sings and the Wagyu WinsSome meals are just meals. Others? A symphony. And at Corrine in the Austin Marriott Downtown, our evening was nothing short of a well-orchestrated masterpiece, conducted by none other than our server, Robert. From the moment we sat down, Robert was grace in motion--responsive without hovering, knowledgeable without pretension, and ever the maestro of making us feel right at home. We threw him a curveball with drink requests that weren't even on the menu, and did he flinch? Not a chance. With a knowing nod and a seamless relay to the bartender, our drinks arrived as if conjured by magic. Now that's service with a capital S.Then came the food. Oh, the food. The Brush Creek Wagyu Burger--a decadent stack of gruyere-laced, sauce-drizzled, perfectly cooked bliss--paired with shoestring fries so crisp, so golden, so utterly addictive that stopping was simply not an option. One bite in, and it was game over--forks down, taste buds up.Great meals leave an impression. Great service makes you want to come back. And Robert? He's the kind of server who elevates an evening from delicious to downright delightful. If you find yourself at Corrine, do yourself a favor--sit back, savor, and if you're lucky enough to be in Robert's section, trust that you're in the hands of a true hospitality virtuoso.Five stars, zero crumbs left behind, and a vow to return."
"Best Al pastor tacos I've ever had. Service is great and fast. Try the lime water it's delicious!"
"Mouton's is one of my favorites!! Great food from their scratch kitchen made to order. Ask and they can probably do it. Friendly staff and great daily specials. Lunch menu is amazing. 10/10"
"Time and time again does The Omelettry deliver! I'm not sure why but I was craving a big bowl of wholesome oatmeal and this oatmeal was everything I needed. Perfect parts of buttery and sweet with hints of cinnamon. I ended up sitting at the bar because I was alone and the service was immediate. Shout out to Shiloh and Epiphany for their wonderful service and hospitality. I am always looking forward to my next visit :D"
"I have come to Los Chilakillers a couple of times for lunch now since I work near by. It's always packed (~10-20 min wait) and for a good reason. They have the best chilaquiles I have ever had and I order the Longhorn every time but change up my toppings. I usually get level 3 for spice level and it's the perfect amount of kick without having to constantly reach for water. The portion sizes are so generous that each order of chilaquiles becomes 3 solid meals for me. Despite the short wait, the service here is always excellent. Everyone is super friendly but sometimes the kitchen can be a little slow during peak hours. The music is lively and I love the colorful decor they have up. Since they are located in a strip mall parking is plenty and easy to find."
