"Stopped in for lunch with a coworker today. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. There was plenty of patio seating outside, but we opted to sit inside since it was a little bit chilly. Scanned the QR code for the menu. I ultimately decided on the Shrimp Po Boy and a bowl of gumbo (chicken and sausage, I believe). Both were excellent. They did not skimp on the shrimp. I was on the fence ordering gumbo, but I'm glad I did. The restaurant was nice and cozy inside. The side dining room we were sat in probably had six tables. The main dining room had a bar with quite a few frozen machines behind it. The selection looked enticing. I'll have to stop by one day when I'm not working and partake."
"Nice find on the other (east) side of I-35 in Kyle. We found it looking for a place that participates in Marriott Bonvoy's Eat Around Town. CAULIFLOWER crust was not shown as an option. I asked. It was delicious. Very thin and crispy crust. I ordered veggie. My husband had a calzone. No wonder they have dozens of 5 star reviews."

Quickie Pickie is a local gem!My husband & I had a long wait for Paper Boy -- the entire front patio was full of people waiting, so we decided to go elsewhere to wait. To our delight, we stumbled upon Quickie Pickie across the street and I'm SO happy we did!We got some bottled water and electrolytes to quench our thirst & stay hydrated in the Austin summer heat.Then, we decided to try an avocado taco as a tie me over! One word: WOW. The taco was fresh, jam-packed and absolutely deliciousssss! It was so good, I thought about changing our plans and said, "We might as well do brunch here!"We decided to get another taco and tried the potato, egg, cheese taco and added pico de gallo! Another yummy choice that was filled with all kinds of taco goodness. I have never seen a taco this filled before -- it should be the standard of all tacos in Austin!The salsa is fresh, authentic, and they also have another unique choice that is on the sweeter side. Also, we had the raspberry matcha and it was fantastic!To top it all off, the customer service was excellent! They ladies were so sweet and kind. And there are options to sit inside in the a/c or outside in a covered area that has some fans!Quickie Pickie seems unassuming, yet will give you an amazing mom & pop type of local experience and fresh, flavorful food + you can get your convenience store needs -- all in one stop! I'm excited to try more of their tacos, we'll definitely be back!!

C'mon folks - if that's not a picture perfect, absolutely delicious gold standard of a Reuben, I'm not sure what is. NYC eat your heart out - just don't touch my Reuben. It's perfect. Magnificent culinary experience.

The beer was good, but not much of a selection if you like things dark. We sat in this odd side room full of lava lamps, several which appeared to be staring at us. They had a large TV with an FC game on, but there's just not a whole lot of atmosphere inside compared to other places in Austin.

Went to Lil Easy to take myself out and had fabulous food and amazing drinks! Stormy made my day with her fun spirited self making me feel right at home! I will definitely go back to enjoy more food, cocktails and the fun environment!

Came in when they first opened and loved it. Pricey but the quality showed why. 2 years later and the quality of food is still top notch. I do believe if you are looking for the better quality dough and toppings, this is the place to get your pie from. My street cred includes working in the kitchen at 3 separate artisan style pizzerias and about 20 years of eating better pizza. #fatass

Love their drip coffee, add in some cream and sugar on your own making it a perfect cup of coffee. The beyond sausage sandwich is also quite tasty. That's my go to order, large drip coffee with croissantService can be hit or miss, with the morning music different every time I've gone in. Haven't gone in the evenings, so can only speak to breakfast items. Patio seating is great to have coffee and enjoy the weather and people watching.

We got the tasting menu curated by our server / chef & they were kind enough to incorporate a ton of vegetarian options for my bf who doesn't eat fish or meat. We both really loved all the items that were served to us, the depth in flavor was awesome. I'd definitely recommend trying the tasting menu. It costed about $140 which was enough for 2 people. The place was packed on the Friday night and the ambiance is very date like, dimly lit. I loved it."
