"Radio is always a great time, it has a good mix of great coffee drinks along with alcoholic beverages, food, and great vibes and community. When the weather is nice, you could sit here for hours. Overall, I've always had a great time sipping on some drinks and catching up with people here. Parking can be tough but we usually park down the road and walk. Only downside is that the line to order drinks can take a while when busy. My iced matcha is always pretty flavorful and comes out relatively fast. There is food from other vendors on site if you get hungry."
"My mai tai came out in a Chinese take out container. Very cute and tasty. Had the brisket wantons for app and they were very cream cheesy and not so much brisket but they were good. My aloha burger with the grilled pineapple was very good. I got the truffle sauce on the side and ditched that in favor of they had 2 other homemade dips... spicy something and a ranch.. Oli would ask for those. The sweet potato waffle fries were a little too skinny so seemed a little well done. Good taste though."

"Cherrywood is now a new favorite coffee shop of mine when it comes to coffee shops in Austin, along with Thunderbird!I came here with two friends for brunch on a Saturday. Their coffee selection is extremely long, and they offer any syrup you may desire. I ended up getting a strawberry latte, but couldn't detect much strawberry flavor. For my meal, I got the sweet potato hash which came surrounded by onion, garlic, and peppers, all of which was topped by two poached eggs (I chose poached, eggs can be prepared how you like) and hollandaise sauce. Probably the best brunch meal I've hand in a lonnnnng while! They have a large outdoor area and they had a live band too! Parking is also ample and spacious. Highly recommend CC as your next brunch spot!"
"Very nice atmosphere and service. We ordered a Hazy IPA that was excellent! We also ordered a large Meat Almighty pizza. Presentation was good just the right amount of meat and cheese. Could've used a little more sauce, but my opinion a very good pizza! Definitely going to come back!"
"This is the place for some delicious tacos! Props to James - our server - who made some awesome recommendations including a spicy margarita. So good!Casual environment. Bar seating - indoor seating - and patio options. Cute neighborhood vibe. I can't wait to go back."
"Food: crab rangoons were nice and hot but something about the wonton wrapper didn't taste fresh. The filling was good. The spicy chicken was great, good seasoning, and I love that it didn't have any bones so it was very easy to eat. Salt and pepper shrimp was big in size but lacking a little bit of salt. Mapo tofu could be spicier but the flavor was good. I will definitely be coming back, our waiter was also very attentive and kind."
"If you're looking for some great tasting BBQ, you'll nave to look no farther than this Slab BBQ location in Austin.Tip: You won't find any "lean" or "low-fat" meat here, but what you will find is completely Legit! The sandwiches they serve here are the real deal. I've tried the Classic O.G., the Notorious P.I.G., and several others, but my current favorite is the McDowell. My only complaint about the food here is the sides. The mac and cheese is pretty good, but all the others I've tried are just AOK. That said, whenever I'm in Austin and craving good BBQ, I'll make of point of coming back here :-)"
"This place is so incredible. Everything I've had here is out of this world. Y'all gotta check this place out. Pizza Wings Pizza RollsDrafts"

Good flavorful coffee that goes well with the food nearby. They have some seats inside and the staff are very friendly.

Food was delicious. The fried cauliflower was BOMB. The salmon dish was so flavorful. Blood orange margarita was so nice. Definitely try it. (Be careful with parking across the street. It's expensive and they WILL send you a ticket if you are there too long.

Just got a coffee here. $4! AND $2 for a refill!Nice calm atmosphere. But charging that much for a coffee is enough to make me think twice about coming here.

Aviator pizza doesn't stand out all that much from the outside, and for some reason every time I've gone with my hubby, the restaurant was always very empty. That said, inside is where the good stuff is...Their pizza dough is really good. Listen, I don't even care for pizza dough that much! I'm a woman who believes that the crust's only purpose is so serve as a carrier for more amazing things! But their dough is good. The toppings are also very generous, more so than 90% of other pizzas I've had in my life. They don't cheap out with the fancy cheese, they lay it thick! And for that, Aviator has earned my respect. It's very good pizza.I will be back Aviator! I hope you stay in business!

Took a friend for her first time and we enjoyed our experience! The queso and chips were great as always and so were our tacos. The staff were also super friendly.

Recommended by my Chinese friends, China Family Restaurant in Highland exceeded expectations. Specializing in Szechuan cuisine, this restaurant offers a range of bold and traditional flavors that set it apart. While the interior could use some updates, this often signals a focus on delivering better food, and that was certainly the case here.Tips:Ask the server for recommendations; they know the menu well.Order family style, with no more than one dish per person to share among the table. The Experience: The staff was excellent and attentive throughout our visit. Despite encountering a hair in one of our dishes, the issue was handled promptly and professionally, which left a positive impression. The Food:Double Cooked Pork Belly (四川回锅肉): A standout dish with spice and heat that were perfectly balanced. The flavor was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone dining here.Vegetable Delight (素菜什锦): A good mix of vegetables, though my wife thought it leaned too heavily on broccoli. Still, it was well-prepared and a solid option for those looking for a lighter dish.Final Thoughts: China Family Restaurant offers authentic, flavorful Szechuan dishes that are far better than most people might expect at first glance. While many may be tempted to stick with typical American-Chinese options, I highly recommend exploring the more traditional Chinese dishes on their menu. Even their Mapo Tofu, which we didn't have on this visit, is well-regarded and worth trying. While the interior could use a refresh, the excellent food and attentive service make this a spot worth visiting. If you're in the area and craving Chinese cuisine, this is a great choice.

I discovered SLAB while watching Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on the Food Network. If you follow my reviews, you know I like to hit up some of the restaurants featured on the show. On a recent trip to Austin, we decided to grab some lunch here. This isn't the location on the show, but one of the three locations they have now. We were confused as the address brought us to a bowling alley. We noticed a trailer outside that said SLAB on it but I almost kept driving to another location because it was too hot to eat outside. Driving up, a sign said that a full kitchen was inside. Phew, crisis averted! The bowling did not smell like a typical bowling alley as the wonderful aromas or BBQ filled the air. Sometimes the best food is located in places like this. Customer service was great. Your order at a window and seat yourself anywhere in the bowling alley. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready. I typically order what I see on the show, but I wanted to really test out a variety of their meats. SLAB stands for slow, low and banging, so I was expecting the most tender meats. Their menu is fun with unique, fun names for their creations. They don't do your typical meat plates here. Their thing is BBQ sandwiches and wraps. The only meat they sell a la carte are ribs They do have a few other items available such as nachos, bowls and wings when available. I do believe they sell their meat in bulk to go as well. I went with the SLAB Slammer Trio which came with slider versions of their best sellers. It included the Notorious P.I.G. (pulled pork), TX O.G. (brisket), and Chicken W.A. (shredded chicken). I asked if they could substitute the chicken for a sausage slider and they happily obliged. We also got an order of their smoked gouda mac and cheese and some chips. The food came out quick as expected. I tried the meats first before eating it as a sandwich. Individually, I really liked all the meats especially the brisket. I would've liked it to be a little warmer though. They were very tender, with just the right amount of smoke. As a sandwich, it was overall just ok. If you are a sandwich selling business, you gotta use the best bread. The little slider buns could've maybe used a little toasting or something as they were a little hard and cold. I ended up ditching the top bun and going at them as open faced sandwiched. The mac was outstanding. I don't know if I was just hungry, but I made the comment it was one of the best I had. I washed it all down with some delicious lemonade. I also tried a bite of the ribs from the McDowell sandwich was a take on the McRib. Those ribs were really good.Overall, it was a good lunch. BBQ is definitely a huge business in and around Austin so I have high expectations when having it in the area. The meats were good but I don't think I will go out of my way to come back before trying other places first.

Best pizza I've had so far in Pflugerville. Customers service is great. The beer options are superb. The growler option is awesome.

"Nice little brew, coffee, cocktail pub. Probably the only of its kind. A choice of wonderful locally brewed beers, nice Czech style beers and we know Czech beers.Nice casual atmosphere."
"Taco Wednesday was a great deal and the service was great! It is nice to hang outside when the weather is nice."
"1st time checking out Aviator Pizza & Drafthouse on Saturday, 09/09/2023 & I really enjoyed myself. The pizzas were sooooooo delicious & made fresh. They even have dessert pizzas..yes, folks..dessert pizzas!! (See the delicious pics included in this review). I definitely would recommend this location because not only do they offer great food, the service was 5+ stars, there's plenty of seating both indoors and outside, it's great for adults w/ it being a drafthouse w/ so many beers, ciders, ect on tap to choose from & tvs to watch sports, and great for kids w/ the outdoor playground. Till next time. Rebecca"
"Stopped in for a midafternoon iced coffee and was welcomed with quick service and a delicious drink!"
"Taste & quality: 10/10 - fresh and delicious! Price: 7/10 we asked for gluten free and extra veggies and the price spiked a lot. Wasn't expecting that for just one pizzaAmbiance: 10/10 no complaints, good spot for families. Only feedback is that we asked for plates and they gave us paper plates when dining in. Thought that was odd! Pretty big restaurant to not have normal platesWould I try this again: yes, I'll come back maybe once more and then make my final verdict!"
"Have been wanting to try this for awhile and overall, pretty jazzed about the food! We got the 1/2 and 1/2 large thin crust with Tandoori Chicken and Palak Paneer. Both very flavorful and the green chillis gave it a nice kick. And for a thin crust, not traditionally thin but certainly less dough and crust, nice balance. We also got the Desi Garlic Sticks and my wife did not see they had green chillis as well, haha, so pretty spicy. Will get those again without the chillis. Also got the curry wings, very tasty but covered them in cilantro which was weird, took most of that off.Overall, great experience and will try again for sure!"
"Love the options and flavors here! Staff are friendly and helpful. They even have a separate plant based menu. However, the plant based menu does not mean "vegan"The biscuit has buttermilk in it. Not sure what else, that's the only one I asked about. I wish they would make the plant based menu 100% plant based and vegan friendly. Hopefully one day in the future!"
"What can I say? Hands down the absolute BEST gnocchi I have ever had in 50 years on this planet. Light, fluffy, flavorful. Unbelievable. Would you expect such a high caliber entree from a location tucked into a strip mall alongside 290? No of course not, BUT within 5 minutes of exchanging small talk with the very welcoming female owner, I learned that the place has a serious LEGIT provenance as the family had a well-established restaurant in NYC for years. You can tell. From the first bite of gnocchi I knew she was absolutely telling me the truth. Where this place excels - cozy up to the bar and enjoy a glass of wine with the best Italian food in Hill Country - maybe even all of Austin. It has that cozy family feel at the bar. Dining room looked little sterile and loud, but the service appears on point. They are clearly doing the best they can with the space. The bar section and takeout is where I'll no doubt be regular. I think the prices show value for portion size and given that everything is homemade with top notch ingredients. This is quality Italian. NOT Olive Garden darlin. Bravo to the owners and staff. This place is a welcome addition to Dripping Springs / Hill Country."
"My friend and I shared the Pepperoni and Basil pizza. It was good. We both like it enough, I would come back if I am in the area, but would not go out of my way to come here. I like Pinthouse Pizza's Pepperoni and Basil pizza more than the one here. They have Mexican Cola in a bottle made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup."
"The flavor is good. I enjoyed the white creamy part over the cheese of the pepperoni pizza. Garlic bread was good and our server was delightful. Location is good and patio options (shaded) available. Parking- if busy- can be tight but street parking available. We celebrated a coworker's birthday on a Friday and didn't realize they charge a $3 per person fee for bringing dessert from the outside. That was a little inconvenient since we had everything but the candle and a knife. Understand that it is a business decision and overall the service was good. Nice little bar area right in the middle to the space with good lighting. Yummy ranch (might be homemade) and cheese sticks were delish."
"Had the Fried Shrimp and the Fried Catfish. The shrimp were really fresh, very large, and had a great flavor to them. The same for the catfish fillets, large and flavorful. I really enjoyed the parsley seasoning stuff that they put on the fries and on top of the shrimp before they were brought out, and fresh lemon juice definitely brought it all together. The music was a little loud for the size of the space, but I mean that's not that big of an issue. We will definitely be back, and she's excited to have another place near her work to eat at for when she does Lent."
"Baked beans yes - Cole slaw passThe bbq sandwiches were DELICIOUS and the south location is cozy and easy to get in and out quickly with a great meal"
