Overall, I've always had a great time sipping on some drinks and catching up with people here. Parking can be tough but we usually park down the road and walk. Only downside is that the line to order drinks can take a while when busy. My iced matcha is always pretty flavorful and comes out relatively fast. There is food from other vendors on site if you get hungry."

No more running up too ATX, San Marcos, or SA to try great, local, craft beer.By local, they really mean it. They are trying to get brews that are local to the Buda area. And while they may carry a tap or two from breweries in Austin/SA, they really want to spotlight breweries that are not Austin or SA based, really defining "drink local." We went during their soft opening and they had a steady, if not busy stream of customers, which all managed to get served timely and had their questions answered (some customers were new to the craft beer scene). Really look forward to coming back here and setting their additions (outdoor seating). No food as of yet but you can bring your own or call it in (pro tip: there's a Papa John's next door and a Thai restaurant a block away)Looking forward to many more pints at this new hang out spot in the 78610."

"This unassuming new spot shares a casual space with Brazas tacos but has a totally different and surprisingly elevated menu. We stopped in on the way home from dinner and couldn't help but order the beet hummus to try. It was delicious, beet-forward and beautiful! We also ordered a horchata to share for a sweet finish. The owner was so kind and let us sample a smoked salmon spread (which was my husband's favorite) and iced horchata espresso (must get!).We will be back to try the sandwiches, charcuterie, and hopefully some wine in a couple weeks! It's so nice to see a family owned and operated new eatery in the neighborhood"

"We love it! The drinks change up regularly and are pretty great, a range of every man's easy drinking cocktails and delicious more craft cocktails. There was one a few months ago that had a little oil spritz on top that was my must have for its entire time on the menu. The coffee is fab. I do miss the sweater weather latte from last year, but the house made syrups and the coffee itself are really great so I can't complain. It's easy going during the day, it's more festive at night, but we love it for both vibes. The markets they host are also really lovely, great food items and pastries, etc. Solid food truck rotation, although I am missing the lamb barbacoa mini tacos now that pueblo viejo is gone and mil amores has taken over as the taco staple."

The outside has lots of tables, Astro Turf area, big screen TV. Best place in Bee Cave to watch games! Our server was great! She was super nice and worked so hard today! All the servers were so busy and did a great job! We ordered a couple drinks and had boneless buffalo wings with fries. They were excellent! The chicken was cooked perfectly. I'd order them again! The food from Gummie's barbecue was great and I didn't even need the barbecue sauce. Attentive service and a variety of beers/ciders to choose from.I was running an errand in Dripping Springs and looking for something to break the trip up to get back home. Luckily for us, we wrapped up right as this place opened up but there were already 2 families there meeting up and children taking advantage of the connected playground. There was plenty of parking and there's an overflow lot on the right. Since the temperature had been above 100 for the past few weeks, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to enjoy a covered outdoor area once again. As you pass the playground and approach the main bar area the first sign that caught my eye was the "Buy a vet a beer" sign, some really nice looking merchandise, and a very welcoming bar and staff.Food-wise, I headed to the Gummie's barbecue truck and ordered the brisket grilled cheese and the Kings sliders from the kids' menu. Both were amazing! The brisket in the grilled cheese and the pulled pork in King's Hawaiian buns didn't even need any sauce to be delicious!I won't go into the beers since everyone has their own taste but there was a wide selection and the bar staff was willing to let us sample before we made a choice.Going back to the "Buy a vet a beer", my girlfriend walked up and ordered and asked if she could buy a vet a beer, me :-) with neither of us knowing how it worked. We were immediately told that my first one was covered and graciously denied my attempts to buy two more for the next ones because they just wanted me to enjoy my time! It's a great concept and was icing on the cake of an already great visit.I'll definitely be going back if I'm in the area!"

"What can I say? Hands down the absolute BEST gnocchi I have ever had in 50 years on this planet. Light, fluffy, flavorful. Unbelievable. Would you expect such a high caliber entree from a location tucked into a strip mall alongside 290? No of course not, BUT within 5 minutes of exchanging small talk with the very welcoming female owner, I learned that the place has a serious LEGIT provenance as the family had a well-established restaurant in NYC for years. You can tell. From the first bite of gnocchi I knew she was absolutely telling me the truth. Where this place excels - cozy up to the bar and enjoy a glass of wine with the best Italian food in Hill Country - maybe even all of Austin. It has that cozy family feel at the bar. Dining room looked little sterile and loud, but the service appears on point. They are clearly doing the best they can with the space. The bar section and takeout is where I'll no doubt be regular. I think the prices show value for portion size and given that everything is homemade with top notch ingredients. This is quality Italian. NOT Olive Garden darlin. Bravo to the owners and staff. This place is a welcome addition to Dripping Springs / Hill Country."

Dear Austin Coffee Bar popped up on my radar when I was in need of moving from Proud Mary to another spot since they were closing at 4pm. Finding DACB open and a short drive, I figured why not and go check it out. There are a few spots to utilize for parking and I knew I was in for something special as I was walking in through their enclosed courtyard.The interior is like a flashback to a 50s diner and they have a meny beyond coffee including alcoholic and zero proof cocktails. You'll even find boba tea on the menu! My favorite part were the love letters to Austin which was a nice touch."

The food was incredible. We were blown away by the stracciatella pie. The white pie was also delicious. Good cocktails and the wine list wasn't overwhelming which I appreciate. Loved this place. Had so much fun. It's a lil spendy but I think that's definitely the kinda vibe of this place overall. "So how did I find this hidden gem? I was in the area running some errands and literally put into my maps "beer".. this spot shows up within 1 mile so I swing by. I have no idea what to expect, quite literally is a little hidden haha but I parked out back which I don't think Is paid? I didn't get a ticket or anything so idk lol. Now it's about 315pm, right after opening. I Walked in and grabbed the last seat at the bar. There was already a small crowd. I saw the pool tables and dart boards, outdoor seating. The bartender gets my order quickly, swipes my card, and goes on about his day. Staff was masked the entire time. I had the 512 porter which was delicious and only $5 each which is v reasonable IMO. I watched ghostbusters on one tv and football on the other while connected to the free wifi to read some emails. I had a couple people make small talk and got a super chill vibe. Seems like a fair amount of locals, but not a bad spot to stop in for a quick drink. By the end of my visit, I got invited to join a book club so yeah, I'd definitely go back!"

We also got the Desi Garlic Sticks and my wife did not see they had green chillis as well, haha, so pretty spicy. Will get those again without the chillis. Also got the curry wings, very tasty but covered them in cilantro which was weird, took most of that off.Overall, great experience and will try again for sure!"

"My hubby and I love checking out breweries that we've never been to before, in hopes of adding a new brewery to our rotation of breweries to hang out at, when we're in the mood for tasty drinks & great vibes. So w/ Old Gregg Brewing Company being a new brewery that recently opened near our home (November 2024), we were excited to check it out & have now visited this brewery twice. Here is my feedback & why I'm giving Old Gregg Brewing Company a three-star review: 1.) very open, w/ plenty of seating - both indoor (bar seating and high top tables) and outdoors (picnic tables outside under a covered patio), wood shutters that are opened up when it's warm outside, which makes the inside space feel that much bigger & allows the cool air flow into the space. On a rainy & cold day, the wood shutters were kept closed making the inside feel cozy. There are multiple tvs mounted for the sports watching enthusiasts and also brand new board games & cards for customers to use. 2.) The "eh" for my hubby and I, is the beer selection. While the selection of brews are reasonably priced, the ABV content of the small selection of brews on tap only range between 3.2 - 5.4 - w/ only one IPA beer that is at 6.0 (this is the highest ABV).The glasses they are served in, are smaller in oz size from what other breweries use, which means you'll most likely need to buy more drinks if you're hoping for a buzz that makes you feel a little bit prettier (or handsome ;)). Old Gregg does have a few specialty cocktails on the menu (I've had the Matilda's Mexican Martini ($15) comes served in a small plastic shaker that you get about 2.5 small martini drinks - tasty but alcohol content wasn't consistent between bartenders) and they also have a few frozen drinks on the menu ( I've had the Spicy Margarita ($11) is a frozen drink that looks very tasty & refreshing because of the dark plum color but I don't recommend it because it definitely is SPICY! It has sriracha pepper flavor in it so I would ask for a small sample to taste before you purchase. I also have had the Alcohol Spritz but didn't like the taste.) Additional tidbits: -- food options: Yellow Bell Taco food truck onsite (food is so delicious and fresh! Highly recommend them) There is also Pint Pizza onsite (can't give feedback since I've never eaten food from them.)-- parking: Private parking lot w/ plenty of parking spaces -- no playground for kids but there are a few lawn games setup outside Hope this info helps! "Had the Fried Shrimp and the Fried Catfish. The shrimp were really fresh, very large, and had a great flavor to them. The same for the catfish fillets, large and flavorful. I really enjoyed the parsley seasoning stuff that they put on the fries and on top of the shrimp before they were brought out, and fresh lemon juice definitely brought it all together. The music was a little loud for the size of the space, but I mean that's not that big of an issue. We will definitely be back, and she's excited to have another place near her work to eat at for when she does Lent."
