"Coffee is wonderful & the blackout cake was devoon, not too sweet & plenty moist! the other baked goods looked yummy too. Pleasant staff, what's not to like...really nice place all round."
"I order from this location pretty consistently for work, and it's always been a good experience. All of the cookies I want are always available, the staff is friendly and greets me when I walk in, and the orders are ready fairly quickly. The Crumbl app is so dang easy to use! The cookies always come out great and I know they're delicious."
"This is my favorite Boulangerie in Texas and is owned by the sweetest French couple. I'm so glad they opened this location in Austin since I'm a little reluctant to drive all the way down to San Antonio from Dallas for some French goodies. Everything here is so fresh and the service is kind and fast. Also, love the display of their baked and refrigerated goods. For my family, the ham and butter sandwich and the croissants are favorites. Oh and eclairs when they are available!"
"Stumbled upon this place; while on a recent trip, after I saw a couple social media posts about Cheri Coffee (which is in the same lot) so decided to give it a try. Couldn't decide what to get so we decided to do something called a Sweetish Sampler, which is basically a box with one of everything in it. Definitely the right call, as everything was fresh and delicious - my favorites were the Swedish Tosca cake and the Pear Cardamom cake, neither of which I'd ever run across before, let alone tried. The tosca was moist and buttery, with an amazing sugary salty almond topping, and the Pear Cardamom cake had strong pear and ginger tones and textures, with just the right combination of cardamom and cinnamon. Hands down a couple of the best pastries I've had in recent years! The owner was friendly and helpful and talked me through everything on the menu before I ordered. He apparently also caters meetings and events as well, which feels like a no-brainer if it's your turn to provide the treats at the next company off-site. Next time I'm in Austin I will definitely be back! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed."
"Ordered for my 45th birthday party at home. Not only was the cake beautiful - and with the purple roses I requested to boot per my party theme! - but when I bit into the chocolate frosted vanilla cake, I had one thought..."This is f*cking phenomenal" And I was sober, so this was an authentic response! I have been savoring the leftovers and look forward to ordering from Sweet Charli again. And I still can't believe this is both gluten and dairy free !!! HIGHLY recommend!"
"Me Myself & Pie makes some super fantastic pies! I happened to stop by their booth today at the HOPE Farmers Mkt for some samples. They had about 6 different pies whole or by the slice. After sampling the Coconut Cream I had to have a slice to take home but it did not make it out of the parking lot:) The woman working the booth said that they also have a booth at the Bastrop Farmers Mkt."
"So moist and so good yuummmyyy!! Did a fundraiser with them and everyone loved them! Will def get more"
"Oh. My. Goodness. What a treat. We drove all the way from San Antonio just to try this place based off everything we see on TikTok and we have 0 regrets. Sooo yummy.I was worried it would be too sweet but that wasn't the case. I got the Lost in Lotus and it was the perfect sugar cookie & cookie butter combo. The ice cream was so creamy too.The staff was all so friendly and I love that you can see everything they're doing. The guy behind the counter was very helpful.Inside is a little small so I was grateful it was warm enough to sit outside. This is a must-go every time I go to Austin now."
"Don't sleep on Teal House. I've live in Austin for 4 years and finally made my way here.Y'all, this coffee house is a bakery in back. With a selection of coffees & teas to pair with fresh baked pastries, it's a yes and more please for me.The breakfast croissant has a crispy, yet perfectly soft and fluffy inside. The kolaches are from heaven and I usually don't like them. They have fresh sourdough bread.Y'all, this place was awesome. Huge fan!"
"Super cute place. Unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of sitting in, because they were about to close. I love how they have local bites and goods as well as a complimentary coffee if you've used your Nike run app for that day. I didn't love my mocha. It gave serious chocolate milk vibes, but my cortoda was yummy. I'd definitely stop in again."
"This space, close to Breed & Co. in Westlake, is bright and open w seating inside and out. There is counter service, seat yourself, and food is delivered to your table. The long line when we arrived moved pretty quickly. And the kitchen was quick, too, as there was not a long wait for our food. The selection of fresh baked pastries is over the top! We shared a Nutella croissant, which was delicious. My breakfast sandwich--an everything bagel with scrambled eggs and arugula--was made to order and very tasty. My dining partner ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and it must have been the most buttery croissant either of us had ever seen-- absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try some of the other items I saw being delivered to the tables around us. This is a great spot for a cup of coffee and a pastry or a full meal. Welcome to Westlake!!"
"We came back to Caroline this time for brunch after the Austin Marathon. I was very happy with my chicken and waffles. The waffles were crispy without being dry. The chicken was juicy and chunky. The breakfast burrito was delicious too. It was the perfect post run fuel. Biz gave us excellent service! The interior is modern and fun.I'm grateful we returned and had a great experience!"

Ya know when you walk in a place and can just tell that the workers/owners are good people? It felt so welcoming and peaceful in here for the short time I ordered and got my coffee but it made an impact! I got the brown sugar cinnamon iced latte with oat milk and it was perfect. They even left foam on the top (if you're dairy free you know this is uncommon)Very impressed and will come back

I've been to this place a few times and i've had mixed experiences. It seems as if the pastries are very well made. However the coffee is definitely a mixed bag. Today I ordered a cortado and let the woman know what I was expecting and she did a great job. If I could give the almond croissant a ten out of five I would. It.Was absolutely a ethereal and one of the best i've ever had. All the pastries look amazing.I have yet to eat some of the savory food but they had offerings of croque monsieur, cassoulet, chicken with mushrooms, etc. I absolutely love french food and especially country style. This place is definitely very pricey. It was $17.14 for 1 pastry and coffee plus 18% tip. Ugggh ...so I won't visit often. That said, I will visit agaun when a real French pastry fix is in order.

This was the best GF cake, cupcake, etc I've had for the last 5+ years since being diagnosed celiac. Sweet Charli Girl was so fun and easy to work with. I was super late asking for a cake but got this perfect creation that matched our theme for a competitive price and the taste was perfect. I thought I was going to eat until I busted! Thank you!!!

My family loves nothing bundt cakes and are thrilled to have this new location nearby. The store is well kept and the staff are very welcoming and kind, even obliging my mom's request for the bundlets with the most icing.I've tried all the flavors including the seasonals and my old faithful is lemon, white chocolate raspberry is also a top tier choice. The pumpkin spice and caramel apple cider are both great for seasonal options, although some are a miss (looking at you, churro dulce de leche). Awesome addition to Mueller, hope it does well here!

I had this place saved on my to try list and it didn't disappoint! If you are looking for an evening/late night snack, this is the place for you. I stopped by on a Saturday night around 1 am and while it wasn't a line, the wait for the ice cream was about 10-15. Waiting inside was somewhat iffy. The tables & floor was pretty dirty. They didn't have napkins to clean the table so don't get too comfy.I tried the turtle, brownie topped with pecans & chocolate drizzle. It was enough for two people and we still didn't finish it.

"Great service. Some of the best bread I've sampled. Needed to bring some on a flight back to SLC, and it held up well for days. Excited to try again when I'm back in town."
"Such a hidden gem! The lady who owns it is so nice, I found this place after going to Pilates next door and now I look forward to Pilates just to go get myself a treat. I first got the cookies and omg so delish, price is amazing, and they are small size so I don't feel bad giving one to my baby. Trust me, get the dozen. Then I finally made it to get one of the chocolate croissant. Listen, I'm French. First of all the name is actually pain au chocolat, and it's HARD to find good ones in Austin. These are the best I've had here, hands down. I can't stop wanting more. Never have time to even take a pic of them before I devour them. Anyway, it's a hole in the wall, there is no cute seating or anything, but you're gonna get the best pastries for a really reasonable price. Run."
"Cute cafe to have a nice pastries and drinks.Enjoyed a little gallery on their walls that were for sales.Service was decent. It is located next to the hairshop I go to, so whenever I had a bit time to waste before appointment, this cafe is good to spend some time."
"This I a delightful little cafe with modern yet comfy furnishings. I ordered a cafe con leche, Empanada de Espinaca Y Queso, and a Chipa. Delicious. The owner also filed our hearts with her kind words and smiles. I look forward to returning and bringing my wife!"
"Cute, French style pastry shop in the arboretum! We stopped by walking past to mosey around and scoped out an abundance of flakey, sweets and savory noms!Picked up a chocolate croissant and a spinach and feta pastry and both were very tasty! Service from the staff were very friendly and attentive to answering any questions we had and I was able to get my order in and out no problem!Lovely interior decor and aesthetic for all your romantic style vibes and quaint surroundings!"
"A cute coffee shop and pie spot in south Austin! The pies might look small but they are pretty intense!Brought these to a family gathering and they were a hit!! I personally love the key lime pie and the strawberry cheesecake. Both have a good balance and depth of flavor. Definitely recommend trying the flavors or asking the staff for recommendations!"
"What a homey coffee shop. Attended the yearly galentine speed friending. Had chai latte, spicy sweet perfection. The sound space room is closed off from the coffee shop. The hostess was friendly and kept the vibe chill. Great ambiance and thanks for the evening. Can't wait to do more events here."
"I hired Fadi to make me some desserts for my birthday. I told him my budget, number of guests, and flavors I love. He made a cake and cookies, with the request of them all being Vegan, and it was so damn good. I highly recommend Fadi and In Between Cuisine. Good man, good food."
"Cute little French bakery serving baked goods, desserts and coffee. If they aren't out in front, ring the bell for assistance. Food is tasty, but a tip - they don't warm it up for you."
"I have been remiss in not updating my initial review for so long! I must have just gone when they were having an off day, because this place is now in my regular rotation. The bread is always soft and fresh and the sandwiches made with love and lots of fresh veggies. The staff are cheerful and welcoming. What a gem of a local spot!"
"Came across a pic posted for Heaven's Bistro Bakery on IG showing a variety of French-inspired pastries that looked so pretty that I just had to taste for myself, in hopes that they would be pretty AND delicious.Well folks, here is my feedback from our visit, as 1st time customers (adult daughter and I) on Friday, 11/01/2024 - around 10:30am and why I'm giving our visit a 3-star review -1. Atmosphere / Vibe -While not very big inside they do have inside seating - both small tables & a few table tops w/ stools that were oddly designed because they had "bike pedals" for your feet that made it difficult to get comfortable on. We did eat our food there and not much of a vibe. Very quiet inside, which made it very easy to hear any conversation happening around you. 2. Food & Drink-We did order a few items - Chicken Pesto Omelette (very flavorful & definitely recommend); egg & cheese croissant (egg was lacking flavor); chocolate croissant (tasty); fruit danish (my favorite..very delicious!); honey almond cookies (tasty and not too sweet). My daughter was given the wrong food order & despite it not being very busy & several employees working, it did take a while to get the correct food order. 3. Staff / Customer Service - Friendly-ish, aloof, & very French-inspired 4. Parking Situation -Have their own parking lot right in front of the building. Final Thoughts - Eh, okay if I'm the area. Hope this info helps. Rebecca"
"Before Keto, I would come here and try their speciality cupcakes. They are so sweet so I recommend sharing with someone. Their flavors are unique and I'm always looking forward to their weekly flavors. I recently started keto and having those sweet cravings are super real. I knew that pflour shop made keto cupcakes but I didn't know they were THIS good. Their chocolate cupcake is packed with flavor and tastes like the real thing!I stopped by this morning to grab more cupcakes and they had their Mothers Day cookies out! They were super cute. They post a lot of updates on their Instagram so I recommend following them. They respond to comments and dms!"
"Probabaly the cutest bakery/patisserie I have come across on my Austin adventures so far! Rocheli brings the best of France to the best state in the US, LOL! The vibe is all there, thanks to the super cute "Bonjour Austin" neon light sign at the front.I ended up visiting during "Barbie weekend" (not planned at all) so they had some extremely pink/Barbie-themed desserts, but I ended up sharing a lavender lemon custard tart and a pistachio eclair with my company. They also have an wide assortment of iced teas and latted, and I helped myself to a rose-flavored one of course! If you have a sweet tooth and a hankering for pink, Rocheli is the way to go!"
"It's the middle of winter and so you know it's that time of year where you have your hot coffee, chocolate and pan dulces. I have had a huge craving for pan de canela for the past couple of months and finding this place made me so happy. The establishment is huge with a very large selection of authentic artesanal breads and cakes. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Service staff were all very nice. I also like that they were open late! I would definitely be a regular here if I lived in Austin."
"Pork tacos are goodSmash burger is goodFries are great. I get the feeling this place will be yummy until they start cutting corners. It's got great Capital Factory energy spill over. Delicious"
"This shop is small and had one person working the counter at the time. I had the bean and cheese nachos, which were great on their own. Each chip was half of a corn tortilla with a great crunch, generous spread of refried beans, and a lot of cheese. I was happy that it came with a little guacamole, tomato, and lettuce. These went great with the green and the red salsas. I also got an al pastor taco, but it wasn't sliced from a trompo. The meat was flavor like al pastor pork and it was tender and went well with the red salsa.I was unhappy with the cajeta empanada. It was the worst Mexican bakery item I've ever had because it was all dried up. The cajeta was hard and crunchy instead of creamy. It was too late for me to change my order once I was back home eating."
"Came around 9:30am on a Sunday. Not too many folks eating, and therefore the wait staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us to sit outside with our dog!The food order was taken quickly (and again they were VERY accommodating to specific substitution requests!). We both got the standard breakfast (eggs, sausage/bacon, and a side). I upgraded to the biscuits and gravy. The food was filling but not overly heavy as can sometimes happen with diner food. Some of my fruit was in bad shape, but there was a large enough portion that I could pick around it!The tables outside were a bit dirty, but it was our choice to sit outside. Overall nice visit and quality food at a damn good price!"
"I went back to Pieous for lunch the other day and I take back my previous review of their pizza. We ordered the Brussels pizza and added bacon because it sounded unique and I was there with a girlfriend. Both of us wanted to venture towards a vegetable-forward pizza that we'd never be able to share with our husbands. It was delicious! Then we shared a Tiramisu for dessert and two glasses of wine. I think Pieous will now make it's way into our lunch rotation.Service-wise, it is counter service. The girl who rang us up with a smile and was able to split our tab in half. Our food was brought out to us and since we lingered for a bit of conversation, someone came and cleared our table as well. The ambiance seems modern to me. My only suggestion would be to add physcial menus, unless I missed them. As some other reviews have mentioned, they have a pretty extensive menu, but I forgot my glasses so it was challenging for my old eyes. I ended up pulling the menu up on my phone but then felt self-conscious for taking so long to decide and just ordered. I don't regret my choices, but that would be me only piece of feedback to make my experience better."
"Came around 1pm. Just needed a baguette and that wonderful amazing cranberry walnut sourdough. Lord, have you had it? It's flipping good. I try not to eat too much bread, but when I do, I'm so happy I'm able to treat myself with Easy Tiger. I will be making a delicious baguette grilled slices with a few different cheese, topped with strawberries, peaches, and apple. Drizzle with a little espresso balsamic, and a traditional aged 18 years balsamic as well. That will be my little snack for tomorrow .The line was out the door today, at around 1pm, but 2 cashiers made the line move pretty fast. The young gentlemen was ver nice as I gave my order to him. And it got everything ready for me. My sour dough was sliced, which is such a great help. I have a bread knife, but I can't seem to cut a straight line. Parking lot was pretty tight. It's a decent lot, and they don't share the lot with another business, they were just busy, and the lot was full. Thankfully I did find a spot, hooray for small compact cars. Will come back for sure. I like Easy Tiger bread. I get it when I have company, and guests, and when I'm down in the area."
"Food: 5, service: 5, ambiance: N/ABecause of celiac disease, we are always in search of an excellent GF baker. We found Sophie's Bakery on Yelp and decided to order two cakes for New Year's Eve. Despite the very short notice, Naomi had both cakes ready in time for our event. The cranberry pecan bundt cake was delicious, moist and full of fresh cranberries. All of our non-GF family members had second and even third slices! This seasonal cake is a winner, and can be ordered without nuts as well. The second one was her blueberry lemon cake, which was full of blueberries, but a bit dry and hard. When I brought this to Naomi's attention, she was quite dismayed, and immediately offered to re-bake the cake, explaining that she would use a different oven. Naomi's friendliness and responsiveness to our feedback is the kind of service that will keep us coming back over and over again. We've already ordered another one for this weekend. Note: Naomi does take Saturdays off in observance of the Sabbath so you would need to order for Fridays or Sundays instead of you want something for the weekend."
"Great service, Good food! We love coming here after school to pick up dinner for the kids."
"Tried the apple pie and chocolate orange scone, that I picked up from the Lakeline Farmer's Market. The scone had impressive giant chunks of chocolate. I couldn't taste the orange though and the scone overall was pretty basic. The apple pie however was excellent! Delicious flaky crust and perfect texture and sweetness on the apples. I ate it heated up with vanilla ice cream and it was one of the best apple pies I've had!"
"Great little dessert stop! I had a chocolate chip cookie with a Tiny scoop of the Vanilla Caramel Crunch for $7.58. The cookie was still crispy on the outside, warm gooey inside and the ice cream was delicious. The serving was enough for 2 people to hit the spot, or 1 person with a sweet tooth like me."
