Nice "social house" coffee shop concept. I like that they have a lot of pastries and drinks options. I had their hot latte and ham/cheese croissant which were both unremarkable. Milk in latte was not frothed correctly and coffee tastes underwhelming. Their pastries prices are quite high. The place was crowded on the weekend seems like the whole neighborhood came out, especially families with kids since they have a playground in the back. Cute place but imo drinks are meh.

I've been remiss in updating this review. The food and pastries are still fantastic! They add new menu items thru each season, so it's worth checking them out as seasons change. I'm always so excited to see the new offerings!Brentwood now has a food pantry & refrigerator outside that the community and customers contribute to. I love that commiment to their community. I try to bring something with me when I visit them. With some customers doing this, it can help sustain it. Consider doing this.Every weekend there is a specialty scone. By joining their email list, you can find out in advance what it is.

I love all the pastries and baked goods here, and the fact that they have vegan options! The coffee is also surprisingly good since I think they use greater goods beans. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating although the indoor seating is slightly limited. The outdoor seating is nice however there's a big kids playground so if you want a quiet experience with your outdoor seating then this probably isn't the best place! Overall, though this is definitely one of my go to places and I would recommend!

Great spot for coworking or a slow morning with the kids! I came around 10:30am for a late morning co-working sesh on President's Day. Brentwood Social was busy, but not overalls packed. I was able to work at a well lit room, with minimal music and sound. It was great! I had to wait in line to order, but it didn't take long. I had a matcha latte and ham and cheese croissant. The ham was THICK and the latte was not too sweet. Love that Brentwood Social has different rooms and knooks to sit and study or to work. There's also a playground in the back and picnic benches outside. Highly recommend for a weekday pick me up!

Brentwood Social House has great local coffee, a big selection of pastries, snacks, and lunches made in house, plenty of room inside, good parking in the lot and on the street, warmth, and wifi. The greater purpose of Brentwood Social House, however, is in its name. Beyond what you normally expect and hope for in a coffee shop, they define themselves by the way they stay connected to the neighborhood they serve. They host an open food pantry on site, a free little library, and a kids' play scape.Usually I come for an oat milk latte and a chocolate croissant. Perfection! But I've also come here for afternoon tea with friends, which was really lovely.

Such a nice neighborhood spot! They have tons of fresh baked pastry options. It's definitely geared towards families: playground, a room with books and toys, and a family bathroom. It has tons of character with rooms with natural light, and even has a quiet room that's perfect for coworking. My only complaint is that the drip coffee tasted a little burnt.

They have a community refrigerator and outdoor pantry of free food. Going on food runs to hand to homeless people makes it all worthwhile. There are free books for kids in one dining room and plenty of toys. Oh, and their shepherd's pie and cookies are good too.

Great place to bring your kiddo! My 18 month son absolutely loved it. The only critique I have is that for whatever reason I found the smell inside quite off-putting. It was probably just a personal sensitivity or something since my wife didn't notice. Overall though, we'd come back if we were in town!
