Bohemian Barbecue

BB recently catered to an event this week in Austin. This has to be, hands-down, the best brisket I have ever had. So tender, juicy and packed with flavor. OMG! And being originally from Texas that means a lot.

5 stars to the food.. and the staff. Let me start out by saying that I have used Bohemian BBQ for work events. They have catered birthdays and other personal events. Consistency is key -- and they hold it. I have been to other BBQ joints around town ( not knocking any of them) who have wonderful BBQ-- but go back again and it's awful, then again and it's good. I dunno. Anyway- each time I have had the pleasure to feast on their outstanding food- it has been a solid meal every time. I am from Memphis- which means Pulled pork is life. Right? Thought so. - Their Pulled pork is signature as most places in TX don't offer it. Get it on a bun or even better- ask them to put it on nachos. -slap your momma- So good. To continue- I am loving brisket more and more. Tender- juicy and full of flavor. They will even sell you an entire brisket ready to go. The only item I have not had on their menu is their Mac-n-cheese but that is only because according to everyone in the US "You are a communist "for not liking Mac-n-cheese. Sorry for not being sorry.To sum things up- it's great. Try it. In addition- the staff is top-notch. Lance, the owner, is very kind and community-focused. He always has a smile on his face and is willing to step in and serve his wonderful meats to the masses. *** Update- Since SXSW was canceled this year, Please consider booking Lance and his Team of BBQ ninja's for your next event.

Bohemian Barbecue catered a private party I hosted and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Lance was great and easy to work with and ensured that that food was hot and ready whenever we were. The barbecue itself was out of this world fantastic and the sides are all equally incredible! Highly recommend Bohemian Barbecue!

The food was great. I enjoyed the brisket the most, but the sausage and ribs were tasty. The vinegar based sauce is different than any I've had before but the meat didn't need it.

Bohemian was set up in our neighborhood(Parkside- Georgetown). We ordered and payed online and set a pickup time, it couldn't have been easier and more convenient. This was our first experience with them- great experience! The brisket was well marbled, moist, tender(I cut it with my fork) and smoked to perfection. The pulled pork was also moist and flavorful. The only side we had was the pinto beans; everyone liked them, too. It's official, I have a new favorite BBQ spot here in town!

Their menu said that they had hot chocolate. It was so cold out. They did not have hot chocolate. Update: The owner replied with a few snarky, but accurate comments. He seems like a nice guy. I'm glad to hear they did add signs when they were out of hot chocolate, which was all I ever wanted after waiting in those long lines. Maybe one day I'll try their BBQ too ;)

Amazing food, quick and enormous portions. Great smoky flavor in their pulled pork. The frito pie was enormous and worth every penny; enough to share!!! Great staff too!

Excellent food and service! They delivered to our doorstep on Thanksgiving day, hot and ready to eat. Will definitely order from them again!

Wish you would open up in Jonestown or Lago Vista - maybe at food truck park in Lago. Your BBQis delicious

This was not a good bbq experience. Pulled pork was dry, and had no flavor. BBQ sauce was way to vinegary. Twice baked potato salad was just potatoes, vinegar and a little salt and pepper, none of the other ingredients listed on their website was in it.The smoked hamburger was way under cooked and dry. The meat was to lean not juicey, and the orders that were supposed to have kettle chips, didn't.
