Bobar

Stoped by on my way home from San marco outlets and was super excited bobar did not deviate from my route. Bobar lies right at the edge of the town center and has parking right in front. They are a shared store with the donut shop. Inside there are two registers, I imagine, one for boba/drinks and one for donuts/pastries. I ordered a dirty brown sugar in a small and was charged $7.40A bit steep for a small drink. The tapioca was perfect fly sweetened and chewy. I like the options but the menu is a tiny little screen above the register so looking through it was a bit difficult. Cute little store and great location.

Their boba is delicious! Very rare to find a boba place that can nail the "ube" taste. It's fairy new, so they still have a lot of growing to do-- but the quality of their food and drinks are good! If you're a boba fan, definitely swing by!

We were visiting this small town, considering moving here. We wanted to try a bubble tea and were in the downtown area, which has a special yet familiar vibe of old fashioned yet fun. It feels like it's the beginnings of a revived lively downtown. Bobar is just off to the side, at the main light so, a perfect location! I can overlook the very hot temperature when we walked in; as if the heater was running on a hot day. There were a few customers seated, waiting for their orders. Donut Case to the left as you walk in: Yum! We were excited to try this fun colorful drink. But WHY did the staff seem unfriendly? Mad face while taking our order? Mad face when we receive our order.The bubble tea was ok. It seemed slightly watery as opposed to the fullness we've enjoyed at other establishments; maybe an effect of the heat in the room? But what we really end up walking away with from the entire experience is a feeling of "You guys are not really welcome here, but what do you want!?" Was that said? Not in words, but that was the vibe. It equates to a very stiff stare, an ambiance that does not convey "Welcome!" It's disappointing ...and distracting. I think maybe she just said, "Yes?" The gentleman just gave a stare too. Like, "...who are you people?"Um.... We are Customers. Will we go back? Maybe one more time to see if that's the norm or ...hopefully it was just a bad day. Maybe the a/c was broken or something. I honestly hope so because Bobar -could be- a Regular Stop. A place where you tell all your friends, "You gotta try this delicious drink, just off the Square! And the people there are so nice, welcoming, friendly!" But at present, it would be a "No! Never Again!" I'm hoping that's not the case. We will try one more time.

Wow! Traditional Boba Tea California Style! SO many choices at reasonable prices in a modest setting: at the best Hays Chinese & Donut site! Local Family owned! Ask for Melissa! I got my drink with strawberries-so COOL! No fuss, no hassle in minimalist setting. Just WOW! Kyle is g r o w i n g ! I feel so COOL!

The boba is so good plus your able to add the little popping bobas the service was amazing and the drink came out so fast
