BOA Steakhouse

Probably one of the best steakhouses in Austin! This California transplant has made a big impression on the local dining scene. I came here for happy hour with a friend, and everything was fantastic from start to finish.We started with a glass of red wine for me and the BOA Smash for my friend. They offer a great selection of cocktails priced around $9-10 during happy hour. For food, we both chose the smash burger and shared an order of Thai chili wings. Everything was excellent, and I was impressed by the high-quality Wagyu beef they offered at such a reasonable price.For dessert, we had the sticky toffee cake, served with vanilla ice cream and topped with a sparkler. It was definitely a showstopper, and the manager even came out to serve it to us!The service was top-notch as well as super attentive and the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. I'm already dreaming about coming back here to celebrate my next special occasion!

Shut down on a Friday night! Booked an early dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Got there early to enjoy some happy hour cocktails before sitting down to what we anticipated would be a great meal. Waitress delivered our drinks and mentioned there was a potential kitchen issue brewing but they were working on it. Within 10 minutes we were notified the restaurant was closing due to a hood vent issue. They could not fix it and without a hood they would not be able to use the stove. We were given our check and told they would help us set up a reservation elsewhere. And for our troubles we could leave our name and they would give us a free appetizer on our next visit. They were kind enough to pull my car out of valet and return my keys. But they never offered to buy our first round. Very disappointing for a high end place. I feel bad for the employees who had to go home for the evening with zero money. We ended up at III Forks which was absolutely amazing. It was a good upgrade overall. Can't blame them for an equipment failure but the least they could have done was to comp our round of drinks before kicking us out.

AMAZING!!!!! I am a few weeks late in writing this review due to the holiday season, but having been a BOA fan since LA, we were so excited when Austin was getting one! When it opened, we took family and friends there to experience the food and atmosphere they are known for, and it didn't disappoint. So when it came time to celebrate my birthday with my twin sister and a group of girlfriends, we booked here for a fun night before seeing a show. The night's details are unimportant, but it wasn't a great experience, and when their General Manager, Sam, got wind of it, he reached out to me directly to make it right, and boy, did he! With my twin sister still in town (our birthday is before Thanksgiving), we went back in with my husband and had outstanding service by the Boa Team. Sam, Ariana, and Tony (I believe that was his name) ensured we were more than taken care of so that the food and wine didn't stop coming. The interaction with the staff was wonderful. You would've never guessed the other night had happened. Truly living up to why we were orginal fans of the restaurant, its service, and its atmosphere in the first place. After dinner, Sam gave us a tour of some of their private rooms, as we host many corporate dinners and lunches with work that he will no doubt continue to get our business, whether we are celebrating something personally or entertaining clients! In the food industry, you can always have a bad/off night--that's a given--but seeing how a restaurant (at this level) handled those situations when they impacted a special occasion speaks volumes. How Sam and his team went above and beyond is not something I will forget, especially having grown up in this town. RUN! Don't walk here; the food and service are impeccable, and I could not recommend them enough!! Excellent Service! Excellent Food! Excellent Hospitality and an Excellent Vibe!!!

This restaurant offered an incredible dining experience, with food that was nothing short of amazing and service that surpassed all my expectations! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. The charming ambiance added to the overall experience, making it the perfect setting for celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. We truly had a wonderful time. If you find yourself in the Austin area, this place is an absolute must-try!!!

Visited BOA for dinner to celebrate an anniversary and it did not disappoint! BOA is a whole vibe and everything about it is amazing! From the food and drinks, to the impeccable staff - it's a home run to eat here!They have so many choices for appetizers, mains and sides. The Wagyu Meatball and the table-side Caesar salad was absolutely delicious! The Wagyu Ribeye was cooked perfectly and was flavorful, as was the Branzino fish! The sides - lobster mac n cheese and the smashed broccoli were off the chart amazing! You can't go wrong with any of the options here.The staff was super attentive, explained the menu options, gave great recommendations and made the experience phenomenal! Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was chic and trendy, with a variety of seating options. It's located in Downtown Austin on 6th St. If there was a 10-star review option, I'd give it - it's that's good!Thanks BOA for making a celebration, that much more phenomenal!

Spent the whole night here last Friday! I met w few girl friends for dinner with a 6:15pm reservation. Some were running late so we didn't get say until 7pm and the host was very accommodating. We stayed at our table for 4 hours talking, order drinks, apps, table side cedar, steak, pasta, and desert (all deserts come out sparkling!) and they did not rush us at all. That's my biggest let peeve with nice restaurants but they really let us take is slow and enjoy the evening there. Everything was delicious and service was 10/10. It's super cute inside too and it did get busy on this Friday night. Definitely will each at again!

Came here for our anniversary dinner and I absolutely loved it. The ambience, the staff, the food - all amazing. Our server was Angel and he really made it an enjoyable visit. We probably ordered way too much food but there was so much we really wanted to try. From the Caesar salad prepared at the table to the buttered rolls and wagyu meatball, appetizers were on point. I ordered branzino and it was delicious. The skin was perfectly crispy and the sauce and peppers a nice compliment. We also had the smashed broccoli and lobster Mac and cheese - delish!! I enjoyed the Clean for my cocktail, it was light and refreshing. I also appreciated the staff helping us celebrate. They had Happy Anniversary cards waiting for us on the table and gave us dessert as well. Angel recommended the sticky toffee and it did not disappoint. It was sweet but divine! Overall such a nice visit in a beautiful place. Highly recommend.

BOA Steakhouse is hands down the best steakhouse in Austin right now. Since they opened back in June, we've already been three or four times, and every visit has been incredible. We even get the same server each time, which makes the experience feel extra special--they remember our names, where we like to sit, and even details from past conversations.For example, we went for my birthday once, and when we returned a month later, the server remembered and asked how the birthday trip went. That kind of personal touch is rare and shows how much they care about their guests. BOA is truly creating something magical with their service and attention to detail.As for the food--everything on the menu is a perfect 10. You really can't go wrong. If you're unsure, ask your server for recommendations--they always nail it. BOA Steakhouse has quickly become my favorite spot in Austin, and I can't recommend it enough!

We had a great night! The BOA experience is outstanding the service and food exceptional. The staff is awesome! Best restaurant in Austin!!!!!
