It was my first time trying this place and this is such a cute place for a date! Service was quick and they were so kind. I got the Omakase Nigiri Regular plate and my friend got the TX Wagyu Roll and Mr. Orange Roll (not pictured). All of them were so so good! We paired our sushi with old fashioneds :)I definitely have to come back to try the ramen!

Probably the best sushi you'll get in Austin. Absolutely amazing food wise. The environment is awesome as well. The service does take a minute but that's not their fault as they are constantly packed. With that being said be ready to shell out some real cash if you are hungry. There's definitely a reason we only go here on occasion!

Bluefin has the best Ramen in Austin. I live 25 minutes away and gladly make the drive each time because it's that good. I ordered the chicken Ramen and the broth was delicious. The chicken was tender and the noodles were the perfect consistency. I also ordered Nigiri as an appetizer which was also great. I like that it's a sit down in order restaurant because many of the Ramen restaurants in Austin are order at the counter. Overall incredible food, great ambience, and friendly service would come back again and again!!

Service and food were fantastic.Service: Our water glasses never got below half full, plates were removed within minutes after finishing and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Food: I ordered the curry ramen which was perfection- not too spicy and rich flavors. My husband got the bluefin special roll and said it was fresh and the spice hit him half way through which was a pleasant surprise. Ambiance: The background music was acoustic covers of popular songs which I enjoyed. There was live music setting up (Saturday evening at 6pm) when we left and he sounded good!So glad we stumbled upon this place and we return to try various items from the menu. Love that there is a restaurant where both sushi and ramen are on the menu and they know how to do both exceptionally well!

I'M A FOODIE PEEPS!!! And I travel the world. I have to say......I was impressed with the quality, portion size and presentation of the food at this sushi place. I live relatively close to Sunset Valley and I love going shopping in this area. So when my son said that he wanted sushi...I said "Let's try somewhere new!!!" Normally I don't. But I'm really glad that we did!!! The restaurant was quaint, had a lot of parking and we had the sweetest waitress....Miss. Vonie......then the food was great too. We eat sushi at least twice a week.....And this hands down NOW IS OUR NEW, FAVORITE SPOT, IN THE AREA!!! Reasonably priced and the waitress let us know, that if we go there between 1-3pm, then they have major specials. 2 rolls for $15.....3 for something etc. All I know is I was impressed. WE'LL SO BE BACK. So get ready to meet out whole clan Bluefin!!! See you again soon.

I have to say this may be my favorite ramen place in all of Austin! As a connoisseur of all types of ramen, I felt Bluefin offered numerous different flavorful broths that I couldn't really find elsewhere. My go-to is the spicy chicken ramen which comes with a "flavor bomb." Their edamame and other appetizers are always incredible every time. Their sushi and bento boxes are also great options if you aren't quite in the mood for ramen. Very delicious and reasonably priced options to go around. The restaurant itself has ample seating and also offers take-out as well.

Lunch at Bluefin is a dream. $17.5 for two rolls and a house salad with wasabi dressing. It was probably one of the best sushi experiences I've had in austin. The fish is extremely fresh, the service is incredible and the place itself is very aesthetically pleasing. I live in south austin and have always stayed within the 15 minute range for food but I regret it now! Truly no complaints from this experience. Came here for a lunch with a friend who is new in austin and he left extremely satisfied and looking forward to new foodie outings.
