Came here while killing time before a wedding. It was great place with lot of open green space and plenty of seating. My fellow day drinkers got wine tasting experiences and I got a beer flight. The brewery options were great and the owner bartender gave extra samples as they were canning. In my flight I got the Berliner, Helles, IPA, and stout along with a pint of Pils to close out my tab. All of them were great!Would come back here if I'm back in the area

Not the easiest location to get to but an adventure nonetheless, we made the most of it. Great place to host live music and large crowds.Pro - great craft beer selection. We loved our order and unfortunately did not get a chance to try out the wine, but we'll save that for another day. It was a very hot weekend, but the outdoor seating and relaxation is plus for good weather days. Con- the food was absolutely horrible. The food was ordered from a nearby food truck and only because we still had a drive back to Austin that we decided to get the light snack. These are not hard items to buy premade if there is no one in house who can make from scratch. The beer cheese was inedible, the pretzel hard and not worth finishing, the veggies were old, and I do believe the hummus/pita was bought from the store because that was good. Basically, take your food!

We visited 3 wineries today, and Bell Springs had our favorite wine of the day - the 2019 Merlot. However, from a comfort perspective, it was our least favorite of the 5 wineries we've visited so far this year on the October Texas Wine Passport. There is no indoor seating, and it was a HOT TX Fall day. Too hot to be outside drinking red wine. There was only one person behind the counter, and you had to go inside to the counter for each tasting. On a cooler day, the outdoor tables are probably more enjoyable.

I reserved a tasting online - super easy by the way- and we had a wonderful covered patio table already set up when we arrived. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the wines being served. We thoroughly enjoyed trying different varieties and seeing what we liked best. Our tasting included a charcuterie board as well and everything in it was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this experience!

A terrific place to stop on the way home from camping at Pedernales Falls. Beautiful, spacious seating. Yummy white wines that are only $9. Tastings are $20 which is the ridiculous norm for Texas wineries. They also have a food truck. People were having a fun time especially the ladies on a wine tour.

Helpful staff and delicious bites at Bell Springs! Most of the tasting space was outdoors and it was a cold rainy day!

We were staying in an AirBnb for the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday and found out that Bell Springs was only 10 mins away. We decided to come on down around noon and were glad to see the place not insanely packed. That have a large piece of property with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating for the whole family. We brought our dog and 9 month old to join us, and everyone loved it. We were able to take a corner spot under the cover and enjoy the absolutely perfect whether. This is definitely not your average winery because they also have a brewery attached! I'm typically not a big wine guy so I was very happy to see that both my wife and I had options for the day. To top it off, they have a food trailer that makes pretty good food. We ordered the pretzel, hamburger, and brussels . The brussels were amazing, burger was good, the pretzel was a major disappointment. The included cheese sauce was nearly water and pretzel was pretty hard. Luckily, everything else more than made up for it. I'm not a big wine guy so can't really comment on the quality but all around great spot.

Bell Springs Winery is probably the most underrated business of its kind in the Dripping Springs, TX locale. There are a lot of wineries and breweries in and around Dripping Springs. Some of them are good, some not-so-good. The great - and often left unsaid - thing about Bell Springs is that it's ALSO a brewery, and their beer is very good! The Scotch Ale is a particular favorite. This works out great for me, personally. I like wine, but I'm more of a beer drinker. Meanwhile, my wife can't drink beer (Celiac's disease) but loves wine. The grounds are also really nice. Lots of green space, trees, and places to sit. Nestled into a picturesque hillside, it's pretty bucolic. Grab a glass of wine - or a beer! - Sit under the veranda and listen to some live music. Great way to spend a lazy weekend day.
