Beijing Wok

Wow...we placed an order with a confirmation that said it would be ready in 30 minutes. TWO HOURS later, we got our cold food with missing items. The place was packed full of people picking up, in the exact same situation, and yet they were still taking phone orders and quoting people 30 minutes! It's Christmas. I'll forgive you for mismanaging the time to an extent, being understaffed, dealing with a huge rush. But seriously?! Continuing to accept orders and lying to people about wait time right in front of customers is just unreal. As for the (cold) food, the "fried rice" was white rice with soy sauce and the shrimp and walnuts was basically just covered in mayonnaise. We won't be back. And we will be calling for compensation.

This is our go-to takeout spot since it is so close to our apartment. Parking is easy/accessible, you can park almost immediately in front of the restaurant/front door which makes pickup easy, building is located next to several other establishments. We have eaten here many times (always takeout, never eat-in, although there is plenty of indoor seating always available) and never had an issue out of many visits. It seems most people order to-go since (not much inside the restaurant, mostly just tables); any time I stop by there aren't many or any people dining inside but the staff is always busy working to prepare lots of to-go orders in the back so this may be a good spot to go if you want to eat-in without being surrounded by a lot of people. The food is always hot and fresh and portions plentiful, staff is always so friendly. Their crab rangoon which is one of my absolute favorite noms so I'm very picky about it is not my favorite (very light on filling) but we always order anyway because the selection of fried tofu/vegetable dishes is awesome. Both the orange chicken and sesame tofu are very filling and satisfying (just wish they came with more veggies, sesame tofu is my staple but only comes with a couple pieces of broccoli so we always pair with an order of vegetable lo mein). The orange tofu has a little too much of the bitter orange flavor on the end for my liking compared to some orange dishes I've tried and overall I prefer the sesame tofu (you also get more of a texture element with the sesame seeds, being fried/tofu it is sometimes a bit soft/steamed by the time it arrives, naturally). That being said, the tofu reheats extremely well in the oven/air fryer like it's fresh again. Next time I'll try their Tofu Home Style to switch it up since it seems to be popular according to Uber. This might be my new go-to restaurant for Chinese food! We decided to try this place out last night. They are currently closed for dine-in so we ordered online for pick up (they also offer delivery). I got the Jalapeño Chicken with Lo mein noodles, along with hot and sour soup and an egg roll! The Lo mein was and jalapeño chicken were both soooo good! The chicken was nice and spicy, lots of veggies and a BIG portion. Definitely worth the money! Egg roll and hot and sour soup were pretty good as well! We definitely plan on coming back. Some of the reviews for Beijing Wok seem unduly harsh to me. We just finished two combo meals - I had the chicken with garlic sauce which was loaded with fresh mushrooms and water chestnuts. My husband had kung pao vegetables. For a $2 up charge to the combo meal, we each enjoyed a big chicken wing, an egg roll and soup. The wonton soup had a nice meaty flavor and husband said "yum" several times while eating his hot and sour soup. Both to go containers were packed full of the entrees so the quantity was generous. The food was ready for pick up 10 minutes after we ordered. I thought it was decent and will go there again.

Ordered from here to have it delivered. The food was mediocre but what's worse is the food poisoning I got from it. Been sick for almost two days. Would not suggest ordering from here.

Went yesterday for dinner and it was delicious. Soup was hot and flavorful. The chicken was nice and tender. Service was good and everyone was very nice, you will just need to be a little patient. Everything was very clean, over all was a great first experience. We'll be back!

Been eating here since a kid. The food quality isn't the same. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll and egg drop soup. The egg roll and soup were really good. The chicken lacked flavor and didn't taste fresh, very dry. The fried rice was crunchy rice with just soy sauce in it. Maybe it was an off day since they were really busy? I'll give them another chance. They were my favorite Chinese restaurant growing up here.

The food is delicious. I always get the Shrimp Egg Foo Young with steamed rice. Service is quick and nice. Ambiance is quiet.

READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING!!!! This was by far the worst food I have ever eaten. Not only was some of the chicken under cooked . But it had zero flavor. Some pieces tasted hard and like they have been sitting out all day. It absolutely did not taste fresh. My order took way longer than expected as well. A complete and utter disappointment and i will not reccomend anyone else eat here. I only ate about 4 pieces of chicken and i am already starting to feel sick to my stomach. Food was hard and cold as well!!You guys need to be inspected by a health inspector or whatever city food inspector there is. I will surely be complaining and making a report to this establishment. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!

We are vegan and a lot of places do not or can not change their dishes to accommodate vegans but Beijing Wok did! They listened to our requirements and thought about how to change dishes to meet our needs..unlike Madam Mam's who flat out said no to vegan! Thank you Beijing Wok for fresh delicious vegan meals! We really appreciate you!
