BD Riley's Irish Pub at Mueller

I never really have a bad experience. Sometimes the service is hit or miss, but that's sort of everywhere right now and when the place is busy it's real busy Dog and family friendly and good sized patio! Keep in mind everything is seat yourself and first come first serve and on nice days the patio non-barrel tables go quickly.The food is pub food, potato soup is good on a cold day in those two weeks of winter and I always tend to lean on the chicken strips - real chicken and lightly flavorful batter! This latest time I wasn't sure what I was feeling for a drink so I let the bartender decide "vodka or gin based, not sweet, more savory" and what I got was PERFECT although I can't remember the name now it was gin based with lavender. Solid and consistent

A solid pub with a great selection of beers on tap in proper sized pints and whiskey (unfortunately not available in pints). Great location, convenient parking garage with validation nearby, good proper Irish pub food. Irish Breakfast, stew, reubens, fish and chips. Muy bueno. Pints are priced very well especially considering the nicer neighborhood.

We come to B.D Riley's pretty often, we always order the wings and the Irish nacho's (don't forget to add the corn beef!!) and always satisfied with both our food and our service! The wings are typically really big and they always load up the nacho's my boyfriend really enjoys their buffalo, it has a nice hickory flavor. We visited last night 1/2/2025 and were served some of the smallest wings we have ever been served at an establishment before. Love you B.D Riley's and hope this was just a one time thing.

I had the foreknowledge that our party of six was coming here the day before which gave me plenty of time to read through dozens of reviews. One common subject was that yelpers either liked or did not like the fish and chips. We ordered it and the fish was very good. However, the chips were reminiscent of a previously frozen type that I've had at other establishments before. Not a fan. The other common denominator is that the business owner, Steve B comments on virtually every review. Also, if you want to avoid paying for parking, you can use one of two nearby garages and they'll validate your ticket with a QR code on their front door. We got here for a late lunch on a Sunday and the place was pretty full with the Cowboys on all their flat screens. This is a casual dog friendly seat yourself kind of place and it does get pretty noisy. After a round of beers, the food arrived about 15 minutes later. I decided on the burger, and I asked for cheese, which they forgot and a side of cole slaw instead of chips which was also forgotten. At least they brought a side of slaw and I got to keep the chips. The burger was ok, but I would not order it or the slaw again. I would not add this place to my "burger go to" list, although their Guinness and steak poutine is a unique specialty. When it's time to settle up, they'll just whisk away with your credit card and you'll notice they charge a wellness fee which supposedly is related to the staff. I'll let Steve B explain that one. Overall experience was 31/2 *. It's a place I'd definitely come back to. The added photos fill in the gaps to this review.

I'm so glad I checked out the hoppin spot in Mueller! We felt lucky to grab a table inside at 6:30 on a chilly Friday evening. We were served pretty quickly considering how crowded the place was, and the service continued to be consistent throughout the evening. It's a lively pub made all the more authentic by the Irish band that started playing a little while after we got our food and drinks. It was super loud! Couldn't really hear one another talk anymore, but perfect if you're there to enjoy the music and drink. The patio usually looks busy when I pass by, especially when Liverpool is playing! The food was good pub food. All fried to perfection. I don't eat much fried food, but I couldn't resist trying their famous fish and chips. Worth it! Really cool spot to hang out and I'll be back.

Nice bar in the Mueller area. Stopped in for a few beers after finding the place on Yelp while I was near the area. I would like to back and try the food.

BD Riley's always has a lively vibe with sports and live music. I've tried a couple of their cocktails and haven't found one that I liked. I get the veggie burger and fries as a vegan food option, which is good but not great. Parking is easy and they'll validate the garage fees. Unfortunately the service is consistently slow, but overall it's a decent time.

Every time I come here I have the best time! The service is quick and friendly and the food is amazing. It's the perfect pub vibe that makes you feel like you're actually in Ireland, and they get their Guinness shipped in! Olivia has been my bartender several times and she is the cutest, most attentive, and friendliest bartender. I look forward to seeing her every time I come. If you're debating, GO HERE!

We had a blast at BD Riley's Irish Pub on a gorgeous day in Mueller. Their fish & chips hit the spot, and we got to enjoy them outside with our pup. It was buzzing on a Friday night, but we snagged a high top by the walkway. Even though it was busy, the service was quick and super friendly. The fish and chips were the bomb - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. If you're looking for a Lent-friendly option, this is it! Plus, their patio is pup-friendly all around. Parking was a breeze, whether you opt for street parking or the garage. Definitely swing by if you're in the area!

Our server was super nice but super forgetful. He did genuinely feel bad but we had to ask for things several times. He forget part of our order. It wasn't the best service but he was very nice. It terms of food - it was good, your typical bar food. My boyfriend got a burger which he said was okay. I got the turkey club which was really good with tomato soup, I liked it - I would get it again.
