Barton Springs Saloon

Fantastic vibes. So glad it's still standing after all these years. Love bellying up at the bar and having a cold one here.

This saloon is a fixture on the Austin scene attracting locals and tourists alike. A former gas station turned bar, brilliant. I dig the rustic decor, open-air patio, and service. The bartenders are beyond nice. The prices are pretty freaking affordable too. Always a plus.

Do not come during trivia. The host plays disgusting fart sounds every 30 seconds. Imagine trying to eat or have a drink, and a wet fart sounds while you are talking to your friends.Totally unappetizing. Definitely soured the experience.

Nice relaxing place and after walking in the heat the place was nice and cool. Would've loved to try there wings but you have to order from a APP guess it's to hard to take an order like normal people

Love the vibe here and I don't even drink. Its been an Austin staple and the staff are def Austin bartenders. Reminds me of the old staff at Stubbs (our band used to play there) or the current staff at Lavaca St bar. Probably a bad fit if you want curated cocktails or an upscale ambiance.

Great dive bar. Nothing really else to say. I needed a spot to have a drink at noon on a Monday and they delivered.

Barton Springs Saloon is a great low key spot with cheap drinks. They recently got a new food truck, Downtown Burgers. Attached is the menu.

I very much love the vibe of this place, especially amongst so many hipster spots in the city. It's very divey. So, yes, it has a pool table and darts. The staff is super friendly and fun and the music is good to. It's mostly a sit down and hangout type of place, not much dancing, but dancing could be done.

Went ACL. If you've never been, it's a huge music festival. Lots of walking stopped in this bar to have a drink and killer wings and this guy was working and brought my girlfriend some Band-Aids because he overheard that she had cut her foot. Saved the day. Thank you sir
