Change can be tough. If you're lucky, it's for the better. That's the case for the veggie bao, getting a major upgrade in this latest evolution. Now going by the descriptor of "kung pao," I could actually taste the Sichuan peppercorns and their distinctive mala spice from the first bite, surprising me with their brightness and complexity. Tofu, mushrooms, carrots, glass noodles, and perhaps some other vegetables form a satisfyingly meaty, meatless filling, encased in pillow-soft steam bread. I'm a believer and a fan all over again, especially when you consider that a two pack of this goodness is just $5. You really can't beat that for cheap eats.Specific to this location, they have a lovely indoor seating area with self-serve water. The workers are the SWEETEST people! Be patient and kind, and you'll get the same in return.

Uber Eats special of 4 bao for $10. We also got an order of DanDan Noodles. After living in NYC and having access to China Town in Vegas, I'm literally still eating this wondering how this place even has business? This is probably some of weakest bao I've ever had and these Dan Dan noodles are like cold spaghetti with a chicken tenders, cucumbers, pickled onions and sauce that is just oily with mild heat. I'm mildly confused and don't really have anything too nice to say. I'd pass on this spot. 1618 is down the road and it slaps!

Finally, I had the time to try this adorable little place! The VERY colorful murals on the walls are so cute & they have a couple of comfy chairs to sit & relax on with cute, colorful pillows. I got the 2 bao/1 side combo plate. They have several fancy, sweet drinks, but I opted for a bottle of Coke. I chose the Teriyaki chicken & egg custard baos with Szechuan fries.Everything was very tasty & the chicken bao was my favorite. Pros:Very helpful serverThey had REAL plate for dine in! ;)Negatives, to me: PlasticwarePlastic sauce cupsPlastic straws:(

Soft-spoken, friendly staff assemble your meal in a quick serve kitchen. Some modern casual seating and graphic artwork on the walls made it a nice place to pop in and relax for lunch. The menu is not extensive, but it has enough options to make it interesting. I tried the fried chicken, brisket and the fries. I was craving some chili oil to give it more life. They served the bait with hoisin, which was too tangy and sweet for me. The brisket was fatty and had some flavor in the bun itself. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. The spicy fries were fine, but they weren't particularly spicy. Nice crisp though! But the boba drink was great: refreshing and filling. I'd pop back in for another go at the food and another drink!

The Texas Trio comes with a spicy brisket bao, juicy pork bao, and a teriyaki chicken bao. The Combo Basket comes with two baos of your choice and a side, so I got another spicy brisket bao, teriyaki chicken bao and regular fries. Really, really enjoyed all the baos - they were so flavorful and very filling. All the sides they served with the baos were great, but I really liked the brisket bao paired with the cucumber the most. The cucumber balanced out the flavor of the brisket. For the teriyaki chicken bao, I liked it paired with the BBQ sauce. Both drinks were super refreshing and tasted so good, but I have to say I liked the Austin Sunset more. Service was great and I loved the ambiance of the place!

Had been to the Mueller location of bao'd up a couple years ago. They had a lot of bao options at that time. However, this time I was disappointed to see that their bao options had greatly decreased, they only had a couple. At the time I went the ramen wasn't available either. I got the crispy chicken bao, it was tasty and not overly oily.

This is one of our favorite places for a quick bite or takeout on a busy night. The baos are delicious, my favorite are of course the veggie ones - creamy veggie bao and tofu gao bun. I really love their schezwan fries too and always get them as a side with the spicy mayo. There's also a bunch of boba bubble tea options to choose from.Staff its friendly and service is quick. The interior is recently renovated and seating is limited. But the graffitti on the walls gives the place a cool vibe. There's parking available outside the restaurant or in the common lot next to Walgreens.

Super cute interior with comfy chairs in waiting area. Pillows on the booths, comfy! Yummy food, fast service. Had the Dan Dan noodles and side salad. Really impressed by the fresh veggies and romaine lettuce cabbage mix - no iceburg here. The Dan Dan noodles are spicy and rich, fried chicken crispy and perfectly cooked. Next time I'll get some baos, but good noodles! Paired with an Austin sunset, really hit the spot for dinner tonight.

Very bland and watery taro, not sweet at all maybe the worst taro I've had. I will not be coming here again to say the least.
