Backspin texas Sports Bar & Grill

Food was pretty good. I got the Texas Philly cheesesteak. The cheesesteak itself was great, but the chips on the side were very bland. Waitress was super responsive. There were lots of TVs inside, making it a great spot to watch some sports games. I would come back, but maybe ask for extra seasoning on my chips. I definitely needed the side of ranch.

We were the first customers in here at 11am on a Sunday. Ordered the Chicken Philly with chips and my only real complaint is that there wasn't much taste to the Philly or the chips it came with. The whole meal was a little bland. The water also tasted a little odd like there was a little too much chlorine or some other chemical. The server was very nice and polite and the food came out fast. There are also plenty of televisions in the bar to watch pretty much whatever sports game you want so this would be a great place for some Sunday football. Neat place and not super expensive.

I've eaten heard a number of times and enjoyed the food. The staff has always been friendly. I had a chicken fried steak as their special. I was disappointed with the cut of meat they used. Not tender. The batter and gravy were good. French fries were ok. Beer was good as they have a good selection.

My husband and I stopped in to watch some Sunday football. I recommend getting there early, because seats do fill up pretty quickly. We arrived shortly after 12 and were lucky to get a seat inside. They have plenty of TVs with a majority of NFL games on. They had 4.50 mimosas, screwdrivers, and bloody Mary's. We ordered two cocktails, both basic but good, and a Rueben sandwich, which I enjoyed. Overall, a good experience with good service.

There is a lot of potential and it's set up great inside with a lot of TVs, great sound. Just a fantastic spot for watching sports, especially college football. I'll say it again, I want to love this place and I want them to improve.But, two main issues: 1) the service is bad, and that's probably a management issue in terms of adequately being prepared for busy days. But I've also been there when it was pretty empty and there is always a certain degree of apathy from staff.2) the food is mediocre. That really bums me out because I love bar/pub/sports bar food, and I'm sure most of the stuff is passable to kids that come after baseball practice, but most of the apps, sandwiches, salads, wings, fries, chips, are just not very good. Not terrible, but it's the kinda thing where you ask somebody how it is, and you'll get answers of "yeah, it's okay man" or "sure, does the job". I wish they would improve in this regard.I want to love this place, and they do have a good selection of cold beers...but I'd be pretty embarrassed to have someone visiting me and say, oh yeah, I have a good spot to watch some football. couldn't bring myself to do it.

Pleasantly surprised at the service and speed on a NFL Sunday afternoon! My fiancé and I wanted wings to much on during our game day tv binge. We're new to the area so didn't know where to go.Backspin gave me a 20 minute pickup estimate. Wings and Irish nachos were ready right on time.Irish nachos (fries) and the lemon pepper/hot wings were great. They obviously make the wings by splitting up the entire wing in house bc the end pieces often are broken but it's not a big deal. I'm a bit of a wuss so I won't get the inferno flavor but I wish the Buffalo hot was a bit spicier. Lol...The lemon pepper flavoring is great! Carrots and celery come with order. For a little under $20

Wow -- this place is bad. I was a server myself for years in highschool/college and always try to sympathize when I dine out. Rarely do I give a tip lower than 20% because I understand not everything is under their control, I'm pretty easy to impress (just show face at least once every 10 minutes and we're golden). I couldn't tip this guy more than $5. The waiter I'm referring to is the bald dude with the beard. With only 2 tables on his side of the floor (including us), I had to order from the bar once, and was waited on at one point by who I assume was the floor manager (younger black dude, nice guy). I ordered the "house made" chips to eat while drinking some beers, and they were pretty clearly straight out of a bag, or made atleast several hours prior. Cold and stale. 3 draft michelobs and a $5 basket of garbo chips... $22 + tax. In a word: Shitty. Do better, or do us all a favor and end your lease so we can get a decent sports bar in the area. At least I didn't leave still wondering why we were one of 4 groups seated on a Friday night.

I will just let the picture speak for the experience. Unfortunately, I was with clients and did not want to complain. This was the worst burger I have eaten in a very long time. I can't believe the kitchen would serve this and they still charged for it.

TLDR: Pretty solid sports bar with good food and great service. Came here to watch some of the games on this past Saturday. Overall, I would say I had an above average experience. They let me have one of the channels changed over, and service overall was very attentive. For food, I had a Chicken Sandwich. It was above average, but wasn't really anything to write home about. It was certainly good enough it didn't detract from the experience. All things considered, I'd put this place as a solid 3.75/5. Would Recommend.

TVs food and vibe of a general sports bar. Beer is cold and the water is wet. Service is pretty cool.
