Austin Kolache & Koffee Shoppe

Don't have much time for this review, and if this was the only time service was bad, I may give more than one star. Now then...1. I get there around 7:40am, so they've been open for less than an hour. The counter lady is chatting away with the customer ahead of me for a few minutes....no biggie, but....2. Right when the customer leaves and the phrase "Sausage and Cheese Kolache" comes out of my mouth, a guy from the back walks in and proceeds to take all the sausage and cheese kolaches, of which there were 4 left. So when this phrase finally gets out of my headshe says "we re out. There's a phone order"me "but I'm right here in person"her "hehehe"....not even a sorrySo nevermind that this is directly because of her talking up the previous customer, but less than an hour after you open you run out? really??3. OK, brush it off, very annoying but I'm sure I can find something else for my wife....ham and swiss, so I order that, along with one other kolache and some other egg/cheese/sausage ball/whatever thing. She rings it up and says something like "$13-whatever", I say can I please see that order....after a sec she gets back to the itemized list, and she's double-charging me for one of the kolaches.To which she says "I didn't do that, I don't know why that happened." No sorry, no responsibility, nothing. After several minutes of her trying to figure out how to cancel the order or remove the extra charge (don't bother asking someone in the back for help), I tell her I'll come back later and walk out.I won't be coming back. Too many times they're out, or they have bad service. There's plenty of other places I can spend my money.

Took a few minutes for the employee to come out of the back/kitchen after we walked in the door around midday. We asked for one of all the kolaches (they included cinnamon rolls and twists as kolaches). Everything was put in one box - 2 layers of kolaches. The kolaches were just okay, nothing I would go back to get again.

Locally owned. They get all their meats from another local business, Hudson's meat market. I'm so happy they are open on Sunday now! This was the perfect way to cap off a weekend after getting home from a river trip. There are so many more that I want to try that we will certainly be back. And they're in the neighborhood. I love supporting our local community.

I ordered from their online toast menu, they took my money, but they were not open during their posted business hours. I tried calling both the business's phone number and the number on a "help wanted" sign, left messages, and got no response. I will end up having to cancel the charge through my bank. Do not patronize this business!

Overall solid kolaches! Really enjoyed the sausage and cheese. The breakfast sausage, egg and cheese one was fine. There was more bread to filling location didn't think it was worth it.Heads up the pictures of the front is different. If you see a pizza sign you're in the right place.

Great service and super nice staff. Place was very clean too. The food was excellent, I'll be back to try something else soon.

This place is the absolute definition of a hidden gem, almost literally. I actually had a really tough time finding this place and got confused a lot. It's pretty hidden overall. But once you find it, you will be rewarded. I got the sausage kolaches which were great and everything you would hope and expect. BUT the star of the show was the bacon and cheese klobasnek!!! I took it home to enjoy and may have burned it a little in the Air fryer (don't judge me). But it was still amazing! The bread itself is so soft and fluffy and it's like something you want to sleep on, but not really because you want to eat it. Highly recommend getting one when you check this place out!

I was very happy with these kolaches! The kolache had real sausage and the jalapeño flavor had a great kick to it. The bread is very soft and the flavor is great. I really enjoyed the desert kolache - I ordered the apple flavor and it tasted like a mini apple pie! Recommend this location! It is a little noticeable that the owner is stern with the young worker at the front. Additionally the owner forgot about the coffee i ordered for quite a while. Other than that great experience.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. They still had a good variety of kolaches and pastries left too. I got served immediately and got the jalapeño cheddar kolache as well as a ham and Swiss one. Both were really good especially when warmed. I liked to kick of heat from the jalapeños and the bread was fluffy and fresh. Overall pretty solid kolaches and I definitely see myself returning.

Very disappointed by the gentleman working behind the counter today 1/7 @2:04 P.M. I went to pick up my order from " Too good to go" and he seemed so upset to have to be at work today. He shoved kolaches in my bag very rudely and his customer service was subpar. I will not be returning to this shop ever and will be sure to pass them up on the " too good to go" app. In the end I am a paying customer regardless if I am purchasing through another vendor.
