The bed frame and table were wobbly. There's no coffee maker in the room either.

Great location in East Austin! The address is on 6th Street but the main entrance and valet is actually on Chicon Street. The lobby is small and simple. The lady at the front desk was prompt and friendly and took 3 minutes to check me in. I had a studio room which was very spacious for my 2 night, solo stay. The room was modern and clean. There's a mini fridge filled with goodies for purchase. There is a small, open hanging closet plus drawers underneath the TV cabinet. The safe is also located in the cabinet under the TV. There is a table/booth seating area that's perfect for eating meals or just lounging around. The bed was comfy and clean and there were curtains to cover the large windows. My room was facing 6th Street, across from Whisler's Bar. It was definitely loud on a Saturday night, so be wary of that if you need peace and quiet to sleep. I'm deducting one star from this review because I had 2 issues during my stay. I had booked a 2 night/3 day stay and on my 2nd day there I got a phone call in the afternoon, from the front desk, telling me that I was supposed to check out at 11am but my luggage was still in the room. I had booked this hotel through my Chase travel credit card/website so I had to forward them this confirmation to confirm I was booked for an additional day. Thankfully they didn't pack my things up and let me remain in the same room for an additional night. The 2nd issue I had was on the day I was checking out. I was still in bed at 9:30am, awake thankfully, when a staff member opened my door and was surprised to see me and stated that he was told my room was vacated this morning. He quickly left but then 10 minutes later, a housekeeper let herself into the room and also stated she was told I was gone. Why those two didn't communicate to each other that I was still in the room was very irritating. I was paranoid the whole time I was in the shower and getting ready, that someone else would barge in. FYI - I also had the do not disturb sign outside my door, since the night before, so that seemed completely useless. Overall, the rooms are great - spacious, super clean, and modern - I would probably stay here again. The miscommunication three times during my 2 night stay was irritating to me but overall I felt safe here and the staff remained friendly and accommodating.

I love the hotel. It's eclectic, the colors are great, it's clean. The shower is large and amazing, the hand and body products don't have an overwhelming smell. I love the heavy curtains that shut out the light. The elevator is quiet and quick. They even have a small restaurant and bar area. The person that checked me in was very nice and helpful and tried to answer questions about the neighborhood in a diplomatic way. Be careful if you're out walking around. If you go in one direction you appear to be in a not so nice area, however the murals are something to see.

On our most recent visit to Austin, we stayed at the ARRIVE Austin, and we really enjoyed the hotel. We went for a 3 night stay, that ended up being a 4 night because of a cancelled flight. We opted for the 'kinda suite' and this room was well worth the small price upgrade over a standard room because it was huge! The dining room area and tv was a nice separate spot to eat n chill. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was one of the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel room. The walk in shower was unnecessarily large, it really could use a second shower head. The bath tub was huge as well. While there's a couple restaurants and cafes attached to this boutique hotel, they didn't have a vending machine or place to buy water bottles. The only sold sparkling water. We ended drinking the $8 glass bottle in the mini bar. It was freezing out, so we ended up getting beverages delivered from an app. The location itself was great. Very walkable to many restaurants and bars, and if you didn't feel like walking a short 5 minute ride share to downtown Austin. We enjoy walking, so getting to different places was a breeze. The staff here was super nice and they give a single complimentary drink coupon when you check-in. Overall, really enjoyed this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I ever visit Austin

We stayed at ARRIVE for two nights earlier this month, and I can't recommend it. What I did like: The room was nice (very cool, minimalist, and modern). The location worked for us (we were able to walk to brunch and dinner at places we had reservations to meet friends at). The building itself was cool. But see below for why I wasn't impressed (style over substance/comfort for sure). What I didn't like:(1) The noise. Yes, I think some noise is to be expected in this location. You might even be staying here because of the proximity to bars. But the building is not soundproofed well at all, and we heard noise until 2am from some place nearby that had a DJ. I had to use a white noise app on my phone to be able to get any sleep. (2) The party vibes gone bad. I think their clientele likely leans really young. I'm young-ish, but I'm old enough that I don't want to stay in a hotel with disrespectful and very drunk guests. There was vomit in the elevator bank when we returned from a morning walk on Saturday morning. I let the staff know by text ASAP but it was still there when we went back out 20-30 minutes later (maybe even longer), so I texted again (and "FYI it's still there) which they didn't reply to. It was gone when we returned after brunch. (3) The customer service wasn't great. When we returned from a dinner with friends on our last night, we drove up to valet but there wasn't anyone there. When we went inside, we learned that the hotel staff working at the front desk had left his car in the valet pull up, which blocked the valet staff from being able to park anyone else's car. Once he figured out where his car could be parked, it was moved and we could valet and go upstairs, but it was weird and he didn't apologize for the inconvenience or anything. Just weird (wonder if staff often park in the valet spot at night but it rarely interferes with anyone parking?). (We didn't have any other issues with staff when we were there, but there wasn't always a staff person at the front desk, so we didn't have as much interaction with them as we might have had at another hotel.)(4) Way too expensive given everything above. Our subtotal for two nights was a little over $800 (and that doesn't include the parking/valet fees). I've had much better experiences at hotels that are way more affordable than this. I definitely wish I had chosen to stay elsewhere - especially for how much we paid. Cannot recommend and definitely wouldn't stay again.

BIG SHOUTOUT to SHANNTEL! She's the best bartender in Austin! Her service is exceptional--fast, delicious, and beautiful cocktails. I highly recommend visiting her. The ambiance is very chill--perfect for conversations, work, or a night out with your girls!#FIVESTARS

I highly recommend staying in Arrive if you're coming to Austin. It's clean and beautiful plus they have great spacious rooms. The staff was nice and helped with any questions I had. I love that there is a coffee shop right next door and was able to get my coffee before starting our day as well as other places around the area to eat. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Austin but I will also be staying at other ARRIVE locations they have as I love their vibe.Valet is $30 a night but there is parking available in the neighborhood if you want to save money, just a friendly tip.

Very modern, clean, and chic, but with downsides. We are only staying one night and I was looking for a hotel that is not run down, clean, and with basic amenities. Arrive had all of them. I love the design of the room - so neat and chic. There was even a Marshall speaker to use while getting ready. The bathroom was also very clean which was a plus. However, the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear your neighbors talking and moving around. Second, nothing in the mini bar is free - not even the water - so you will have to ask for a "cup" of water from the front desk or bring in your own. Finally, valet was a steep $38 a day. Overall, for one night it is not bad, but these issues have to be looked into if they want guests to stay longer.

Pros: Great locationFriendly staffGood communication Nice roomsCons:Parking feeLoved this place. Check in was easy. Even before I arrived, I received a text asking for my ETA. We found the place easy. The valet took our car and we went to check in. While waiting for our room, they have us complimentary drinks. The room:Spacious. Clean. The room has a very Austin vibe. I loved the old school appliances. The fridge is super cute. The bed was comfy. Kind of small to share with another friend, but comfy enough. The room has a nice seating area with a table. The bathroom is big. Toiletries included shampoo, conditions, body wash, lotion. Instead of an iron, they have a steamer. Parking: available on site, but there's a charge. I think all the hotels in that area will be the same. The hotel is located super close to 6th street and venues like the paramount theater. It's about a 15 min walk to the heart of 6th street. You can find restaurants as soon as you walk out of the hotel, aside from the one in the hotel. There's also a brewery 2 min walk away.
