Well. This place changed my concept of not liking fusion style food. My son and I came here and had itchy salmon and furikake fries. Superb. Then I had the poke and my son had the burger I forgot which one, and excellent portion! Yummy everything! Ambience and service were excellent! Con: paid $17 parking? Not sure if that's the norm. Another pro: military discount!

Checked out Anthem in Austin and tried The Cure--an awesome combo of most of their appetizers, perfect for sharing with 4-5 people. I also had the Lychee Lowdown, and it was fantastic--not too sweet, just right. Great spot for fun bites and drinks! We went on a Saturday night and it was dead. With that being said, since it was slow, service was also a bit slow.

Being from Chicago, we wanted something different from what we could find at home. Stopped in while visiting Austin for their happy hour menu. We ordered the char buff cauliflower, brisket rangoon, salmon poke, and jfc popcorn chicken. The menu overall is so unique and the collision of unique ingredients, flavors, and texture made it very enjoyable. I mean where else can you find a bbq brisket and cream cheese in a crispy wonton? That said, we didn't really like the salmon poke - was way too salty. The server happily took it off and got us something else. We were here during Thanksgiving week so we practically had the place to ourselves. Service was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anthem for those looking for a unique food option in downtown Austin.

Absolutely love this spot. We got a booth for happy hour which had a great selection of dishes and drinks. Service was top notch. Super friendly. The menu is super interesting. The combination of Tex mex and Asian flavors is so interesting. Nothing is overpowering, the flavors gel together beautifully. They play good tunes and there's lots of different spaces for different occasions. Highly recommend a visit.

I don't remember how we found Anthem, but man were we glad we did. First this place is huge with different sections. We sat outside so we say a few seating areas. Our server was great! Gave us some suggestions based on what we were craving. Can we talk about the vibe and decor? So cute!! And this is not JUST one of those IG places -- the food matches the vibe. SOOO good. From the apps, to the meal, to the drinks. Everything was so well flavored, I still think about this place.

Anthem on Rainey street is always a go-to spot anytime I'm near the area and craving a great meal! The atmosphere has the perfect balance of fun and laid-back, making it an ideal spot for both a casual bite or grabbing drinks before going out. On my recent visits, I've been seated right away with no wait, but it does get busier during peak dinner times on the weekends. It has both a spacious interior and a covered patio. Great cocktails and delicious, flavorful food dishes. The service is friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about here!

I've been to Anthem a few times now for work business dinners, always a fun vibe in the heart of downtown Austin to bring the energy and excitement of a gathering of groups to this experience of a tiki/polynesian experience of food offerings on Rainey. The space and atmosphere is always such a beautiful space, the menu and service top notch and the servers are always extremely knowledgeable about all items on menu, accommodations for all dietary restrictions heard and acknowledged and even most importantly, the drinks gorgeous, fun themed and strong. The coastal shrimp + aloha burger + salmon are my picks along with the giant appetizer sampler, both the meat and veg options, such a fun presentation and great for a group to pick at and nom together. Parking is street or lot parking so you'll have to find a place to pay, but other than that, it is downtown and Rainey, which significantly means a bit of a walk, but if you're in the area, this is a great spot to dine, and mosey around! Looking forward to the next time we return and enjoy ourselves with good food and drinks!

My mai tai came out in a Chinese take out container. Very cute and tasty. Had the brisket wantons for app and they were very cream cheesy and not so much brisket but they were good. My aloha burger with the grilled pineapple was very good. I got the truffle sauce on the side and ditched that in favor of they had 2 other homemade dips... spicy something and a ranch.. Oli would ask for those. The sweet potato waffle fries were a little too skinny so seemed a little well done. Good taste though.

Anthem was such a yummy place for dinner and drinks on New Years Eve. The place had a bunch of reservations but we were able to snag a couple seats at the bar. Loved the vibe and the multitude of drink and food options for vegetarian. We ordered the shishito pepper queso, char buff cauliflower and fries and that was quite a bit of food for 2 ppl. They had a tv streaming college football which was a plus and the staff was so great and helpful working on a holiday. In total with drinks, was around $75 with tip! We'll definitely be back!

Food was delicious. The fried cauliflower was BOMB. The salmon dish was so flavorful. Blood orange margarita was so nice. Definitely try it. (Be careful with parking across the street. It's expensive and they WILL send you a ticket if you are there too long.
