What a cool location with other food trucks. Conveniently located next to the hotel if you need to use the bathroom. The spot has a few picnic tables shared with the other food trucks.Ordering is quick and easy with a simple menu. The combo plate had a good ratio of meat to rice and was flavorful with the white and hot sauce. It really hit the spot, give the plate a good mix before your first bite.

This halal food truck on 5th Street is sooo good. I had the combo (gyro + chicken) rice plate and it was delicious. We also got fries, which were coated in red and white sauce. These fries were very tasty as well. My friend had the gyro wrap, which she liked. I do not like how they don't list the prices on the menu. It was $14, which is good because the portion was so big. I ate it all, but it could (and should) be two meals worth of food.

I flew in late to Austin and most of the restaurants were closed. I was supper excited to have a gryo though. The meat is great--salty, charred on the flat top and soft in the middle. The combination of the white sauce and hot sauce was perfect. I also ordered a kafta Plat with rice. Everything had so much flavor. The rice is seasoned and has mediterranean spices. The kafta was great. I would definitely eat here again.

Oh man. I think it's the best falafel I've ever had. Perfect after a night of trolling the 6th Street bars. Highly recommended.

This place is right across the street from Antone's and an absolute lifesaver. I went to a show the other night and they weren't serving food, but we were starved. This place was open thankfully and it was so so good. Good price point for each menu item and generous amount of white sauce. Loved that there were good veggies in the salad and the chicken was moist. The wait was pretty quick and they had seating for us to wait at.

Great gyro spot! Was dropping off a friend nearby when I got a hankering for a lamb gyro and when I searched, it turned out that I was just a couple of blocks away from here. The menu is being updated for prices, but the lamb/chicken combo gyro I had was $9 and the fries were $5. The ordering was friendly and paying easy with the tap option. Order took like 10 minutes. I decided to eat in my car because I had a feeling I was going to need privacy. I did! Everything was so good! Super soft pita loaded with meat, veggies and sauce. It was messy and beautiful. The fries were crispy and tasty with the ketchup and white sauce combo. Kind of like the ketchup mayo that you get in south America. Putting this one with my top gyro spots in ATX.Update:Just visited again after a couple of months and everything was just as delicious. Got a combo over rice this time and it was loaded! Had them add their spicy sauce and it was so worth it! Not ridiculously hot, with lots of tangy flavor. Worth it!

Yes, please! Great lamb and chicken. Hits the spot!The falafel is just OK so skip that; everything else is really tasty.

This truck is sad. I ordered the Gyro plate. The meat tasted like it had been boiled, then frozen and reheated. Portion was pretty weak. The hummus ($7.00 lol) was in a container the guy literally pulled out of a freezer and threw in my bag with a piece of pita that was around from the Cold War. Again, the pita was frozen solid. Nice effort guys, really...bravo!

Now parked in North Loop neighborhood. Guy was nice but he came in from smoking a cigarette and didn't wash his hands or put on gloves (until the very end, after preparing the food.) Tons of sweat beads on his forehead -- I get it, it's hot, but at least wipe them off before making the order?!? Asked multiple times what was included / not included in the order and then got it wrong.
