Shak and his team do a wonderful job - the food is consistently tasty and they clearly prepare it all from scratch. I have been 3 or 4 times - they just started doing lunch buffets, and will have to check that out at some point. The biryani is delightful, and their curries are top notch. Try the dum biryani (bone in chicken)! Their mango lassi is also delicious and perfectly cooling for when the spiciness hits me a bit hard haha.Pro tip: don't forget to try the Double Ka Meeta dessert - if you save some room! It's their specialty (and quite delicious)!!

Food is spicy and good.Don't expect too much on ambience.Service is timely and attentive.More of a delivery kitchen, than a dine in.

We visited for the breakfast buffet and our experience was very different from others. They seem to do North Indian dishes better than the South Indian flavors. My husband is Tamil and he was underwhelmed. The food was limited variety in buffet, they were slow to refill claiming they had run out, and the food was sitting cold despite being kept on burners it seemed.

This place really does hold a candle to the more well known Indian restaurants like Sangam! The restaurant itself is hidden in a tiny nook in a strip mall but the food here is delicious. We also really appreciated the kindness of the people working there. This will be one of our go-to from now on whenever we are craving yummy Indian food!

A local favorite and literal hidden gem. Located in an unassuming plaza of ethnic food (delicious asian and Mediterranean food nearby), Aha delivers delicious authentic Indian food at an affordable price. The staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Can't go wrong with the palek paneer, chicken tikka masala, and the tandoori chicken (the whole chicken order takes 20 minutes to prepare but it is absolutely worth it.

Hidden gem way in the back of the strip mall, I got some butter chicken to go and was very pleasantly surprised. Normally when I order butter chicken, there's not enough heat level to go around to cut through the richness, but there's definitely a kick in the back of your throat when you dive into the luscious sauce. Chicken isn't dry at all and paired with some garlic naan, is the way to scoop, dip and eat your way to paradise. Take out order was super prompt. Definitely want to come back to try more.

A friend recommended this place for the lunch buffet and was a little disappointed by the lack of variety. There was about maybe 9 dishes to choose from. The food tasted pretty good but the variety and supply of it was lacking. The curry I tried was good but the rice was a little dry. I'd be willing to give this place another try but it's a hard to recommend this place.

Oh how I wish you guys were closer to our neighborhood. Really good food served here. Service was great too. Aha is on the other side of town for us but worth the trip if you want authentic Indian food. We may have to stop by again soon. Generous portions

To begin my meal here, my friend and I got the Onion Pakoda and the Aloo Samosas. When I tell you I never want to eat onions another way, I mean it. If you are a fan of onion rings or bloomed onions, you have got to give these a try. They are a bit spicy but I did not mind it. The seasoned batter and crunch pairs very well with the sweet and soft onions. So, I have made it a personal mission to try chicken tikka masala at every Indian restaurant in Austin. I have tried it from many places, but I have to tell you that this was the most delicious tikka masala I have ever eaten. The chicken was beautifully cooked and seasoned, the sauce itself was not too spicy and had that iconic acidic sweetness. Not pictured is the tandoori half chicken. The tandoori half chicken is a seasoned chicken on the bone. This was the best chicken I have ever eaten. You can tell it was marinated very well because the seasoning colors the entire flesh of the chicken, nearly to the bone. So every bite you take was a tender flavor bomb. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, and I will be returning very often. (For the food, and the very kind servers) If you come, I highly recommend getting the tandoori chicken half, and the onion pakoda. (As well as whatever curry you'd enjoy, I doubt anything from here will let you down)

I really enjoyed Aha Indian Restaurant and I will be back! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our visit there and they have live Pani Puri as well. This was our first time having Pani Puri and we discovered that it costed us $7 total (would have been good to know beforehand). The mango lassi is creamy and delicious, what you would expect the mango lassi to taste like. The garlic naan is decent, but I think you can skip on it. Service wise they were very quick with everything and the staff was phenomenal. They are very kind and explain how to eat things when you don't know (first time having pani puri so we needed the explanation) and they don't make you feel silly for not knowing. The ambiance was very nice, you can tell that the place is clean and homey. Overall, we would come back and the palak paneer and chicken are both great options!
