3 Hermanas Taqueria

I work at a nearby office complex which has a cafe that makes "breakfast tacos" (HEAVY emphasis on the quotes) for $4.50 a pop and knew there had to be something else that was better, but didn't think I would find something close that was not only better, but cheaper, AND some of the BEST & most authentic breakfast tacos I've ever had. For just $3 you can get their migas tacos with an added protein of your choice, so in total that's $3 for a breakfast taco that includes eggs, tortilla strips, pico, cheese, and meat.. and they don't skimp out on the portions here whatsoever. The chorizo is delicious and well-seasoned, the bacon is nice and tender and juicy and is chopped & sprinkled allll over the taco, the cheese is always melted over the whole thing, and something that's subtle but a big indicator on quality/authenticity: the flour tortillas are cooked briefly on the grill-top to give them that nice golden brown char here and there. I seriously can't stress enough: the quality, quantity, and cost (the holy Trinity in my book) is all there. Yes, it is cash only, but if there's just one reason to carry some cash in your pocket, let this place be it.

*cash onlyI decided to give their breakfast tacos a try, and I appreciated the friendly service. The location near other popular food trucks made it a convenient stop, and the outdoor atmosphere was enjoyable, especially with benches and shade available. However, the tacos, particularly the Pastor, weren't my absolute favorites. I'd rate the Migas taco at 4 stars and the Pastor taco at 3 stars (total $5).

*CASH ONLY*I had the bacon egg and cheese taco and I liked it. The bacon added the necessary amount of salt needed and their green salsa added a bit of zing and acidity to it. Cheese melts quick too, making a satisfying texture.The service was plain and simple, just how I like it. Not the biggest fan of small talk.The ambiance was pretty alright, they have some wooden picnic tables around some of the other food trucks here.

Pretty mediocre breakfast tacos. Really didn't care for the red salsa. I sincerely hope they improve, but in the meanwhile, There are better choices nearby.

Good not great. Very hard to be a standout in today's ever-growing and creative world of tacos. The prices were reasonable. The service was okay. I enjoyed being able to see the cook do her thing while I waited. I ordered the migas, barbacoa, and campechano tacos. They all lacked salt and lime would have helped, but none available. Of those, if I had to choose, the best would be the migas. Will I return? Possibly, when visiting my son.

I arrived at the service counter to find no hermanas, only hermanOs. I asked where the ladies were, and he said they were working elsewhere. Oh well. He made no attempt to be friendly or welcoming as I placed my order for 2 migas tacos, sans chips (I don't like the way they turn gushy on a hot taco), on flour tortillas. They give you a convenient beeper that goes off when your order is ready, which gave me a chance to explore the other nearby trucks' menus (BBQ, Thai, coffee, falafel, burgers, etc.). The tortillas are not home-made, but of good quality, and not too thick. The migas were pretty good, but I had big pieces of egg whites interspersed, so apparently they weren't fully scrambled. He included a small red salsa, and 1 green. I am a big fan of creamy green salsas so I asked him for 3 more green. After giving me the stink-eye he gave me only 1 more. Really??? I would have paid for the extra salsa but apparently that option as not available. I checked the salsas and they were only 1/2 full to begin with, so I don't understand his attitude. Seems customer service is not his forte. The red sauce was too heavy on the vinegar and the green was a bit salty (so I recommend not salting your food in advance). The menu is rather short on meat choices: they do not offer picadillo or chicken tinga, for instance. They also don't offer any fried corn tortilla options like crispy tacos, tostadas, or flautas, nor any enchiladas, so I'd only (sorta) recommend this place for breakfast tacos. Personally, there are so many truck options now for Mexican food, I'll go elsewhere next time.P.S. It's "Cash Only" at this truck.

I only tried the migas. It was outstanding! This place is an outdoor area with Thai, bbq, hotdog and falafel trailers. It has pickup benches and small dinosaurs for kids to play on.

staying in a hotel close by and a search revealed this place. Outstanding tacos and I highly recommend!!! Picnic tables out front to sit down and eat

*NOTE: CASH ONLY, YEP EVEN DURING COVID*Though 3 Hermanas Taqueria only accepts cash, it's worth every bit! 3 Hermanas is located in an obscure food truck court, with tiny picnic tables in the vicinity. Though, easy to miss, they have some of the best authentic breakfast tacos. THEY GIVE ME LIFE.What to get? ANYTHING. My favorite? The Migas or The Chorizo and Egg Breakfast Tacos. Salsa? Stock up on the creamy Jalapeño! Trust me, you don't need to know anything more except THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!!
