"We ordered from DoorDash. Good gracious, the food is exceptional. They opened up a brick-and-mortar bar next to the food truck recently. The tacos are somewhat pricey for street tacos ($6-7ish, but maybe that is inflated by DoorDash) - however, they are large, filling, and pack a robust flavor punch.I tried the shrimp taco and a bite of the migas taco - outstanding. The chicken quesadilla is also well-seasoned and delicious. The staff was incredibly kind (the gentleman in the truck asked me to wait for my order inside their bar, as it was quite cold outside), and the food was ready quite quickly :)"
"Now that I've moved away from Austin, I really miss Miguel and Zelma's Sonora hot dog."
"The food is incredible, high quality and delicious. My favorites are the mixed plate and falafel gardenia plate. Also, the owner is really nice and friendly. We love this food truck so much!"
"I just became vegan earlier this week & been craving a burger so I found Arlo's late night (11 PM) for my first vegan cheeseburger ever. Nice to have the crave-able options!Actually enjoyed the 'Bac'N Cheeze Burger.' The taste was excellent with the twang of mustard & you couldn't honestly tell it was vegan except that the bacon seemed kinda wimpy. I also thought the additional condiments were way too minimal instead of ample. Where's the crispy lettuce??? I don't have any at all on my take-out burger, maybe it was forgotten? A small thin tomato only two lame mutilated pickles (my fav) weren't enough. Guess next time I'll know to ask for extra.Wins: overall size & taste of burger & the ample dose of perfectly made tater tots. Plus crew friendliness & service & speed with fair prices.Cons: condiment amounts & bacon weren't anything to crow about. No air conditioning (it's outside & hot in TX). One ketchup isn't enough for the awesome tots portion, 2 would be perfect.Overall I'd go back & get a double, & hopefully raise my star rating."
"The best horchata and breakfast tacos in Austin and also in my life!! Upbeat atmosphere with ample seating inside and out! They also have a whole bar and happy hour which I will come back to try ! Service is always quick and friendly and seriously You cannot leave here without the horchata!"
"Best churros in Austin!!Lots of dipping sauce options with seasonal specials that are always delicious and so fun to try.It is a good truck but there is plenty of outdoor seating all the time and the staff are always incredibly friendly.I always try to visit when I get the chance!"
"This food truck was awesome. I was so excited to see good vegan tacos. I've never found a vegan taco that had actual heat until I came to this place. The staff were very nice and let me know they made the vegan meat from mushrooms. We experienced the food truck, not the restaurant, but the food in this mobile option was top-notch."
"This was a fantastic spot for breakfast! I came here with my friends and had an amazing time. The tacos were packed with flavor, freshly made, and absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the seasoning was just right. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to start the day. I'll definitely be coming back!"
"I ordered the Picanha Grelhada from DoorDash and was thoroughly impressed! Good portion size, very tender and flavorful steak, the fried egg had a perfectly runny yolk, and the vinaigrette added a zingy contrast. Thought this was a good price for everything I was getting."
"Awesome food. Large portion that's tinder and has great flavor. A must try!!! Whenever I come back to Austin this is a must stop for me."
"My gosh these were SUCH a hit after a recent night out. Cinnamon sugar donuts with caramel AND chocolate dipping sauce was my choice, my friend got lemon-blueberry and we were both super happy to have a late night snack (plus leftovers for breakfast, a double win!)."
"Wow! Food was bussin!! Service was quick and what a cute food truck. We ordered the Loma saltado and woah the steak used here was flavored to perfection not a bite was left of this plate. We also got the ceviche which was great and traditional, the perfect combo of fish and crunchy with the yucca chips, it could have more chips added to the plate but still amazing!"

"Stopped in for a meal, and I am very glad I did. It was the best brisket I have ever had, very tender and delicious. The sausage links tasted very fresh and the flavors were very nice. The BBQ sauce has a nice sweet taste which paired well with the pickles and the meat. They also use local ingredients! The man behind the counter was friendly and provided nice service. Outside area was nice, lots of trees for shade. I would definitely return again and bring some friends with me next time to share the goodness."
"Not sure if it's Cat with a C or K but she couldn't have been sweeter just like her delightful desserts! I had a sugar craving and I didn't want the heaviness of a cookie or cake nor ice cream and this was the perfect find! I got the Texas Two Step cuz I'm a nut and toffee addict, perfect crunch! Love that you can also do a half or whole 'nana but I definitely got the whole! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!"
"I get this place on Uber eats all the time, and it is always hot, fresh and delicious. It's one of the more reasonably priced halal options and probably the best halal I've had from a food truck."
"BEST mango lassi I've ever had. Paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, samosas and chutney were absolutely delicious. The owner is super sweet! Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. One of the best spots for Indian food in Austin!"
"Best Al pastor tacos I've ever had. Service is great and fast. Try the lime water it's delicious!"
"This local food truck serves really good jamaican food at a conveninent location. Street parking only, and there are a few tables nearby. Food was cooked right then and there, so there was a little bit of a wait. We went early in the morning when it opened so they did not have their Beef Patties yet, be warned!Food we got:- oxtail large plate: oxtail was super tender, but I felt like it was a little small (4/5)- jerk chicken large plate: I was shocked to find out that I enjoyed this dish way more! The chicken was super tender and juicy! The flavor profile was perfect, came back for seconds (5/5)Personally, I felt like the portion was a little small for the price. The cabbage was delicious, but they were more rice heavy."
"Delicious, ample tacos! Friendly service too. It was well worth the wait. Check this food truck out when you're nearby."
"Service was quick & woman working the truck had an amazing personality! Food was okay, was not a fan of the sausage at all & picked it all out. Biscuits great, soft and hot. Gravy didn't have much flavor, so glad I had jalapeños and stuff on here to try and balance out."
"So this is a food truck and they have a cute little outdoor seating area. They were so nice there and you want to recommend. Also very polite they would tell you thank you and you're welcome for anything which I found very appreciative of them.We got a mix of meats. Also, some sides and it came with pickles, jalapeños, and pickled onions, which were phenomenal. In my opinion that they should sell these pickles by the jar. I will say the ribs were delicious the meat which is fall off of the bone. The brisket was so good and they were very thick slices. I have to say the sausage is OK was a little dry for me but the seasonings and it was good. We also got turkey breast. I didn't try it, but my friends said that it was really nice and smoked flavored. As for the sides, we got the mac & cheese, which was really good tasting cheese, but I do feel the mac & cheese needed a little bit more flavor. This street corn was good and very flavorful. Lastly, they do give you barbecue sauce. It was sweet and tangy, which was really good. I am more of a spicy barbecue person. I don't know if they had any since I didn't ask, but that would be my only consideration having a spicy barbecue sauce.I would definitely go again and try one of their sandwiches and other sides as well so definitely if you're in the area I would go check them out because they are really good barbecue."
"KG's Chef Kareem El-Ghayesh isn't dubbed the "Lamb Ambassador of Texas" for nothing! The lamb dishes are definitely the highlight at KG. Both the chops and shoulders are out of this world.Parking in the lot is hit or miss, but there are plenty street parking options across from the truck. You order, then grab a table outside between the truck and Oddwood, wait, then enjoy! The first time we tried KG, we tired everything - brisket, ribs, lamb, but the lamb stood out the most and that's what we ended up always turning to every time we revisit KG. The lamb bowl is amazing! As sides go, salad is always a good option to cut through all the richness of the meats, potato salad is also good, and get the side of rice if you're not already ordering a rice bowl. Desserts were worth it too, especially the cardamom rice pudding. We'll definitely be back, especially whenever we have out-of-town visitors!"

Probably one of the best taco food trucks in Austin. They have a variety of choices and the portion is relatively big. The beef inside the street taco was very tender and tasted delicious with their verde sauce. I love the birria taco because it has a lot of fresh ingredients such as tomato, onion, avocado, etc. The tacos came out pretty quickly and it wasn't very expensive, worth a try if you are in the area!

Hot dog -T-Loc's is AMAZING! I love trying food in new, exciting forms. I never would have tried beans on my hot dog otherwise, and let me tell you, it's a game changer! The fries with aioli were perfectly sauced with just a touch of spice. My husband devoured his La Sonora and practically drank the consome. Aside from the tantalizing food, the service is next level. The woman who took our order overheard my 4 year old who would have preferred his fries sans sauce and was trying to wipe his fries off. She brought him out a small side of plain fries and ketchup out of the kindness of her heart. It's that kind of service that really sets a business apart! If you're in Austin, park your car at this food truck park and try some amazing, authentic, out-of-the-box hot dogs!

Great food and fast service! The jalapeño ranch is a must try! The chikn used tastes a bit like a veggie burger, which may have some appeal to those not ready for a full fledged meat substitute. There are some outdoor seating areas, but probably better off eating in a car during this hot weather.

Pueblo Viejo is a warm departure from Austin's often over-the-top, overly-"fusioned," inflated Mexican food scene. ("No, I don't want Mexican-Vietnamese fusion food today! Maybe on Thursday, but today I just wanna-plate of good MEXICAN food!") Pueblo Viejo delivers. The restaurant is hidden in the corner of a strip shopping center, and you may have to cruise the parking lot a minute to find it.We visited on a Saturday evening and there was only one other party dining which raised our eyebrows, but the waitress said that they usually get busy later in the evening.I ordered the Enchilada Plate. My kid ordered a Guaca Taco. The chicken enchilada was different, but in an exceptionally good way. My daughter -- who stole several bites -- and I both agreed that there were a lotta flavors going on, one of which we noted was a slight sweetness, but not overly sweet. The pico that accompanied the enchilada was also really good -- again, with a unique and memorable flavor. I didn't try her taco as I was busy working out my own plate. The restaurant and table were clean. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was reasonably priced and arrived in good time and most importantly, it was hot. This is a good find My People.

I loved the bubbly personality at the window when ordering. So welcoming and cheerful and EXCITED to take our order. Ordered one of the seasonal churros (strawberry shortcake - fresh strawberries and sauce with whip cream ) very yummy and crispy. Also ordered the traditional churro with CBD infusion and Nutella topping . Overall very pleased with the taste and price. Seating is a few picnic tables!

Rosita's is just a classic taco staple for me. I know that every time I'm going I'm getting great tacos, friendly customer service, and a good time. I love the pastor tacos here and it's always a spot I can depend on. One of my best friends who moved away from Austin was back in town visiting and the first meal she wanted was Rosita's so that's where we went and she was not disappointed.

"I ordered the woody harrelson with a beef patty instead of the veggie patty and it tasted so good! The honey mustard on it made the burger especially good. The crinkle cut fries were also very delicious! If you check in on Yelp, you get $1 off. At the time I went they had a special of adding fries as a side for $1 which is worth it!"
"This one is for the vegans... they have options and they are great. I called to ask about a few things and the owner was so helpful. I ended up with the garlic edamame, avocado vege spring roll, and the brown veggie roll. I got the brown veggie roll with soy paper as I hate seaweed; loved it! The veggie udon noodle soup was also vegan and I'm excited to try that next time. Love to support a local family business!"
"Beirut is fine dining on wheels. The problem with my review is that it will be full of superlatives to the point that you might struggle to believe me, but wow: it is so good. I had the Cubed Lamb plate today and what the flip?! So. Good. This dish is several levels above what I would expect from a food truck. I've had the chicken shawarma, and it's also mouthwateringly good. I've eaten at many middle eastern restaurants surpasses them all. This is Austin's best kept secret! Fine dining on wheels. Note: there are several cozy tables next to the truck, so there's no need to stand around while eating."
"So I have developed a halal addiction since a few weeks ago. My latest halal adventure happened while having drinks at the Low Down Lounge. Halal Time is right next door and conveniently open early. I had lamb shawarma and chicken over rice and it was so good. I was disappointed about the garbanzo beans given I had ordered it without but other than that, I was extremely satisfied with my food."
"Food is delicious, and service is fast! Migas are so yummy and the salsa is hot! Enjoy"
"Nothing says comfort food like a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich from Burro Cheese Kitchen. Artisan cheeses and breads are used to create mouth-watering masterpieces like the Long Tall Texan (aged cheddar cheese, brisket and serrano-pineapple sauce on sourdough bread) or the Waylon & Willie (gouda and cheddar cheeses, caramelized onions, peppercorns and spicy maple-bacon sauce on sourdough). The history behind the brand: The inspiration for Burro Cheese Kitchen struck when owner Justin Burrow, an Austin native, spent five years in Seattle. There, he discovered the joys of grilled cheese and got the idea of pairing various cheeses with various sauces and presenting a cheese plate dining experience as a grilled cheese sandwich. After trying out hundreds of combinations, Burro Grilled Cheese Kitchen opened its doors in 2013 and has been a solid favorite of the Austin food scene since then. The name comes from the most expensive cheese in the world, Balkan Burro cheese that goes for up to $750 per pound. If you're going to commit to making great grilled cheese sandwiches, you might as well aim to be the best of the best. What I got: Long Tall Texan- Sourdough, aged cheddar, brisket, and Serrano Pineapple sauce. This sandwich was the ideal combination of rich and savory and sweet! I shared my sandwich with Thing Two as this sandwich was a beast! The sandwich was a little tough in some aspects, but overall, it was a good showing for this food trailer!"
"Oh my goodness this place is fantastic!!! From the gyros to the dolmas, everything is fresh tasting and delicious. The food truck is a must visit for those in the area or out for a drive to Hamilton pool. PS: the food is made to order so expect a 10-15 minute wait."
"2024-02-22. Pepe's Tacos. Austin, TX.Pepe's Tacos is actually a taco stand at the mouth of the parking lot of Frozen Rolls Creamery. They have two large picnic tables that make up all their seating. We came for the Quesobirria tacos, but when we saw the menu, they also had a Birria Ramen. Another smart take on serving up food with ultra high margins... Did we try it? Of course we did!For those who are new to Quesobirria tacos, you dip the crunchy taco into the consomé soup. They're served fresh and hot, and if you eat them right away, you'll get that great cheese pull.Quesobirria Tacos. Three tacos with consomé soup and a garlic avocado aioli. $15. The tacos were pretty good. The beef was flavorful and tender. The taco shell was nice and crispy and the amazing thing about it was that it was not wet as some are. The consomé was greatly lacking in my opinion. Not much more than beef stock watered down. The avocado aioli was really good. Rich and creamy with just the right amount of garlic flavor making it prominent but not overpowering. The dish also came with a cup of rice and a cup of beans. Overall, 3 stars.Birria Ramen. This is essentially the Birria Beef, the broth it was cooked in, and Ramen. Since the Birria beef for the tacos were flavorful, I expected the same for the Ramen; and Pepe's didn't disappoint! The beef was not shredded like it was with the tacos, you got entire chunks of it! But it was still tender and flavorful. The ramen was not the fresh type, but I prefer the dried ramen so it worked out for me. They provided a side of onions, cilantro, and limes to complement the ramen and that paired well with the Birria broth. $12. 4 stars overall.Quesobirria tacos are pretty big in Texas, they're all over the place and both restaurants and food trucks sell them. They're pricey regardless of where you are (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas) and sell for $15 (for 3). While I have yet to find a place that has both good tacos and good consomé, if you're in Texas, I highly recommend you try them. And if you're at Pepe's, I would recommend the Ramen over the tacos. If You would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!"
"Don't sleep on Teal House. I've live in Austin for 4 years and finally made my way here.Y'all, this coffee house is a bakery in back. With a selection of coffees & teas to pair with fresh baked pastries, it's a yes and more please for me.The breakfast croissant has a crispy, yet perfectly soft and fluffy inside. The kolaches are from heaven and I usually don't like them. They have fresh sourdough bread.Y'all, this place was awesome. Huge fan!"
"My husband and I always past this joint and it is always busy with customers. We finally made plans to check them out on a Saturday morning. It wasn't too busy and there was plenty of open seating which was nice. The tacos are made to order and I love that they serve it with three different salsas (mild to hot). I tried their chorizo potato and egg taco and barbacoa. Both were tasty. Their barbacoa was really delicious and not too greasy. My only complaint was their tortillas had a different taste to it that I wasn't too fond of. I'm hoping it was just a one off day but I will be back to try their other menu items!"
"enjoyed an incredible dinner at arlo's.we tried their bacon cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, hawt dog, and mac n cheese.they make their food fresh on-site and everything is 100% plant based. you really don't feel like you're missing out on anything-- it was one of the best burgers and hot dogs we've ever had. mac n cheese is a must.honestly this is one of the best vegan spots in austin and is def worth a try."
"Wow, these empanadas were truly outstanding. It takes about 15 minutes for them to be freshly prepared, but it was so worth it. The fried plantains were also amazing."
"Food truck...it's all the craze and has been for a few years now. You'd hope that one that sits in a food truck park all day every day would be good, right? Well, it is!I can't say I've had Thai food from a truck before and was a tad skeptical, but it was fantastic. Super flavourful and a good amount of spice. I'd say it could've used a bit more of the "protein", but I'm still thinking about how good it was and that overtakes that complaint.Try it!"
