As with another reviewer, we had tried this establishment when it was the "Grubbery" and had a really bad experience . We've been to other Wystone locations and been satisfied - perhaps this building is cursed....Received a postcard in the mail encouraging us to try the new location. Our experience was so off-putting we left before ordering. This was actually an easy decision as they had no Coffee and we weren't even offered a tea menu, the bartender hadn't shown up (11a on a Sunday morning - prime brunch time) so we couldn't have a bloody mary, they had no Juice, and the manager, Dustin, wasn't available to speak with us. SERIOUSLY?

first off, the waitstaff had no idea what was going on. albeit they were really nice - they knew not how to work the front of the house. not only could they not find menu items to ring in, they were clueless as to whether or not they even HAD the item. also, a group of ladies tried to split the bill and the waitress told them they couldn't because 1) she didn't know how to do so, and 2) she didn't have any change but $20's in the cash drawer. i ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich. it came out a heaping mess on an untoasted bun so it was a challenge to eat. i'm fairly sure there was gravy on the sandwich as well (wtf?). said it came with fries but upon delivering my food, the waitress told me they didn't have any. so i had assumed my cup of soup would sub for those fries but, oh no, i got charged for it all. sub par everything. will not be returning. not even sure how this place stays open.

I would avoid this place at all costs. I was highly disappointed with the food and presentation of the Father's Day buffet. I've had better food in my own backyard. Crusty rolls, hard hot dog buns and barbecue sauce straight from a jar were no acceptable. The floors were dirty and even though the restaurant was empty, I still had to wait for plates and silverware. Then more guests arrived straight from the pool. No shoes, no shirt, no service does not apply to this place. Anything goes. The only thing worse than bad food and mediocre service is high cost. This $30 buffet plus automatic 20% gratuity for only 4 people was just ridiculous. Don't let this place ruin your special celebration.

Great food and lots of cool dishes. Fairly priced, but service is slow sometimes. From my understanding, they have switched staff and the last time I was in the service was just fine. Great food, nice people, sometimes slow service. Overall a nice place for lunch.

This was the worst experience in our dining out history. I need to get this out while it is still fresh. We heard of this place from a advertisement card we received in the mail and thought we would check it out since we regularly support local businesses. The worst idea we have ever had. When we got there, the parking was horrible, we had to park across the street and down the block. When we got in the doors, we were met with a manager on his cellphone. He seated us and we waited for over 10 minutes for someone to notice we were there and to get drinks. That didn't happen and I had to go to the bar to let someone know we had yet to have drinks brought to us....even a glass of water would have been a great start. The waiter, and I use the term loosely, then came to take our order and was clueless about what was on the menu and stated "sorry, I'm not sure what I'm doing cause I'm still new." He then came back to clarify our order twice after this. Another waitress was openly rude to other staff and in front of customers. The woman I spoke to at the bar previously (short woman with long brown hair)came and gave another seated couple their menus and when my husband said "excuse me" ignored him. Point blank. I said "excuse me" FOUR additional times as she was walking by our booth and she NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED US SPEAKING TO HER. However, another customer did as she stopped 5 feet from our booth to speak to her. There was never a question as to whether or not she heard us. She did and chose not to engage or make eye contact with us. We sat in this environment for 27 minutes and then made the decision to leave and never come back. Word to the wise, Wystone's, if you decide to open a business for the public, take heed and train your staff and make sure they are comfortable with the menu and working with customers before you expect them to interact with paying customers. Let your employees know that when they say rude comments to and about staff and customers, that there is always someone watching and listening. Also, it is also horrible customer service for management to be on their phone talking and texting for one, but to not wash their hands a begin making drinks at the bar is completely disgusting.

If you look at the menu this place should be great. It was mediocre previously as The Grubbery and was a disappointment again when we tried it again recently for a Saturday lunch. The poor waiter got the order wrong after coming back to clarify twice, we had to chase him down for silverware after the food arrived and then some of it was dirty. Add to the fiasco that the kitchen was out of salmon and avocados, but then found some. Seems like mostly poor staff training and absent management. We also tried a couple of their custom blended teas, one was OK, the other was horrible. It was hard to tell as they only give you unlabeled loose tea to smell to make your decision. It's a shame really as we live nearby and it has so much potential.

I was looking for a venue that was in a central location to host my daughter's afternoon tea bridal shower. They said they would email their promo packet, but never did. Nor would they return calls after leaving them several messages. Needless to say I never held the event there and was able to find a place that was absolutely amazing, so thank you for the fortuitous snub Wystone's.

The poor waitress was completely overwhelmed- with our one table. Two women came in after us and she served them very quickly because they were friends, but aside from them, we were literally the only party there. The bartender wasn't there, but rather than saying so, she googled how to make a Bloody Mary (it was terrible). My friends tea was bitter (she specifically asked for what was on the label of the jar, was given what was in the jar but was NOT what was on the label). It took about 30 minutes for our drinks (water and a couple of lattes) to show up, more time for our order to be taken, and was probably close to 1.5 hours from the time we arrived to the time food was in front of us. Again, aside from the two women who were friends of the waitress, we were the only party there! The food was pretty bad- the creme brûlée french toast was just french bread made into french toast and thrown on a plate, could easily have been made at home. My husband specified no meat on his food, and was brought meat chili on top of his dish. The omelette had a congealed slice of pepper jack on top and was miniature. The kids pancakes were rock hard. All together, probably the only thing that could make this worse would be if we all got sick... I only post this badness because no one should endure this! Fortunately, we had a good time because we are good friends, and as an epically bad food adventure, it will give us a great memory!
