Wood Paddle Pizza and Tap

So, I didn't go inside- but I wanted to stop by and share how delicious this pizza was!! Oh my goodness! So good!We had the margarita pizza, the prosciutto pizza, the "Godfather sandwich" and my little one had the pasta and meatballs...Oh! And!! We tried the apple pie dessert- oh man! Everything was just so good and tasty, flavorful-We got everything to go, the wait time to make said pizza was appropriate and my husband said the inside was rather small- I can't comment on the ambiance as I didn't go inside. We will be back!

The pizza and salads are great! I wish I could like the Mac and Cheese more. It was too cheesey and doesn't reheat well, so I will stick to the pizzas when I go back. The Ms. Pac-Man table is the best!!

Great local spot to grab a wood fire pizza. Gluten free, vegetarian, & vegan options are offered. They also have a wide variety of Appetizers, salads, and sandwiches on the menu. Obviously they have some amazing craft beers on tap! Word on the website is...there is a VIP SECRET MENU in the works. Standard service, always clean and tidy space. If you are ever in the area definitely check em out!

Great customer service and local beer selection. Unfortunately this is really the only saving grace becuase the food is extremely bland. I have been here on 5 seperate occasions and each time I am underwhelmed by the taste of anything I have ordered (apps, pizza, sandwiches). All pizzas sound delicious but never deliver on flavor. Everything is fresh and smells/looks incredible but is virtually tasteless. Everyone else I know that comes here says basically the same thing (I live in the area). Its a shame becuase its such a cool spot and the beers are exceptional! I want to love this place but I just can't get over how flavorless the food is.

I picked this spot because they have the big pizza oven but the ambiance of the place is of a dank basement with a wet concrete floor. The tables are crammed together in a small area and the games in the back are ancient (not nostalgic, ancient). The food is just ok and so is the service. Overall wouldn't recommend based on the basement feel and mediocre food

What an amazing family run F & B pizza establishment. We've gone here several times now and we don't even live in the area. The food, service and pizza are amazing! We also love going here because it's for everyone who loves pizza! Great atmosphere for the family as well.

Great pizza. The simple salad is wonderful, tossed in their house vinegarette with caramelized onions. Marissa is friendly and so welcoming. Tuesday is 1/2 price beer day. Always a great rotation of tasty beers. Casual and family friendly atmosphere.

The pizza was amazing, well worth the wait on a Friday night. The pizza was cooked, but not burnt. Crust like you can get with wood fired pizzas.

Fantastic Pizza, such nice staff, great beers on tap... What more do you need?I tried wood paddle pizza for the first time shortly after they opened, must've been five years ago now. I was quickly hooked! I used to live very close and probably ate there way too many times, long before I ever became a yelper. So I was a little nervous going back for the first time in years because I so desperately needed it would be as delicious as it was back then. But, as we know, all too often quality tends to suffer after so much time goes by. And our tastes can change. Well I am happy to report that neither the quality of their food nor my taste buds have changed one bit! My favorite pizza (Armando) is still fire. If anything was missing some of that fennel pollen flavor that I loved so much, next time maybe I'll just order more. But everything else about it was exactly what I remember... Flavorful sauce, gooey cheese, savory sausage, perfectly chard broccoli! And that crust is SO delicious. I actually ate two slices completely. I usually don't eat the edge of the crust because it's either not good or I don't wanna waste the carbs and calories. But I ate every last bite of each piece! Such a great little hidden gem in Aurora! Arguably the best pizza in Aurora in my opinion!

A solid pizza joint located in Aurora. Definitely a lively and somewhat divey place that offers great service and excellent pizza. You wouldn't think of it but it's located in a strip mall. if that is a detractor then you're certainly missing out!We ordered the likes of an arugula salad, French onion soup and mozzarella balls. Everything came out quick and hot when needed be. Adding to this, the mozzarella balls came out nice and hot! Same thing with pizza too! Nice flavor, spiciness to the right touch and hot hot hot!Of course I would return! Plenty of parking exists outside in the lot. Everyone from the hostesses to waitstaff add to the welcoming ambiance. Dine in or take out and you'll be pleasantly pleased. A place of this pedigree does not exist in suburbia till now!
