We stopped here on the way to have photos taken at Cherry Creek Lake with the whole family... and I mean whole family extended family cousins everyone. I decided to run in and grab a few boxes of donuts to hold the kids while we set up. I'm not typically a donut eater and if I ever order them, it's usually one single glazed Krispy Kreme, nothing fancy nothing exciting.The section here was huge and a little overwhelming at first for my plane taste. The shop had recently opened as it was early morning, we were catching the golden hour. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They explained all of the different flavors to me and even offered suggestions when I asked what was popular. They also made sure I tried the churro donut which I guess was the do not miss item. Although I only got a bite because I believe it was everyone else's favorite, I do remember it being delicious.We got cream filled jelly filled chocolate filled and assortment of beautifully decorated treats. The portions were actually very large and most of the adults opted to split the donuts in half. The children had a wonderful time and insisted that we all go back. I really appreciate finding a place like this that could step in and help direct me making my selections.. Huge bonus - the coffee was delicious too.

I love Winchell's. I always used to go to Winchell's when I lived in Los Angeles. This one went in to this neighborhood not too long ago and it's a little hidden gem for this tiny shopping center. The manager is always so nice and so kind, so is his son. The donuts are always soft and moist. They're so delicious and fluffy. I have to say they are one of my favorite donut spots. The price for a donut is not too bad. It runs about two bucks or so. I love that I can get donut holes here , reminds me of when I used to go to church youth group and they used to have donuts and chocolate milk for us. They're nostalgic for sure. They have tables and chairs and it's clean and nice and bright inside. It's very welcoming and relaxing if you want to have your coffee or a drink with your donut and just sit and enjoy your treats there. When I'm in the area I do try to stop in and grab a donut or donut holes and I do recommend this little spot.

I have ordered from this location twice the first time the donuts weren't fresh. I normally don't do reviews I try my best to give small businesses grace however, I believe this was deliberate. I ordered an egg burrito this morning and all I had in my burrito was eggshells. Which is sad and unfortunate.
