Wahoo's Fish Taco

I love wahoos. I've been to some Amazing locations and some not so amazing ones. I came to this location for the first time and have enjoyed my first visit. I ordered two blackened fish tacos with white rice / black beans. I like how they have the sauces out on a table for the customers to get for themselves. The only area I could see for improvement would be to have a spot for napkins too. The customer service was very friendly and well appreciated. There was a busy traffic time at 6pm ish. I look forward to coming back for more.

Soooo...they took our online order for pick-up at 3:15. Showed up at 3:07. They were closed with chairs on tables. Not even a stoner inside. How would you rate this nonsense?0 and a 0.

Wahoos is a unique place and one that brings back great California memories for us. You can get a healthy mahi mahi taco or burrito, with steamed veggies, carne asada tacos, butter lime rice and a fresh salsa bar. The restaurant is a bit older and could use a revamp, but it's comfortable and kept reasonably clean. Staff is always friendly and even checks on you after you've gotten your food, which is rare for a fast food place. Though the price is on the higher side of things, it's a great place to grab lunch or dinner on your own or with the family.

Good variety of choices. Fresh and flavorful. Service was fast and the restaurant was clean.

I have been to a few Wahoo's location (both in Colorado and California).This one seems to be one of the better locations, if you have been to the one by Park Meadows and felt that it was "not quite up to par", give this location a shot.If you have never been to a Wahoo's, rule number one: get your burrito smothered. Smother it with as much goodness as possible.It's really a solid 4.5 star place...I rounded down, because any Mexican (or this case "Mexican-ish") place that doesn't give free chips and salsa, is a bit of pet peeve of mine.

Food is always pretty solid and we go on a pretty regular basis. The staff is always friendly as well so even though it's fast casual I generally leave a tip. On our recent visit after paying I noticed a 5% service charge and when you pay the standard tip options given are 18% - 22%. As I mentioned I like this place, but it can be $40 for two people at a fast casual restaurant and high seems to be getting a little much.

Haven't been to a Wahoo's in quite awhile. I also was expecting we were going to get traditional fish and chips. So I was super bummed before we even got there. But...I left so happy that we went here vs getting the standard fish and chips place. Much healthier for sure.I had the Combo #2 with one Wahoo and one Salmon as the two proteins. So loved that they both were wild caught vs farm-raised. I chose black beans and cauliflower rice. Fresh, light ingredients. Didn't feel badly about one thing I ate, which felt good!But I know one day I will eventually get my fish and chips...

This Highlands Ranch location is great, closest thing to the original SoCal locations here in Colorado. Shrimp and spicy chicken were prepped and cooked so well! Only downside (like every fast casual place) is the rapidly escalating cost of everything. Any decent burrito is going to run $13-20 with enhancements or options.

Came in at 6p. I ordered Cajun wahoo bowl and wahoo chimichanga. Brown rice in the bowl was supposed to be white, ok. I ordered guacamole, nope. No wahoo in the chimichanga, it was all veggies. I don't know if they gave me the wrong order but there were only 2 couples in the place, and 1 was done eating as I walked out. If there is a next time, I'll make sure they show me the meals before I leave. Ridiculous.

I hate to say it, but the recent price increases has made it too expensive to go back for lunch. $15+ for beans, rice and two chicken tacos is absolutely nuts. We work in the area and this Wahoos was a go to for many people in our corp office for lunch, but for the first time, a group of us walked in last week and left before placing our order because we couldn't justify a $20 check for simple Mexican food. Thanks for all the memories Wahoos, if you guys ever run a lunch special, we'll be back. For now, keeping with Chilis $9.99 burger, fries, drink and an appetizer deal!
