Village Green Liquor & Wine

Only two reviews so it's hard to gauge how this store if for regulars. Was in the neighborhood at a friends place and we stopped in for some beer.Colorado sure loves beer and this store is no exception. Unfortunately a majority of what they stock is Bud Light, Keystone, Coors, Bud Select etc. They did have a few Breckenridge or New Belgium samplers but nothing you haven't seen everywhere else. Slight disappointment but if you're local and want a Red's Apple Cider and some stubby Coors Banquet bottled this is your best bet.Liquor. Wine. Decent selections for those but again the standards. Maybe they'll start carrying something special if you ask but the store vibe seems unlikely of that.You can grab small chips, lemons and limes, small plastic cups, lighters, and I believe cigarettes. Mostly seemed like beer, wine, and liquor with average liquor store prices. Nothing wildly close to a deal but as I said we just wanted a case of alright beer last minute. This store suited our needs well.

Yo the atmosphere makes you wanna stay inside. The clerks are like the coolest people ever. And the prices are awesome!

Well this place has very good prices but this review is based on their "child" that works at night. During the day the older mature people there, possible owners, are great! They are polite and try to help you with the best prices but when you show up at night their child worker is the worse. He is always on his phone, doesn't work, and when you try to get checked out he gets unnerved. Just last night when I asked for a bag for my wine it was thrown at me. I stated "I could do without the attitude" and he said "I don't see why you need a bag?" Now I know to go earlier or find another store because this child shouldn't be working there

I'd give a negative review if I could. My wallet was stolen at the King Sooper while I was shopping next door and this establishment let 4 charges on my card go thru within 30 mins. Each for 30-50. Yeah we use chip readers. But the name prints on the receipt if its rang up as credit and the user has to sign. Severely disappointed.

I have been loyal to this liquor store for over 10 years. The owner is always rude and I pointed out a mistake in pricing on tuaca tonight that that could cost them a lot of money. They treated me like a criminal because of it instead of honoring the price. Where I come from in retail you honor the price listed. From one customer to the next, don't come her and spend your business, In fact the local bar near here won't either if I have anything to do with it. Not ok, I hope they make it right.
