If you're looking for some tasty authentic modern Mexican cuisine with a fun twist, you've got to check out Uno Mas! I recently tried the Pork Green Chili for the first time, all thanks to our awesome bartender and server, Alyssa. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! Big shoutout to Alyssa for offering me a little taste to help me decide--I was sold! And let's not forget an even bigger shoutout to the chef for creating such a mouthwatering dish!I've always shied away from Pork or Veggie Green Chili in the past because a lot of places use flour to thicken it, and that's not great for gluten-free folks like me. But at Uno Mas, they skip the flour and thickener, really letting the flavors of the pork, green chilies, Serrano peppers, garlic, and spices shine through in this amazing soup.My partner went for two tacos--first up was the Barbacoa, made with smoked, slow-braised beef, potatoes, poblanos, roasted tomatillo salsa, and asadero cheese. Then, they had the Carnitas, featuring smoked pork shoulder, radish, poblanos, and more roasted tomatillo salsa. Yum!Uno Mas has several locations across Colorado, but our favorite spot is definitely the one on Pear St. If you're in the area, you should check it out!

Great tacos. Soggy tacos. Pricy. $3.50 for half a tiny cup of haberno salsa is ridiculous, considering that it is half the cost of an order of chips and salsa, which comes with three salsas. This is robbery. Y'all can do better.

I really enjoyed this place! We stopped in on Memorial Day for a post park walk lunch and it did not disappoint. They had a special in margs for $8 so I had to have one and it was yummy! We started off which chips and guac. The chips were salty and yummy and the guac was delicious! I wish it was in like a bowl or something instead of on a plate, hard to scoop. We got a variety of tacos as you can see by the picture, my vegan friend got the mushrooms and said they were good!! I got a shrimp, a barbacoa and a carnitas I believe. All were delicious! I really loved the vibe of the outdoor patio. They only had like 3 people working, so I will say service was pretty slow, but over server was super nice!

The salsa trio and guacamole appetizers were sublime. Wildly impressed, followed up with their Barbacoa taco and the cilantro jalapeño margarita I'm leaving this establishment so happy. Our bartender Kris was wonderful and attentive, that might have been the best margarita I've ever had as well. Cheers to these folks and I'll see them again soon. Ambiance was great too, lovely bar to sit at with friendly service.

Something to know before you go... This place is SMALL. One bathroom, only about a half-dozen seats at the bar, and only 10-12 tables inside (although it does have a cute patio!). So the wait can be long, and the service- while very friendly- can take some time. That said, the tacos are incredible! The barbacoa and duck confit were probably the best tacos that I've had outside of Mexico. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and was very good, despite the sauce being sweeter than I would have liked and the chorizo was also delicious. They make some excellent margaritas, as well, so if you're down to have a nice, long dinner with a significant other or friends, this is a fantastic place to do it!

We are sad that we just had a pretty negative experience here. This has been our weekly lunch go-to for a while and we love their drinks and food. This afternoon we were the only patrons in the restaurant and there were two conflicting radio stations playing loudly. I asked the bartender if we could have it so we only were able to hear one station. She informed me it was the house music plus the kitchen music. I asked again and she hesitated before asking the kitchen to turn down the radio. It was slightly turned down but still very much audible. Our server came over and took our order and I suggested he turn off the house music so the kitchen could continue to rock out. That I could not enjoy lunch listening to Stevie Nicks plus the unknown artist from the kitchen speakers. He told me "I mean...we can't have it silent in here." My reply of "it won't be and also we are the only ones here" was answered with "yeah but what if someone else comes in?" Welp! He never learned about a bird in the hand being better than two in the bush I guess. Speaking of Bird, we are enjoying our lunch and just one station there now.

Uno Mas is a tried and true taco spot for me in Denver. The Pearl Street location has ample indoor seating but I usually opt for the back patio because of the nicer ambiance. They always have multiple draft beers along with great margs. The service is always great with charismatic waitresses who do not miss a beat! On my last visit, we ordered the seasonal fish taco, chorizo taco, and chicken taco. All were phenomena-- especially the chorizo. It is flavorful and made even better with the roasted vegetables that are folded throughout the chorizo. The guac was obviously made fresh right before being brought out to us and our chips were hot and crispy! I would also recommend the salsa trio. Give Uno Mas a try next time you're in the Wash Park neighborhood!

Walking the Pearl Market and had to try this place. The tacos were very accurate to what I have had in Mexico City. They are very good. The carnitas was a little too wet though. It didn't have that char I'm used too. They have a big variety of tequila. Service was good. I think the counters could be a little cleaner. On the bar. I will say that these are so far the best tacos I've had in Colorado. I'd definitely come back and try more tacos. I'm impressed.
