Turkish Chef on Wheels was the food truck available at the Summit Game ( Professional Ultimate Frisbee) on Friday night and they had a massive line at their window! Great business for them!! We ordered the Fries loaded with Feta and Beef/ lamb Doner which was fantastic. It basically is lamb gyro meat on top of your French fries with the tzatziki sauce, feta, spices, and they have hot sauce on the side if you want it. Decent price for the amount of fries you get ($16) and the staff was SO nice to us and made sure we got our order despite being the most popular spot!

This truck is legit. I went to Turkey last year and this is just like the food I had there. The doner and the chicken are both excellent, using a very similar spice mix to what I had all over the country. If you get the platter it comes with rice, salad, a pita, a bit of plain-ish hummus and a daily side, which can be a falafel, a grape leaf, or a white bean salad, all of which are good. I haven't tried the gozleme yet, but I'm sure I'll like that too. My main complaint is that I haven't seen simit on the menu yet, which would round out the experience nicely given how popular that snack is everywhere in Turkey. The owner is from there and has kindly brought his food to us, and I'm very glad he did.

Amazing Doner plate, meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection, falafel was crispy and soft on the inside, sauce is perfect, nailed the pita texture, even the rice and the salad on the side were fresh and clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. Highly recommend!!

The falafel was amazing! The #wraps looked incredible, will be back for one of those bad boys. The mint #yogurt was really good, great with the falafel. Food was great! Had the beef/lamb wrap and my wife had the chicken plate. The stuffed grape leaves were some of the best I have ever eaten (seriously). For a food truck, this was awesome and decently priced!

Turkish Chef was parked in a parking lot at a community event on Friday 10/07. I attended this event with a few friends of mine. There were many other food trucks at this event and I chose Turkish Chef. I ordered a Doner wrap, a side of fries and a soda. Total bill was $25.45, with tip. I was very pleased with the Doner wrap. You have a choice to order a Doner plate or wrap. I loved the fries! They were different and a huge portion as well! The fries had cheese crumbles and spices in it. I didn't feel a need to use ketchup on them. Overall, I was very pleased with the food. I would order more food from Turkish Chef in the future. Staff was very friendly as well. Also, I didn't need to wait long for my food. I recommend checking them out sometime. I've had Turkish food before and this food truck delivers good quality. Enjoy!

I had some pretty high hopes for this place considering almost every review is 5 stars until now. Maybe I was there on an off night I don't know what it was but everything tasted frozen. At first I thought it was all in my head but after looking at my email it said my order was made 3 minutes after it was placed. I said okay maybe they're just really efficient or don't have many customers at the time.Once I got to their truck, outside of Mountain Toad brewery, I grabbed my box and took it home. Once I got home I opened it up and the gyro meat tasted like it was reheated and the falafel was missing any type of crunch you usually want in a falafel. It looked like an anemic meatball. The sauce didn't help either because although usually white and creamy it just tasted white and watered down.I'm going to be looking elsewhere next time I consider anything Mediterranean related

If you see the Turkish Chef on Wheels, stop and grab a delightful meal. We tried the Chicken & Doner Combo Special. It comes with a side salad, beans, pita, rice, chicken and lamb. It's a great option to try almost everything on the menu. Surprisingly, the lamb was my favorite! It was PACKED with flavor that made me grab more and more, until it was all gone. Haha, I may just opt for a Doner Special, next time. Either way, Ismet, the owner and chef, will make you a quality and authentic Turkish meal that will surly give your tastebuds delight!

This truck came by my office today so I had to try it out.Menu is clear and simple. Ordering was very quick. The food did not take too long at all to arrive. On to the goods, I ordered the doner mixed grilled of lamb/beef and chicken. Every meat was juicy and delicious. Extremely well flavored. The falafel was scrumptious as well. I didn't like the hummus too much, I prefer more of a warm/smoother hummus than cold one but that's just my personal preference.Overall, the meal was quite satisfying. It is a bit up there on price, around $15-16 so that's to be noted.

We tried this food truck at Four Mile Historic Park. The food was awesome! Everything was absolutely delicious and authentic. The falafel was especially amazing. I would say it did take a while to get the food. The people were friendly and very nice.
