Of the multitude of bars along Broadway, TrashHawk Tavern is in the top ten for me. The commitment to the "trash hawk" aka raccoon theme is evident in every detail down to the "trashy" menu and chotskies that are definitely pulled from the trash - on purpose. TrashHawk offers good drinks at reasonable prices and is a good locale to start (or finish) your evening off with. Service can be a little bit slow from time to time, but that is because there are a ton of people trying to order drinks from the one bartender on shift. The plus side of this, is that you get to look at all the decor and fun raccoons hidden about while waiting for your drinks. There is always a food truck on site and the food trucks rotates throughout the week. Having been on Westword's 100 Bars You Can't Live Without for a third year in a row since I've started reading, it most definitely is a place to visit! The bathroom decor is a must see for sure - hilarious!

Awesome energy and wall decor! I was drawn to the aesthetic of this place and thoroughly enjoyed the folks frequenting this cute lil bar. I'd definitely recommend this as a laid-back place to hang out!

This place is unique. It's like Toys R Us but for adults. Just think "where an adult can be a kid." The lawless nature of this gentlemanly establishment sets it apart from the same ole boring bar. Be a clown, be silent, be a goof ball and run around pants less it's all up to you. Just don't be rude to people and you'll be just fine. Trash Hawk I salute you.

Wanted to grab some drinks with friends last week and had heard about this spot and the cheap drinks, so we decided to check it out. They have a fun 'trashy' menu of a lot of random things and definitely cheap prices if you're looking to save some $. I went with the "Trash Mom" which is their .....kind of take on a long island? It was alright, though I'm not sure all the flavors blended great. But again, $7 is nothing to sneer at.The ambience is super divey here and a bit too loud in the front room - or at least the people behind us were being way too loud. We realized later there's a back room which was much quieter, so we moved back there. Part of the room is taken up by.....something? I couldn't quite figure out what was behind the railing area. Might be better used as additional seating, but not sure. Overall an okay experience, cheap drinks, a little too loud but an easy spot.

Really cool place to drink with games in the back and patio. Bartenders/ owner are amazing and love going there. Also, they typically have a food truck on the weekend which always has good choices.

Huge thanks to Bridget for the wonder service in this cute local spot on South Broadway! I didn't try any food, but our bartender was very thoughtful in recommending a few options to compliment the oakiness of Casamigos. I decided on a margarita, which I usually try to avoid the standard dive-bar sweet and sour poorly constructed tequila nightmare. My marg was pretty fantastic, and I ordered a second over my go-to sour beer because Bridget's marg was better.Let's talk about Fox, Bridget's amazing dog, he was the coolest and best behaved dog I've met aside from my own. He's partly the reason we decided to stop in! Ambiance is awesome; the music could be louder, but at least we could hear each other's conversation! The Xmas lights are fun and brighten the space in a comfortable casual way.

Had a great time with my gal pals for my birthday celebration at TrashHawk. I love the curated decor that makes you feel like you're in someone's home. Their happy hour is an incredible deal: BOGO Free M-F 2-6pm and S/S 12-6pm. I love their Trash Drinks. Strong cocktails (most are doubles!) served in pint glasses with names like Old Balls, Trash Mom, The Broseph, and my fav, Baby Girl (double tall vodka soda). They let you bring in your own snacks which was a plus for us since we had birthday cupcakes. You need to go to the bar to order your own drinks. It was a busy afternoon with our large group and several others watching college football so service was a little slow. This will not deter me from going again and again as Erin was great to work with to get a space reserved.

TrashHawk is great. Can't beat inexpensive straight forward drinks. This is a beer and shot kinda bar. Don't ask for or expect anything fancy. I mean Trash is in the name. Great spot to chill by yourself and chat with whoever is sitting at the bar, but also a great spot for a group of people. Bartenders are all friendly besides Ian. He sucks. Worst bartender in Denver! (I also say that because if he reads this I am sure he will laugh. We love Ian... most of the time). The bar is dog friendly, but don't forget a leash. Gotta have ur fur babies leashed in the bar. No kitchen, but easily walkable to a sub shop, fried chicken place and more. Bringing in your own food is highly endorsed. Also they have food trucks 3+ nights a week. Follow on Insta for daily updates on current and up coming events. If the owner is there ask her how she came up with the name for the bar.

We go here after our softball games and it's a good place to hangout. The beers are cheap and cold but their house cocktails/mixed drinks are a miss on my end. My gf and I have had several of their in house mixes and all were trash unfortunately. The staff are great and atmosphere is good! It's your neighborhood dive bar, they have great music playing, trivia night and other things to do.

When entering TrashHawk your eye is immediately drawn to all of the paraphernalia on the walls and ceiling. Apparently the owner had collected a lot of the stuff from her grandmother's basement and vintage stores. This gives the place a very cozy feel. We needed an extra chair for our table, and the bartender, Maddy, suggested we grab a chair from the back. I was shocked when I went up the stairs and around the corner to discover a big additional space in the back! My favorite decor was the wallpaper in the bathrooms. Both of the bathroom's walls are plastered with old Life Magazine ads, one bathroom had liquor ads and the other has cigarette ads. Definitely warrants lingering a bit long on the toilet seat to see them all :).It was a Sunday afternoon and happy hour, and the drinks were cheap and unique - just how I like them! I had the Lil" Smidge (Malibu, Well Rum, and Pineapple with Sprite & soda water) which hit the spot, and Maddy kept them coming. They have popcorn, chips and lunchables available, but you are allowed to bring in your own food. As we were leaving a food truck pulled up out front, and I was told they have rotating food trucks regularly.
