I felt like I traveled into a portal into Mexico, the building is pretty cool you walk into the little plaza and on the right is the café not hard to see at all's The entire area is perfect for the vibe of the coffee shop, and vice versa the overall theme is the art district on Santa Fe. I love seeing Mexican businesses still in a rapidly changing/gentrified Denver the art on the buildings from La raza make me so happy. I was a little sad there wasn't much of a variety of Pan Dulce (sweet bread) to try today, but looking forward to exploring more of the menu later. I love all the traditional Mexican clay mugs they have for sale and the colors on the inside with the paper Picado across the ceilings (the colorful Mexican banners) the music was really good too they were playing Inolvidable by Reik I felt like I was a main character exploring Mexico in Y2K or something but great Y2K Spanish pop music. The person working today was a young lady very polite and enthusiastic she had great recommendations and offered quick alternatives when the avocados were all out meaning no avocado tostadas for the day ): I ordered the lavender chair with 2 espresso shots it was delicious I loved the flavors. But my favorite drink was the Atole Champurrado (blue corn Mexican hot chocolate) it was rich creamy and delicious! Also Look at this cute pay it forward sign you can pay for someone else's item write down what it is you're paying for and then someone random who walks in can take a sticky note and redeem it I thought that was such a cool idea (:I do hope the owner hires more staff and keeps the pan and menu stocked accordingly maybe caught them on an off day ? In regards to staffing the single employee was great but seemed busy trying to tend to all the patrons also the dishes were stacking up pretty high but I don't blame her she seemed over worked

It's in the Santa Fe Arts District, and the place is full of color and tradition. You can tell the owner put her heart into it--she even checked out all the panaderías in town to make sure she's serving the best. The vibe is welcoming and focused on community what I ordered: over a couple visits I tried the dulce de leche latte, Gansito latte (yes, it's a thing!), a concha (obviously), and a puerquito.best bite/sip: The dulce de leche latte was on point - not too sweet, just perfect. And you can't go wrong with a concha! Definitely coming back for their tamales, empanadas, and atole.

This experience of mine was exactly a week ago. After the heavy rush hour traffic had pretty much died down, I stopped here to get me a doppio with cream. We all know that this section of Santa Fe is very artsy. Being surrounded by art galleries etc. this hidden coffee shop is equally artsy. Colorful walls and interior design, it could as pastel colorful as it could get. Service was mediocre though. I order a doppio. I did order it to be iced but she gave me hot. So I kindly asked the lady to put some ice when she did, she didn't bother to get a clear iced drink cup. Instead, she poured ice cube scoop full of ice by dumping it into that small hot beverage cup where some amount of the espresso coffee kind of splashed out of the cup and didn't say anything to it (fortunately though it didn't splash on me or my clothes. Still in that kind of situation, if I were the barista, I would give me a different cup (iced drink one) so the cup wouldn't be overfilled.) I would, however, give this place a chance in the future because it is a cute place and find it very unique. I would like to try some of their food as well.

This is a cute little coffee shop that's kind of hidden with a gallery connected to it. The register is right there when you walk in and the cashier was super nice. I got the medium dulce de leche latte for here and it came in a nice clay cup. We sat in the attached gallery area that has both artwork and quotes around. It's a nice place that's tucked in with the bustle of the busy Sante Fe road outside. Highly recommend this place!!

I really enjoyed their service, I told them I was new to the area and they gave me lots of info on where to go and etc. The seating is ample but it's nothing super cute, it's definitely a chiller vibe. A place to work and study. The food was delicious kinda small. I enjoyed their mocha latte quite a lot, but it is very sweet which is why I liked it so much!

Into the Santa Fe arts district I found myself. I needed a hot cup of coffee. I found it. It was delicious. The ambience of this business was great. And the location was festive and arty. A nice outdoor-esque seating area was available as well as indoor seating. This is my new go-to coffee place while in the arts district. I cannot praise it enough. Visit. You'll be glad you did. The menu is small but they also have wares for sale. It's just great.

The drinks were delicious and very unique, but the service was not very friendly and the food was disappointing. We ordered the tostada for $8, and were given one large tortilla chip in a bag and a small paper cup of guacamole - not what we expected.

I love walking around Santa Fe when it's not busy. It was so empty when I visited Tonantzin that there was plenty of parking right in front. This is such a cute cafe with the friendliest service. I came here for a Brewchata (cold brew + horchata) and a Guava Queso pastry. Both were delicious! Would love to come back and try some of their savory foods, as well as a regular coffee. The Brewchata didn't perk me up as much as I had hoped it would.

Experience: Went in on a Monday late morning. Was not crowded. They were out of many items on the menu unfortunately, but we still ordered a couple of drinks and food. It's a good local spot to gather and bring awareness of the different people within the community or that collaborate within the community.Food/Drink: I ordered the mocha picante with oat milk, friend the horchata latte, and a chorizo burrito and a puerquito (ginger bread). I was thrown off by the burrito. I was expecting a more typical burrito, a hefty thing I could bite into for breakfast, but instead it has a modern twist, it was more like a panini, and was quite small. Taste was okay, I wouldn't order again. The puerquito was good and fresh, but for the price, not worth it, you can get these at any local panaderia from 75 cents to 2 max, these were 3.75, yikes. The mocha picante was good, I've never had it as a latte. I would get that again. Parking: There is free street parking on both sides of the street. We had no issue finding parking around 11am in the morning. Interior: I liked the decor, typical, festive, and I liked the local Denver touches from artists and historical information. As someone who lives in LA and is surrounded by different restaurants that represent different states in Mexico, it was nice to see this in the Santa Fe Arts district. Verdict: It's worth supporting if you're visiting. Since I don't live in Denver, I'm not familiar with the events or what they do in the community. I feel that it attracts a mix of people, and for many in Denver, may be the first introduction to Mexican culture. I did enjoy the different art pieces created by local artists up in the cafe seating area.
