UPDATED REVIEW WITH PHOTOS :)Great restaurant. They had an extensive menu for happy hour food & also had good drink options. If you're coming for happy hour - I recommend the crispy cauliflower (the sauce it came with was so yummy), ahi poke stack, & the raspberry drop martini.

Thirsty Lion is a gastropub just to the left of Union Station, and honestly, they've got something for everyone. From sushi to steak to wings, everything hits the spot.Whether you've got family in town or need a break to catch a game, this is the place to be. Even better - they're featuring a holiday menu that'll satisfy even the pickiest eaters! What we ordered: Grilled Ribeye Steak Wagyu Beef & Bacon Jam Burger Sautéed Brussels Sprouts Cinnamon Sugar Churros & Ice Cream Passion Fruit Mango Margarita Bulleit Rye Espresso Martini Best bite:I loved the ribeye. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare and seasoned so well. The cheese curds were another highlight, and that burger? Plus, the Passion Fruit Mango Margarita was boozy, fruity, and not too sweet... I may have had more than one!

Conveniently located right next to Union station, this place has tons of bar seating and tvs. Perfect for someone visiting or working nearby. The food is pretty solid and the service was good! This was my first time going for dinner, I've only tried brunch in the past (which I've always liked).

Over the years I have been coming here and every time I'm blown away! Next to Union station his places is always busy BUT it never lacks quality of good food. Everything is seasoned just right. I really enjoy the seasonal menu as well as my recent discovery of Brunch weekend menu. Step a side other breakfast places and HELLO THIRSTY LION! I can't wait to bring back some family and friends for another amazing dinning experience. The staff is knowledgeable of all the ingredients so it's a great place to go if you have restrictions. The ambiance is definitely business casual dinning with a large bar in the middle and small booths off to the side. Go ahead and bring a date here you will not be disappointed

great ambiance here for sure, enjoyed sitting outside in the shade and people watch. It's absolutely relaxing. The lion lemonade tasted just like a lemonade. Not too sweet or tart and very light tasting. The ahi tuna poke was disappointing....the ahi was NOT fresh therefore the texture and taste was off. the sausage and prosciutto flat bread was too doughy for me, not thin or crispy enough for a flat for me. It left me with a heavy feeling in the stomach.

Ok, I was only in Denver for 4 days. I already wrote a review but had to eat there the last day as well as I knew they had great food.

We went here because it's a pickup location for the red rock shuttle. As a shuttle rider, you get 15% off your food.The server was a sweetheart.My ahi tuna stack was delicious.However my friend got the chicken entree and it was pretty dry.

Day 1: We had to come here to get the shuttle to Red Rocks. Next time we'll come because we want to! The food was terrific. The meat with the Huevos Rancheros was delicious and plentiful and there was so much ahi in the ahi poke bowl! Irene was an excellent server and the place is fun! We were pleased with the prices, too. We'll be back.Day 2: Prisilla was our server and she was fabulous. We got the "seared" ahi salad and ahi poke bowl. I saw a prior review where he said the ahi wasn't seared and some of it was inedible. So I asked that mine be really seared - not cooked through, but not raw. But it was basically raw. When I scraped the seasoning off the edges, it was raw underneath. There also was barely a hint of a change in color around the edges which happens when it is seared.

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. We got the recommendation from Snooze breakfast place near by since we were looking for lunch food. We had the cheese burger and the French dip. Everything was delicious! Live the hand cut fries! They were crispy and the perfect amount of salty. Definitely would come back!
