Fish & Chips delicious! That's what's up here! CO service that's super warm and efficient. The side of that fish and the light batter with the yummy golden salty fries and I'm good to go! Clean and spacious! We also tried their tacos. It's their weakest link in our order. It was bland. Overall I will still drop by but skipping the taco on that second trip!

We couldn't get into Aspen Peak and saw this place.A lot went wrong...First we asked to sit outside and was told "you can only sit outside if you have a dog or service animal". WTF?5 minutes after we order, I was told they were out of ribs so I settled for pulled pork.We had to ask for water twice.It was only 5 pm and 5 out of 6 tables were waiting on food for a good 25-30 minutes. I hate to see what happens at 7!When the food came, the baked beans were cold, the onion rings were soggy, and worst of all, the meat was bone dry, both the brisket and pork. I had to douse my meat with sauce. We had just hiked 12 miles in Staunton SP so we would have eaten a tree stump. I wasn't about to send our food back and wait another 30 minutes for them to get it right.There is a sign at the hostess stand warning "Men Cooking". Should've taken more heed.

As locals we want this place to be successful for its owners and our community. Had the 2 meat Dinner. I wanted the appetizer of wings and ribs as a selection for one of my meats. Both were not available. Not good on a menu that is limited in selections already and on a Wed night, first opening day of the weekdays. Brisket was cooked excellent. Moist with a mild smoke flavor. Sausage was okay. Okra was crunchy but bland. Coleslaw was really good. Service was really good, very courteous young lady.Tips going forwardFigure out how to make your full menu available The dry rub advertised for the wings, put shakers on the tables with the rub in them. I bet the rub would be good sprinkled on other items like the okra.Service was good but hold on the check until the guest is finished eating the main course. Give a little more time to consider dessert, or having a cocktail after dinner and playing pool.Consider putting your frito pie on the menu with brisket. This was the novel item that pulled us over to your original food truck. Little less sugar in the beans. Sauces on the table were both good but add one for the southern bbq people who like the darker, thicker sauces that are more savory than twangy. All in all a nice meal and we will be back. What the heck happened? Food was horrible. Mashed potato was a boiled red potato with tasteless goo and an obviously frozen fried chicken fried steak patty and green beans in a paper container. I ordered a turkey sandwich with onion rings cut the mayo and got a turkey sandwich with mayo and fries. Everybody was finished eating before I got my sandwich back. No refills on drinks. A waste of 80Dollars.

We were seated right away at some picnic tables in the restaurant. Not my favorite type of seating arrangement but this place is kind of rustic so it's acceptable. They have a bunch of giant tvs in the restaurant but when we were there they were all off. The drink menu was on a QR code on the table which is pretty normal but the wifi/ data in this area is a bit spotty. We did get the wifi password after asking, but it would be nice if it was posted up next to the host stand so we wouldn't have to bother our server with it! We got our apps super quick, onion rings and fried pickles, I'm not a fried pickle fan but the onion rings were great.The entrees were really good overall. I got the brisket sandwich and my husband got the ribs. WOW what a portion size. Sooooo many ribs came like 7 total? Wild. Definitely got some boxes for later. The brisket sandwich was great, I just kinda wish the bread was bigger to accommodate all the meat, but I also understand the inclination to fill that thing up with meat lol.My unexpected favorite was the mashed potatoes. Soooooo good and well seasoned.Overall a good experience. I would come back again with my family!

Local here, and it bums me that they are not open more often. I have eaten 2 different times from their food truck and once ordered a large amount of food for my job. All three times the food was just meh. Dry was my biggest complaint, the bbq sauce wasn't the best, at least to my liking. Now granted it may be better in restaurant, but always think about going when they are closed. The food truck was over priced for a sandwich. And nothing came with it it. I had the sandwich at the conifer fest this last summer. Also, I'm not how, but always coke, even from the food truck. Still hoping for it to improve since they are semi new still.

Great place for lunch! Friendly staff, delicious (and gluttonous) food, nice and chill atmosphere. A hit for sure!

The 3-star consensus is spot on. The Smiling Pig was just ok. I had the brisket sandwich. I wasn't appalled but also wasn't like OMG this is so wonderful I need to change my underwear now. It's pricey. A sandwich, fries, a side of green beans, and a water cost me almost $30. The menu was pretty limited. If you're not in the mood for BBQ, this is not the place for you. I miss the variety of their predecessor along with their reasonable prices. The service wasn't incredible. It took a long time to have my order taken. Once I finally got my order in, the service was ok. 50-50 chance I try it again ONLY because they're literally right at the end of my road. If not for that, I'd pass. I do hope they find their groove because I genuinely want them to succeed. Bailey needs a good restaurant there -- I'm just not sure this is it.

The restaurant is really big, and there is plenty of room for large groups. I pulled up to the bar during lunch and ordered take out. A pulled pork sandwich with waffle fries. Then the waiting began...10 minutes...20 minutes...39 minutes. To my amazement, it took 45 minutes to prepare my meal. Okay, it was probably prepared in 5 minutes but sat there on the shelf for the rest of the time. When I finally got to enjoy my lunch (felt like mid-afternoon), it was good, but not something I would go out of my way (and wait) for again.

I am from Texas so the bar is high ... this place is outstanding ... a 4+ on a scale of 5 and only a few Texas joints get a 5. Brisket and sausage were top notch and sides were very good. Smaller with a bit of a wait, but well worth it. Sweet tea surprisingly good as well!!! Enjoy.
