This place was recommended to me by my car rental specialist! It definitely doesn't disappoint!A historic (over 100 year) restaurant located in the CO college town. This place is definitely a vibe. From the written and drawn up walls, to educational and satire cartoons, it gives off that vibe it's the place to be. The service is very fast and accommodating. Even Andrew, the manager, came to check on us! He even thought we were college students. Besides all of that, the food is super delicious. I had the burnt ends max and cheese, and my cousin built her own burger. Unfortunately, we forgot there is something called "altitude sickness" so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we should have. I'll definitely come back here when I visit!

The Sink is well known on the Hill in Boulder. They sponsored an event today with the fraternity/sorority council to make a donation to LA wildfire relief. As longtime local residents and supporter of this classic restaurant we joined them. We went early, wanting to walk down while it was reasonably warm and so we could be back before dark when the crowds of students would make getting a seat difficult husband had a nice Amber Ale from Fort Collins and the seasonal special of chicken pot pie, which comes with some biscuits and a side salad. He really enjoyed it and found the portion very filling too. I had the French Onion soup which suited the weather as well as my appetite. As we were finishing up, the tables started filling up as dreams of students started coming for dinner and the fundraiser. It's nice to see such local businesses helping other communities these days, where tragedies have made huge impacts. We will be back another time to continue our support which began in 1974 under an earlier owner. The Sink is classic to Boulder and you don't have to be a student to enjoy it.

Visiting CO and my husband found this gem and I couldn't have been happier. We arrived on Friday 8/30/24 and as a college town I was certain we would be waiting however, we added our name to this list and were seated in about 15 mins.Service was great here. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I will say, ceiling is low and the sound can be a bit overwhelming especially if it is peak time. I loved all the art and writing on the walls and some were freakin hilarious!Husband ordered BBQ Bacon burger and I had the famous Buff Mac. We did order a michelada as well.Burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potatoe fries were his favorite! I had to snag a few and they were the perfect amount of sweet and so crispy!Guy Fieri's pic and review - I knew I had to get the buff Mac and man oh man, this was amazing! Cheesy, full of flavor, plenty of buffalo sauce and blue cheese with every bite!Michelada was okay, nothing to rave about but that's okay. The food def made up for it.A wonderful place and a place we will def return to in the area....in the mean time I will try and make my own buff mac haha!

Another awesome lunch here. I had the bourbon jalapeno burger as did one of my friends. Other orders for my group were the cowboy Reuben and a grilled cheese. Everyone was extremely happy with their food. During lunch I realized that my first visit to the Sink (then known as Herbie's) was when I interviewed for my job at CU in 1977. I've had at least 100 meals here over 48 years, so many great memories! Keep it coming! And please please bring back, again, the Tres Fuegos burger!

This place has such a cool underground interior filled with a ton of artwork painted on the wall and graffiti everywhere. The service was meh and left much to be desired in terms of attentiveness. I thought the chicken nachos weren't that good but I would definitely get the buff mac again.

A very tasty restaurant in Boulder! I loved the extremely cool artwork, including the pictures of famous visitors, and the service was absolutely great.I liked the food too! The Buffalo cauliflower bites were baked perfectly without too much breading and a delicious sauce. The Mac n cheese side was also wonderful; I loved the crisp broiled top.The burger was a bit of a miss for me--i thought it was under seasoned and could have really benefited from more acidity and salt. The fries were also served pretty cold. This place seems to be a boulder institution, and I would definitely come back again!

No trip to Boulder would be complete as an alumn without eating at The Sink. Crowded and dark inside, it brings back all of the memories of college. Sinkburgers all around just can't be beat! Be prepared on game days and weekends to be WAITING.

Food and service were good but the order didn't come as ordered with the right sauce for the pizza. No accommodations offered other than an apology which was a little disappointing.

Ok so boulder co near campus ddd. It was ok. The small cup french onion was great. Burger was grass fed upgrade. Greecy and warm tomatoes yuck. Fries were ok. Staff was nice but loud like they are yelling at you. But nice and no wait. Would not go back.

The customer service at The Sink is awesome and the buffalo chicken mac is hands down my favorite dish. The atmosphere reminded me of a restaurant in my hometown Steamboat Springs which made the experience even better.
