The Rusty Tapp Colorado BBQ & Catering

With family visiting, we picked up an assortment of barbecued chicken and turkey, along with several sauces. All delicious! The server who gave us the order was friendly and helpful. Over all a great first experience!

So my friend recommend this place. I was skeptical, as we all know pit fiend in Denver is the best Texas brisket you can get outside of Texas (or hometown bbq in NYC). But figured I'd give it a shot. And let's face it, brisket isn't the only BBQ! So let's try this spot for pulled pork. She told me to get pulled pork on Texas toast with the sweet BBQ which is exactly what I did. Not going to lie it was good. Zero fat, pulled with skill. They take their time you can tell that. The fries were awesome, the big wide steak fries. All the sauces were good, Espically the sweet BBQ. Would Definatly come here again!--John

Littleton is lucky to have such a great BBQ spot. If you live near there, are on the 470, or want great food and an easy trip, this is the spot for you. After cruising Yelp looking for a new place, I decided to stop here after a meeting. What a great decision. The egg rolls were a great start - but it's a lot for one person. The texture is spot-on, and the mix of ingredients is ideal. I'm not a big beans guy, and I barely noticed them. The meats were very, very good. I could tell from the smell walking in that I would be happy, but I was still surprised by how good the ribs are. The brisket is a must-try, but the ribs were my favorite. While debating what side to get, one of the guys at the bar told me to try the mac and cheese. It was another good decision. It might have even been the best part of the meal. And that is saying is a lot. Despite being so full I was worried about falling asleep driving back home, I decided to try the banana pudding. #YOLOAnd it was worth it. You can tell everything is made in-house. It had big taste without being too heavy. I'm already amped thinking about what I'll get next time I'm there. Moreover, the bartender Kasie was excellent. Fast, courteous, and helpful, but still gives you space. She was a 5/5 just like the food.

My husband and I love Rusty Tapp so much I decided to spread the "love" and cater lunch for our favorite Discount Tire store.The technicians were thrilled and raved about the bbq.I am a sucker for pulled pork and theirs is particularly yummy...very moist and flavorful. My husband always orders the brisket.Either which way you go, you won't be disappointed in The Rusty Tapp.KC's behind the bar. Stop by, say "hello" and grab some "Q"!

My wife and I loves our BBQ. Some of these reviews must have gone on an off night. We decided to try RT for the first time and what a treat! The place was clean (always a must), Lauren was a delight, and the food was tender and tasty. We will certainly be regulars at Rusty Tapp!BTW: a Blue Moon would put me over the moon!

I went in for the first time today ordered a half a pound of brisket and a half a pound of hot wings. I live less than five minutes away from the place so I took it home when I got home. The brisket was like chewing shoe leather very little flavor the barbecue sauce I got was the hot sauce and that is now in the trashcan has the most horrible taste you ever had the hot links that I have believe it or not a sausage is dry I don't get it I don't know if they have such low volume if this was yesterday or the day before food but it is not good. Save your money. Worst $29 I've ever spent.

Been here several times in past few years Good food, good bbq & friendly service Worth the stop

The brisket was like mush. Also, the onion rings were burnt and not very tasteful. Don't waste you money.

Service was great. Food wasn't great. Fried pickles were what would total up to the amount of one hole pickle and was $9. Pulled pork sandwich was dry and not much bbq. Sweet potato fries were overcooked and cold. Coleslaw had zero flavor.
