The Poke Story Southglenn

I can't believe I've failed to review this place yet! I come here a lot. It is really close to my house and I love getting takeout here. Hubs and I always create our own bowls. I always get the spicy shoyu sauce and Hubs does the yuzu ponzu and we both love our choice. The bowls come with free miso. It's always fresh. I will continue to patronize again and again!

My husband grabbed takeout from Poke Story and we were both very happy with our meals. First, it was super fast, I couldn't believe how quickly he was home with our food. More importantly, the food was very fresh and tasty. I had the Poke Story Bowl with the purple rice. The fish was good quality, the toppings were flavorful, and it was a good portion size- enough for leftovers. I would definitely recommend this place!

He wanted to eat something else so I went in for my lunch. Chose to get a bowl of white rice with two scoops of ahi tuna and poke story sauce. Cucumber, edamame, grape tomatoes and hijiki seaweed. Seaweed salad, crab salad, avocado (extra charge), masago, bonito flakes and furikake. A free cup of miso soup too! And I ordered three Nutella taiyaki waffles. They were freshly made and smelled so good. The place is clean and the associate was pleasant. Small shared parking lot. The meal was good and very healthy. Not my fav type of white rice but it was fine. The taiyaki waffles were delish.

Food is great but service is terrible. I have ordered this place a few times but this last experience lost our business.We ordered delivery through Grubhub. We ordered 3 poke bowls and a burrito. They made 4 poke bowls. Which is their issue and not ours. So I requested a refund via Grubhub.for the missing burrito. I then called the restaurant to let them know.They then called me back saying I only ordered 3 poke bowls and were yelling saying I didn't order a burrito as it was missing from the updated receipt. The lady was arguing and screaming at me and I had to hang up. Awful customer service. I love the food but will not return as I don't appreciate being yelled at for their partnership with Grubhub

We've ordered from here a few times now and they've been consistent. They have all fresh ingredients and good portion size. I usually order salmon and spicy Tuna and I am fairly satisfied. My husband usually orders three different fish and his bowl is a bit bigger than mine. Their spicy actually has a kick, which a lot of other shops don't have. Their siracha aioli definitely added a bit of spice to my bowl. We tried their violet rice today and it was pretty good . It didn't have too much of a strong flavor, but I like to think it's healthier for you. Solid poke spot and we'll order from them again.

Fresh, vibrant food with great options for your poke bowl or burrito! Wonderfully kind staff & super clean. They carry these pudding filled pastries shaped like fish that look amazing. Boba too!

How have I put off reviewing this place for so long? I've come here at least 15 times in the past few years. I haven't found any poke spot that can come close to the freshness and quality of ingredients. I get the two scoop bowl with salmon and ahi with Violet rice, which is their own house blend. The staff is always friendly, accommodating and ready to help. The store is clean and I never hesitate to sit down and eat there. They have some of the best sauces (wasabi ginger aioli is the bees knees) around and I strongly encourage you to give it a try!

We have a lot of poke options in Denver - and this one has helped us fill the pandemic hole left with the poke city at Arapahoe and I25.I always hated the nickle and dime of poke concept, so Poke Story fits the Poke City hole1) Great meat and other options. You pay by the scoop (not different bowl sizes)2) good add on's I never felt like I was missing anything3) served with that comp miso soup. yummy!I will note they have those yummy waffle fish and bobba tea if you need something sweet to go with it.Definitely a great option if you want something sushi/seafood quick and don't have time for Land of Sushi (across University)

My favorite poke place in town. Great service and amazing fresh food! Always hits the spot!

Great service and great food!!! It was my first time there and I tried it based on the great reviews. It did not disappoint. It's my new favorite!!
