The Pie Queen

Omg!! Chocolatina was the epic highlight of our Rocktober party! She say two super fun songs (even got some of my accountant friends out of their seats to sing and dance), announced the costume contest winners, and of course AMAZING pies!! Thank you!!

Stopped in Bruz brewery for drinks and the pie queen happened to be there. We picked up an apple/apricot, an Elvis, and a passion fruit. Everything was so delicious. We love the crust especially. The is no skimping on ingredients.

I just picked up a fresh Key Lime pie from Chocolatina Q Dessert at Bruz Brewery. How much fun to follow Martin Howard on the Pie Queen Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/ChocolatinaQ/ A trained pastry chef, Martin bakes small pies and either delivers to your home with a two pie minimum or you can pick up at spots around Denver. There is also a party package which includes a song sung by Chocolatina herself. If it had not been so cold tonight, I would have stayed at Bruz Brewery for a show by Chocolatina. Now lets get down to the business of Pie. I am going to quote The Pie Queen as I could not say it better. "Petite pies baked by an award winning pastry chef. Emphasizing local produce, quality ingredients with a splash of drag queen fabulosity!" My pie was so good and from reading the website, I knew exactly which Sprouts was wiped out of Key Limes. The filling was tart, the cookie crust was perfect for the tart limes, and the merengue, oh my it was piled high as a drag queen's hair. These pies are a perfect size for two and are packaged with a cute pie slicer; I also lucked out and had a small bottle of caramel sauce included.

This is an amazing service! Not only is Chocolatina a lovely and entertaining performer, she's a VERY talented baker! I ordered the Saturday delivery for my husband's birthday while I was out of town for work. He LOVED it! And thank goodness I got to taste the pies! Peach, key lime, mushroom/spinach quiche, and vegetable quiche. All 4 were delicious! Seriously some of the best pies we've ever had!

Amazing pies!! Truly great quiche as well. And how can you possibly go wrong when the delivery comes with a song and fun conversation?! Chocolatina is amazing! Highly recommend!

Chocolatina is the BEST! Not only can she sing, she can bake and make the recipient feel special. I live out of town and was looking for something special for a friend who was in the hospital during her birthday. (And pie, it had to include pie.) This was perfect! Chocolatina came in with the pies and her speaker and it went well. And the pies? OMG! Good crust, good filling. The birthday girl was happy and everyone else enjoyed it too. High recommendation. You won't regret it.

Simply the best pies! I have picked up delicious pies at locations and had The Pie Queen delivery for a surprise. What a delight.

I attended a wedding last night and met The Pie Queen. Martin made the wedding cakes as well as tiny pies for the guests. I'm not a big fan of pie, so the one pie I planned on turned into 5. I had to try most of them. The gluten-free pie crust was delicious. Who knew rice crispies would be such a friendly alternative. The wedding cake was moist and so flavorful. Lemon poppy seed cake with passion fruit filling and white chocolate. I despise white chocolate. Martin told me good white chocolate should have a slight yellow tint. I tried it. It's still not my favorite type of chocolate, and was much better than I imagined. What a wonderful addition to the night that they had such an amazing pastry chef.

Chocolatina visited our home (socially distanced outdoors)for my husband's 80th birthday, a gift from our niece. We coordinated with a ZOOM call including family members from all over the country. Temperature outside was 4 degrees, what a trooper! The pies, oh the pies, two quiches and one berry/cherry, one key lime were outstanding. It was as though we had tasted pie for the first time! Do yourself a favor, try The Pie Queen just once and prepare to be amazed.

Today we had The Pie Queen come over to play for my Mom who will soon go into surgery. She is a huge fan of Rupaul's Drag Race so for The Pie Queen to visit her today was a special moment! She enjoyed Martin Howard's singing to her as well as his presence! He has a wonderful voice and has just an amazing personality! I will recommend The Pie Queen to everyone I know who Loves pies and Drag Queens, a superior 10 out of 10 stars! Kudos to You Martin Howard, you are awesome and once again Thank You for making my mom's day Today!
