We sat quickly with a call ahead. We didn't get a table by the window (you have to reserve these) but you could still see the planes from our seat and the kids watched at the window periodically. Service was quick and food came out SO fast. Definitely looks and feels high end so I was afraid my kids would be out of place but luckily it wasn't super busy so it was fine to let them roam around while we ate. The food was good. Each entree comes with a bakery item which satisfied my savory + sweet craving. I got the chilaquiles and the flavors were awesome my only critique is the chips were soggy. Pancakes were thick and fluffy, bakery muffins are huge and dense and delicious.

This place is a delightful find. Tucked away in the Centennial Airport, you'll find incredible food with ideal service. I found them looking for Beef Wellington and ended up there for happy hour, which was a good turn of events for me. The HH menu has options for food and drink that are outliers for quality and price. The interior is warm and cozy but with plenty of room. You dine in a relaxed and upbeat environment. The staff is 10/10. They are friendly, fast, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy being there. My bartender was Mac, and the service was the best you can have. The food was a huge surprise. How they provide what they do with the speed and quality they do is baffling. I had the Blue Crab Nachos and Birria Street Tacos. And they were show stoppers.File The Perfect Landing under "Destination Location."

Ambiance: The restaurant is situated on the Centennial Airport runway which is really cool, you get to see the airplanes and helicopters come and go. There are plenty of large windows to sit and watch, we brought our 2 year old son for his birthday and he was absolutely amazed with all the planes.Service: We did make a reservation we weren't sure how busy they would be on a Thursday afternoon but we were sat down right away with no wait and the restaurant was pretty empty. Our server wasn't the friendliest, maybe he was having a bad day but we weren't overly impressed with the service we received from him. Food did take a while to come out as well.Food: We ordered the crab cakes ant truffle fries as an appetizer, the crab cakes were really good and had great flavor. The truffle fries could have used a little more time in the fryer, they were very soft and oily but the seasoning was good. For our entree we ordered the fish and chips, the cod pieces were a little small and lacked seasoning and the fries had the same issues as the truffle fries very soft and oily. Overall this a great place to check out especially if you have kids that are obsessed with planes and helicopters, the food was decent but a little pricey but it's a cool experience to eat on a runway. If you do bring kids I didn't see that they had high chairs or boosters so plan accordingly and the kids menu options are limited.

Came here for brunch and if you are coming to eat without a reservation just turn around. I heard them say 1hr -1.5 hrs to others. We were seated right away with resys and place was packed. I got the crab cake Benedict which the crab cake was awful so soggy and breaded but all else of items were ok. My son got the kids pancakes and this is an adult meal of 2 regular size pancakes and 3 pcs of bacon. The pancakes were good though, I like their bakery items you can order except we asked for toast with butter and jam them asked again when it just came with butter and finally we got seeded raspberry jamIn a cup so I guess no packs or any variety. Overall it's an ok place their dinner items looked good. Maybe I'll try again.

Great views! Super fun to watch the plans land and take off while enjoying the company of our table. Fun spot to take out of town guests. They have a piano with a bar around it that I would love to sit at on my next visit. The hostess had a really bad attitude but our server was lovely. She was attentive and quick. We went for brunch and the food was delicious and well portioned. Great cocktail selection.

I had not been to The Perfect Landing in years but the girls wanted to try happy hour there. My first impression was that everything still looked dated and smelled musty which I hadn't expected because I heard they re-did everything after a fire. The whole experience was disappointing. Their website says happy hour is from 3-6PM and the online menu shows quite a few food options in 3 different price ranges. The reality is that happy hour food isn't available until 4 and the few items they offered are all priced at $12.00. The menu they gave us said that they had half priced wine, cocktails and beer but the bartender, Quinn, said the menu was wrong and wine was really buy one get one for $1. She also told us their website was wrong about everything but they couldn't fix it. Quinn told us they had a different website but she was unable to tell us what it was or bring it up on her phone. The bar area only has tables for 2 people so we sat at the bar because there were 3 of us. We had ordered our first round of drinks but after finding out that all the information on their website, and parts on the menu presented at the restaurant, were not true, we decided to leave and go somewhere more reliable. It's unfortunate that they couldn't update their online details or put notes on their printed menus so people could make better informed decisions about going there.

Happy hour at this restaurant was far from perfect. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm and sat at the bar, expecting a refreshed interior since the place had been closed for a while following a fire this summer. However, the décor remained outdated, just as it had been before. When we mentioned we were there for happy hour, the bartender informed us that it didn't start until 4 pm, and handed us the happy hour menu. This was confusing because their website listed happy hour as running from 3-6 pm, with 16 food items priced between $5-$7. To our surprise, the menu we received was entirely different--only 9 items, all priced at $12.When we pointed out the discrepancy using the information from their website, the bartender told us that the website was outdated and couldn't be updated because the person in charge was no longer with the restaurant. She didn't even know the URL of the supposed new website. Despite this, she couldn't honor the prices listed on the old site.We decided to stay and ordered a round of drinks, relying on the happy hour menu she had given us, which stated that select wines, liquor, and beer were 50% off. When we asked about the happy hour wines, we were told there weren't any 50%-off wines; instead, they were $14 a glass with a second glass for $1. When we asked why the menu said otherwise, she admitted she wanted to correct the menus herself but wasn't allowed by management.Disappointed, we finished the one round of drinks we ordeeed and left. It's sad to see that this place is no longer what it once was.

Updating my review of the Perfect Landing to let people know they've re-opened after the fire earlier this summer. Still the same great spot: food is awesome, service is fast & friendly (they *do* get busy), & the environment can't be beat, especially if you're an aviation enthusiast. Reservations strongly recommended for brunch and/or special days.
