Wow! Where to start?! I hadn't been to an OPH in many, many years and just went again about a year and a half ago (and several times since!). There is so much to choose from on their menu, but do yourself a favor and get the Dutch Baby. Me and The Hubs get that and an omelette of some sort with potatoes and sausage and share everything. Their portions are huge! The first time we went, we each ordered a breakfast entree of our own AND a Dutch Baby to share and it was WAY too much food for two people.Their staff are friendly and incredibly efficient and service has always been great. These folks really hustle to get the food out and get the tables turned. They don't rush you or anything, but once you have left your table someone is out there bussing for the next guest (a big plus if you're waiting for a table). It doesn't matter what day of the week we've been, it's ALWAYS been busy - mobbed, in fact. Get on the waitlist before you get there.

Original Pancake House is one of my favorite places & we typically dine in at 6 am on a Saturday morning, scattered throughout the year. This visit I needed to order to go, we were taking breakfast to my mom in back in the Springs. At opening, I went in & asked to do a take out order. I was helped immediately & my order was put in the system within minutes. I ordered 2 ham & cheese omelets with cheddar & swiss cheese, one Canadian Bacon & Eggs, well done Canadian bacon, over easy eggs, sub a bagel instead of the pancakes, & lastly, my meal, the Danish Kijafa Cherry Crepes, adding the sour cream filling. I also included an orange juice, coffee, side of sausage patties & bag of ground coffee. From start to finish, I was in & out in 17 minutes for a decent amount of food. The food was packaged well, & hot when it was brought out. After the drive back to Colorado Springs, I was fairly impressed that most items were still warm. Unfortunately, the reason for my reduction to 4 stars was that my crepes felt "unfinished". There was no sour cream filling, which was REALLY disappointing, I really enjoy how it rounds out the flavor of the dish. There was a fraction of the sauce, thinly in the bottom, & no powdered sugar. The cherries were there, but it lacked in those other areas. I ate it, as it wasn't bad, just not the goodness I've grown accustomed to dining in. Thank you for having staff that were polite, & quick!! My only recommendation would be to ensure, if requested, there's sour cream filling added. Especially when you're charged extra for it. I'm sure we'll be back soon, dining in as we usually do!

Great spot for a consistent, quality breakfast. My must orders never change from the bacon and one of their fruit pancakes, both are delicious and you get a good amount of delicious food for the price you pay. My favorite breakfast spot in Denver with all this taken into account. Parking is available in the lot for this mall and the restaurant can get busy so it's a good idea to take advantage of their waitlist on Yelp. I typically will check the wait before I leave so that there's not too much time between arriving and getting seated. The staff here are friendly and efficient and I never have to wait long to get a coffee refill.

We are regulars at the Original Pancake House in DTC. We love the menu. The portions are huge and delicious. I've tried almost everything on the menu in the last couple of years, and it's all delicious with lots of savory options, which most places lack. The bacon is to die for. We sat out on the patio for a quieter table with overhead heaters for the colder mornings. The service is excellent, too.This place was PACKED. Free parking. Prices are reasonable for a place like this.

I've reviewed the Cherry Hills location in the past so figured I'd share the love for their DTC location as well. We don't have a favorite location as they both are excellent overall with service & food. Love their waitlist feature here via Yelp as they are always slammed on weekends. Our most favorite dishes are the Green Chili Omelette (sub home fries) and their Dutch Baby Pancake! It's my favorite restaurant to take friends & family to!

Umm, umm good. Service is always EXCELLENT ! Took my Daughter and Grandson from Texas. The atmosphere was nice and had friendly sounds from all the people, conversatineating and just having a good ole' time. The only complaint I have is, I got full. If only Yelp had more stars.

The service was really good and our food was really good. But like any restaurant nowadays it's very noisy inside.We would definitely go back again though .
