The Original Pancake House - Cherry Hills

One word: drool!! I have never had anything at the OPH that I didn't love. Not just like, but love! The Continental Crepes are my absolute favorite indulgence, at times taking turns with the Dutch Baby. The biscuits and gravy are also excellent, as are the thick slices of bacon and freshly squeezed OJ. You really can't make a wrong choice here - everything is delicious!The wait can be lengthy (but worth it), so get on the Yelp wait list early. Don't plan to linger, though... the fast pace of the place during busy times may make you feel like you are holding things up if you're hanging around a bit too long.

Amazing food and service. The wait is always long and for good reason. The food is consistently delicious and the portions are huge (enough to take home).Fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee is strong.

Always consistent in service and quality! There is a reason they are always packed frozen to end in this place.

If you like bacon and pancakes this is your spot!! The wait can be long but use the Yelp waitlist and it will be your BFF. Plenty of tables and an extra outdoor tent area also. Fast paced and quick service!

This restaurant has two locations relatively close to each other. So if you're meeting your party there, make sure everyone knows which location to meet at. We went to the Cherry Hills location because it is located near Trader Joe's and we wanted to stop there after breakfast.This is an AMAZING breakfast place. They are super busy but the service is fast and friendly. Their menu is HUGE! They use homemade whipped cream which elevates everything, especially the hot chocolate.We had a large party so we tried lots of items. Everyone agreed everything tasted so good and the portions are very generous.This is the perfect breakfast place to stop at right after arriving from a flight and then stopping at Trader Joe's for drinks and snacks for the hotel room.

Food and service were great. My kids got the pancakes and loved them. My boyfriend got berry pancakes and loved them as well. We both got the sausage- he got links and I got the patties. It was good, just had a tiny bit of bite. My kids said it was spicy, but kids think anything that's not bland is spicy. Haha. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a good breakfast. It's not a cheap option, but it's a good one.

Denver omelet was outstanding, reminiscent of a home style mac & cheese casserole in omelet form. All are baked to order with great service and an old style albeit busy ambience, making for an altogether pleasant experience. Pancakes are also special here, the classic buttermilk pancakes are soft, buttery and subtly sweet, and tastes of the illusive buttermilk essence any pancake connoisseur has come to know and expect from a place such as this. Highly recommend !

Start out by saying the the manager made this right and the food was excellent as well as our server. Problem is we arrived at a busy time on a Sunday morning. Wife went in to get our name on the list and was asked by the hostess "Jennifer" if our party was all there. My wife said we were parking the car. She was told we would have about a half hour wait. First want to say their waiting area is in direct sunlight and is extremely warm. We also had a party of 7 with 3 children under 6 years old. We waited and waited, until after 55 minutes I went to ask Jennifer when we could expect a table. She began to look at her list and snapped at me when I suggested that we should be at the top somewhere. Come to find out, we were on the side of the list for parties that had not arrived yet. Again with a smart attitude, Jennifer asked if we were all there. I told her we were and had been the entire time. At that point I had had it and started getting loud. Jennifer roller her eyes, but others took notice and did seat us promptly. They did take a significant amount off the check and gifted us one of their famous apple pancakes. Manager also came and spoke to me and said Jennifer had been spoken too about her attitude. I can see not seating parties until they are all there, but once they hit the top of the list they should be asked if they are all there, not skipped over by an ignorant host. I hope they change their policy. By the way, Jennifer is not a young person. Probably at least 50 and in the hour we waited she never left the counter. She needs some work.

I NEVER write reviews. Well that's a lie, this is my first one. I don't want to write this review and you gorgeous motivated hardworking people are going to see this and want to go here to my favorite restaurant ever. It's already hard enough to get a table here justifiably. Angel has waited on me the last few days (Yeah I go here a lot now) and he's incredible the other people that have waited on me and who ever I'm with are incredible too whether it's busy or BUSY. The green chile omelet is the best breakfast food I've ever had. I'm religious now. Just go here you're welcome like live it up get the fricken Dutch pancake, smile, fresh squeezed OJ common

Best pancakes, I can't find a better place for breakfast. The staff is amazing. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes. best eggs Benedict
