The Original Chubby's Mexican Food

This review is only on the carne asada fries because that's all I came here for. The chubby size is actually quite big so if you're eating other items, size down. The fries were actually quite good and tasty. It has a nice crunch and the guacamole and sour cream were nice and didn't make the fries soggy. I ordered to go but if you're planning on dining in, the restaurant inside is kind of run down. It's an older establishment so it's understandable. There were empty liquor bottles and broken glass in the parking lot. So if you're dining in with kids, I suggest you watch where your kids are walking so they're not injured.

I asked what was recommended, and a bean and beef burrito was suggested. It was delicious and filling.

Who ever closes this shop needs to learn how a light switch works. If you are closed turn your damn open lights off. There were 6 other customers in your parking equally annoyed. Turn your damn open signs off when you close. 7310 Federal BlvdWestminster, CO 80030United States

I always love coming here and the food has never failed me! I'm a Denver native and since driving all the way to 38th to the other restaurant isn't ideal this one is just as good, in my opinion.

Understand if you order through a delivery site like Uber eats, you not only won't get the correct order but don't worry, They also Won't refund your money when you get a completely different order either. Two thumbs down

My chicken burrito came with plain boiled chicken inside of a tortilla. And nothing else on my chicken just plain boiled chicken and tortilla. No rice, no beans, no pico de gallo, no avocado or guacamole, no cheese, no sour cream. That is not called burrito that is called plain boiled chicken inside of a tortilla. Same story with the french fry burrito. It was plain french fries inside of a tortilla.They have put food on the paper plate and stapled it with another paper plate.It is dangerous to just to try to pull apart one paper plate from the other as stapler pins could easily fall into the food. I had to use the scissors to cut from the middle and try to shove the spoon inside to get the food out.But I couldn't get much food by simply cutting the plate from the middle and trying to reach all the areas of the plate, eventually I gave up and decided to just yank the plate. But before that I had to grab a pen and a paper to write down the total number of stapler pins. Then I pulled the plate apart and counted the pins again and when all the pins were accounted for that's when I felt safe eating the food. This is the strangest way of packaging food.Makes one wonder how come they are running a restaurant without plastic or foam to-go boxes. Imagine if you ordered that for your kids and they pulled them apart and stapler pin fell inside the food. They can choke and die.I saw a couple of piece of dark colored lettuce. Even though I was really hungry I threw away more than half of the food. I have called the restaurant phone a few times to be able to get a hold of them but to no avail, I am guessing they don't pick up because they know a lot of people call to complain and restaurant is just trying to ignore that.Now I know why it is called Original Chubby's. Because a few chubby people might go to there and when they see food they get disgusted by it and don't wanna eat anything anymore and that way they can to lose weight by starving.You can imagine the customer service part if this is how they serve the food. Luckily I didn't have to experience the customer service part because I got it delivered with Uber Eats.These are the pictures that evidently tell the story.

I hated this place their food tasted like diarrhea and it was a horrible experience it was also very slimy

We were very unhappy with the chubbys on 105th and Federal. We got really bad stomach aches and diarrhea. I paid about 55.00 Dollars for the order we got.

The best Chubby's in Colorado hands down... same old plates taste looks! Been this way since I was a kids.

Yes this place is so good. The green chili is the best on everything. Service is friendly. Very busy place but worth it. I highly recommend.
