At Morrison Inn I was in the gift shop with a friend. This review is on my experience there. I looked at many of the things they had for sale. The Sales lady was pleasant and chatting with my friend. I came across a few little wooden coasters. There were only the two and of different designs. What you see is what she has. They were well made and cute and about the cost that I'd expect to buy in a little town souvenir shop for a total of $14.10.The shops in the area had much clothing and Knick knacks. Shopping in such towns it is a never know what you will come across if you have time to lollygag and look around as part of your visit.

Food and patio are quite average here. Not sure what is so famous about the patio, but watch out for the bee hive in the lizard on the wall. Waitress is too professional, more like an old robot. Food is below average. The mini chili were a bit cold and boring. Tacos were classic cheese and lettuce with below average meat inside. No chips were given and the large chimichanga with chicken and mushroons was probably best entree. Margarita needed more ice.

I ate lunch here with a few of my colleagues for a holiday meal. The Morrison Inn is located in downtown Morrison at the corner of Bear Creek Ave and Stone St. The first thing I noticed about this place was how clean it is! Overall, the restaurant has a nice vibe. We sat at a table next to the front window. I liked how there were curtains to block the rays of the sun. Our waitress was very friendly and offered fantastic service. I ordered the steak fajitas. It comes with the standard Mexican fried ride, sour cream, and pico de gallo. They also provide you with complimentary chips and salsa. I liked the chips and salsa. My steak fajitas were very good. What I enjoyed a lot about this meal was that it didn't leave me feeling stuffed or overstuffed. I felt it was plenty of food for one meal. One of my friends ordered the fried ice cream. I wanted to pass on dessert. However, we shared the fried ice cream. It's plenty for three people. Loved the taste of cinnamon in the dessert. I recommend getting this dessert and splitting it amongst your lunch or dinner party. It's a wonderful treat to booked a good meal.Overall, thumbs up from me. I enjoyed my dining experience here. I would definitely return. If you haven't been, check it out sometime.

We had the Delano's and chimichangas. They were honestly good and reasonably priced. Given quality, incredible views and very good live entertainment, overall 4.

I loved their ambiance upstairs on their patio. Loved the guac and salsa and I ordered the Burrito that are Juarez and it was an A++. Finished it all. My mother had to be skinny margarita and she commented how yummy it was. Love this place and the servers are fantastic! I'd definitely go back.

Had dinner and drinks here with large group before a concert at Red Rocks. They were very accommodating and food was good, beer was cold and music on the outdoor patio was solid. Highly recommend the street tacos and fajitas.

I tried the Burrito that ate Juarez (with carnitas) today. It was delicious. For what it is, this place is great, and it was decorated for Christmas.

Second time coming here, I like to support local businesses so I returned. Our waitress was pleasant and very attentive. My wife and I both ordered the street tacos with rice and beans. There was one other table that I could see and they were just hanging chit chatting. Our Daughter ordered from the kids menu. I ordered my steak Rare which I prefer medium rare but non steakhouses always over cook so I felt I was safe. When the food arrived it was Luke warm at best, both the steak and sides. My steak was medium and my wife requested no jalapeños and hers was loaded with jalapeños. Beans were very blah and rice OK. The waitress asked us if we wanted chips and salsa which we said YES to because I feel it should be mandatory to have complimentary chips/ salsa at a Mexican restaurant, atleast one basket. When the bill came we noticed we had been charged for the chips and salsa and our Daughter's drink which came with the meal, we mentioned it to the waitress and she wasn't sure if it was included or not so I asked her to check for future reference. She never returned, we finally just paid the bill and left. We won't be back and if you visit, watch out for the extra charges.

I haven't been to the Morrison Inn in about a year. I'm not sure if it is under new ownership/management, but it has gone downhill. It used to be a favorite that we would bring family and friends to. Not anymore.Service was slow and orders were wrong. Prices were higher and quality was lower. Casa Bonita 5 years ago bad. Just very disappointing.
