Cool bar/restaurant attached to the Boulder Theater. Grab a drink or some pizza before heading into a show and you'll be able to go right into the theater in the back of the lounge!I had a pizza of which I can't remember the name, but if it says it's spicy, it's Gonna Be spicy! Flavors and textures were really good but the spice level almost made it uncomfortable to eat. Not necessarily their fault, but neither my friend or I enjoyed the amount of heat. I still think this is a great place to come grab a drink or a bite before a show.

It was slightly better than anticipated and my slice of their mushroom pizza served a purpose time and didn't get a chance to eat before getting there. I highly suggest you feed yourself before you arrive... even there for you plan on being among the first 50 in the lounge so you get early entry to the venue. The meat pizzas did look better than my mushroom pizza but YMMV. Regardless I suggest you arrive fed and order a couple drinks.

Let me break this down by category:Decor: nice!Service: fast and professional!Food: welllll...So, the appetizer is a bland hummus with a crispy flatbread, and sliced baby carrots. Yeah, you heard me: they took the time to carefully cut about 4 baby carrots in half. It was... strange. I guess a carrot is a carrot so oh well, but the point of a baby carrot is that it is already bite size? It's just odd--I don't know what else to say. The flatbread pizza comes on the same flatbread served with the hummus, which I do like. Again, the presentation was just weird. My date got this nice panini served on a slate stone, and the pizza came on a plate that didn't fit the flatbread on it. The final thing I'll say is that the paninis seem to be the best thing here, so start there! The service is swift and helpful.

Man...we sat at the bar while we were waiting for a show to start at the Boulder Theater, and it seriously pained me to see the bartenders in such shotty moods. Completely dismissive, didn't crack a smile whatsoever, and had a terrible energy that should warrant them to quit the service industry altogether. I understand if you're having a bad day or you can't stand the theater crowd, but if your guests are making the effort to be cheery with you, maybe TRY to reciprocate? Also, the hummus plate was probably the worst hummus I have ever tasted. It was thick, chunky, and had a strange flavor that had me wondering how long it had been sitting in their fridge. Likely won't be back unless it's for a quick drink only. Can't speak for the drinks since I only had snacks.

The lounge is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in boulder. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive in addition to being great people to talk to. The food offers a lot from late night sandwiches to cheese boards and charcuterie with high quality ingredients. He proscuttio wrapped dates and mushroom tosta are My favorite- I just never get sick of it. Also they have a pretty decent wine list that is approachable and sophisticated but not pretentious. It's a great place to hang on a weeknight or before a show!

Really good food. Friendly and speedy service. Good beer and wine. Perfect for a quick pre-show bite.

Love this place. Cool, dimly lit lounge feel. The bar is less crowded to get a drink during shows than the boulder theatre (you can bring drinks into the theater). Food is good, I was all about the sandwiches with fine cheeses and meats to soak up the alcohol.

They hit the nail on the head at The Lounge. They merged the neighborhood-y and friendly dynamic, with a hip chilled sophistication. It doesn't just represent both vibes, but it is actually divided into two parts. On the one side, they keep it simple with the bar, so you can join your friends and it feels like a local friendly bar where you can meet the regulars. BUT, let's say you're with a date and you want a little more vibe and ambience. You want the low trendy furniture, fireplace, and rad art on the walls... a minimal kind of trendy feel. Well, cross over to the other side and find yourself a little corner spot. The Lounge also has some great bruschetta... a variety of styles. Plus, it's connected to the Boulder Theatre, so it's perfect for a little pre-show nosh and beverage. The Lounge is really good for Boulder, it's another option to check out and the hip side really makes you feel like you're in a more chill LA or NYC bar. Just a tad, it's not overdone. It's cool, definitely worth a side trip off of pearl.

Stopped for dinner and drinks pre show.Server came quickly but was rushed and couldn't be bothered with basic pleasantries. The food was mediocre. Veggie sandwich was mostly bread, there weren't enough ingredients to separate the two halves at all. Salad and flat bread pizza were basic. My beer was flat and warm. I asked about other choices and told the server about the state of my beer. She couldn't care less and forgot to bring my replacement. The whole experience was a bummer. We probably would have overlooked the down sides had the service been pleasant, but our server was downright surly and seemed really unhappy to be there.

Delicous! Great atmosphere and drinks. I had the house red and then Pinot. My boyfriend liked the beers on tap. Best locals in town with Asher organic and mtn sun.
