The Lake House

What a fun spot. My friend introduced me because we both love taking our dogs to Cherry Creek Dog Park. The Lake House reopened during quarantine with many restrictions around food and social distancing, but we still had a blast. Parking was awful because the main entrance was blocked off, so we found a nearby school lot.It was a nice walk down to the marina. We headed straight to the bar and ordered White Claws and shots. Not sure if this is their typical alcohol selection or limited because of COVID-19. Either way, there was one bartender juggling all the patrons, and she was always friendly. Seating lined the outdoor patio facing the beach.My friend said there used to be live music here, but I guess we'll have to wait until the pandemic is over. For food, they only had basic hot dogs roasting in the oven and bags of chips. For how much we drank, I'm grateful there was anything. Overall it's a decent pub and a perfect spot to take the pups after a day in Cherry Creek park.

The Lake House just opened, saw the sign, so my wife and I stopped by just to get an idea of what it was like.We just had a beverage at the bar and an appetizer, but both the house beverage and the appetizer were great. The bartender was friendly, explained how he made the drinks, and of course since the place is brand new it was very bright and clean.We checked out the menu and saw several items that interested us.We will be back for dinner soon!

I've been missing out on this great place...we have been living next to this venue for about 4 years, and a fellow Yelper invited us to join him at the Marina at Cherry Creek. In the summer they offer weekly live concerts...usually a tribute band. The one we went to was Led Zeppelin, and I have to say they were pretty darn good. The building it self is pretty cool, pretty modern and big enough to host any venue you would need...weddings or corporate events. Outside is a beach type setting overlooking the reservoir and the marina right off the shore line, where you can rent boats of all types and jet skis.They usually have a few options for food...1 being hamburgers, hotdogs and brats, and another specialty type...the one we went to had an Asian style stir fry. It was pretty tasty.Good place to hang out with friends and family, def a good place to take the kids as well.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. If you are looking for a venue to host an event - wedding, party, etc... Look elsewhere. EVERYONE here is insanely RUDE. We had a date to come take a tour for our wedding, confirmed the date/time multiple times, drove 2 hours to take a tour and when we got here they told us that there was a wedding happening shortly that was more important, and that we should have scheduled a tour for Tuesday or Thursday. We called the marina manger and he asked how he could help, I told him why we were there and he proceeded to tell me that I gave him too much information and to go have a drink a the bar. Done and done... So rude, don't waste your time or money... And the venue was dirty and gross!! I have emails and screen shots of text messages to prove all of this that I can share if necessary!

Great venue to watch Wednesday night concerts on the lake! HOWEVER... VERY rude front door staff. You are immediately created by hired event staff who are very nice but if you don't have a ticket you purchased online have been instructed to tell you if you don't have advanced purchased tickets the venue is full. We asked about getting a refund for paying the $10 park pass at the gate and she said no one was there taking money and accused us of lying. Fortunately, my husband took a pick of the receipt and she immediately changed her attitude towards us. So we informed them they should update their website because 15 minutes before it said tickets were still available. So for giggles I tried purchasing two tickets to this weeks concert - The Petty Nicks - and surprise to me, tickets were still available! They said welcome in and have fun. This venue is being ran very poorly to turn away $30 at the door! The door lady was rude, the bar staff was nice and the view was awesome! I highly recommend this place for the atmosphere, but not sure I want the rudeness of the management and staff before every event. I hope this information helps you have a great night out.

First off, the location is beautiful and so is the inside. Lots of different types of venues within the building so super customizable. I was there for a holiday party on 12/2/22 and was so impressed. I got to see each space they had and it was beautifully decorated. Great staff, very clean (including the bathrooms) and I would definitely go back to any event being held there or highly considerate for my own event in the future!

I recently attended a Holiday Party at the Lake House @ Pelican Bay. It was fantastic! There was live music, multiple catering stations, firepits, a boat, excellent bartenders and staff! I would highly recommend the Lake House for any future events. It's such a beautiful beachfront property, I will definitely be coming back!
