The Hound Sports Pub + Burger

Service was amazing! AB has been the greatest despite being so busy, she ran her butt off to make sure we were served. She deserves a raise!

Great food and excellent service! Great place to watch a game too! The green chili, nachos, burger & fries and wings were all delicious and worth the $$!!

We went to The Hound for drinks & food after a round of golf at Kennedy last weekend. It's a cute little sports bar tucked away off Hampden with a decent amount of parking & surprisingly not in a strip mall like most are in the burbs! They have ~10 TVs with different games & a kitchen with a decent size menu with good variety of pub fare.The bartender was also the server for the entire place & she was running her ass off. She did well but I know that's too much to have 10 tables + a full bar on football Sunday! The beers were good, a couple were out but she didn't have time to switch out kegs. The food is what gave the place the 3 stars. The pretzels & queso looked like fried poop piles, and even more strangely, they smelled like funnel cakes. I was soooo confused by this. One came out dark brown & the other was light brown, and they just had the weirdest texture & taste. Idk what it was but it wasn't good, although the queso was tasty. We didn't trust it so we got burgers elsewhere. Maybe it was an off day for food. But I did like the dive bar vibe with the pool table & tvs to watch games! I'd maybe come back for a drink after golf, but I won't go out of my way to get back here.

Came here for a late lunch on a Monday with a co-worker. We were kindly greeted by the bartender who told us about the burger/side special happen to have-- perfect as I was in the mood for a burger. They have some high tops, outside seating or the bar... we selected the bar. I went with the classic burger with fresh jalapeños and a side of regular fries-- great burger cooked to order & amazing fries.The place was very cozy, neighborhood bar/pub feeling.I will definitely be back and recommend.

When you walk in looks like an old pub with old dark wood. I wasn't greeted at the door but I needed to piss bad. Waitress greeted me quickly. Service is good and quick. Burger was cooked perfect and tasted ok. Might go more plain next time. Fries were not very warm. So that's a issue. If I lived here maybe come by and eat wings or a burger. But not going out of my way to come here.

The beer and food is great here! But the service needs to be better. I was without a drink for at least 20 minutes. The bartender would come over glance and leave. The regulars drinks also go dry prompting them to call out for another drink. It does get busy which I understand but maybe get full staff so customers drinks aren't going dry. Being in the food industry and bar scene years ago this would be corrected fast! Maybe management needs to step it up and get things corrected here.

Raychel is just Amazing. Entire staff is incredible. Will is so welcoming as well & treats me wonderful. As far as AB in the kitchen, she's a top chef and so humble about her skills. Thomas Joel as well. Thank you for being a true welcoming neighborhood pub helping customers escape worlds stresses. Cheers to the Hound!

AB was our chef and actually came out of the kitchen and checked on us. Raychel was our server and she did NOT disappoint. She was attentive and check with us 3 or 4 times during our meal. We had the turkey bacon club (my fav!) and the the Royal burger (Very tasty! Food came quick and was fresh and delicious. If you've never been, or it's been a while, check this place out! We will be back!

Disappointing first visit. We found this restaurant using the Pub Pass App. They even advertise the Pub Pass in the men's and women's bathrooms; however, the waitress and staff knew nothing about it so they could not honor the BOGO beer that is advertised on the Pub Pass App. We had intended to have lunch and a second beer but were so disappointed we paid for one beer each and left for a nearby competitor. It wasn't the waitresses fault, she simply didn't have authorization to honor the discount. She texted the owner but did not hear back during our time there. I hope this get fixed for future patrons but we are not likely to return for a second try... Too bad as it's a convenient stop after golfing at Kennedy.

Don't bother. I can now see why this place gets so many poor reviews.Was looking for good Fish and Chips. Their website showed a Friday Fish and Chips special I thought I would try. I tried to order online but the web site would not accept my order. Since they were nearby, I opted to stop in and get a take out. When I got there I was told they would not do a take out and I had to dine in at their dingy dark dining room. Seems a poor way to run a restaurant.
