Flying Pig Burger

Our first experience at Flying Pig was thoroughly enjoyable. My son had the Flying Pig burger with side of mac n cheese. I had the Double wide with grilled veggies. Everything seemed fresh and properly cooked. I asked the 16 yr old if he would choose this burger over those from other places he likes and he said Flying Pig. The sides were quality. It is difficult to grill 3 different vegetables to the right texture. They managed to do so. My son is very picky about mac-n-cheese and he liked theirs. Our server was attentive and no one made us feel hurried. Friends came with younger children and it was quite family friendly. Great burger joint! (Trying the fish tacos next time though!)

Burger...wanted a burger. I was on the other side of town doing the after Christmas returns thing when we both needed something. After basically driving 70 miles we were back in their area so this was the suggestion.I wanted a burger and then really wanted onion rings. Luckily, they both had a great start. Didn't take me long to decide on a burger either.Things were served relatively quickly which is always a plus.Let's get down to things... The Flying pig burger... This was good. Please note there is no Lettuce, tomato , onion served with this burger. I did say no tomato when I ordered and the server didn't mention that it didn't come with it anyway as I would have asked for lettuce and onion. That's a simple enough thing and a lack of training or just general knowledge in service. Not a huge deal.This is one of those burgers that you really can't put down once you start. I was covered in egg yolk and bbq sauce.. and I am not complaining about that AT ALL!. It was really good and hit that spot where it needed to.The onion rings... Not enough IMHO and a side order is 7.99.. that's a bit steep but there was enough for me to get a fix and do a tots to Onion ring swap with my friend. The rings are real whole onions which is a preference of mine but honestly... they tasted like fish. Yeah, I noticed after that on the menu they also serve fish and chips so that made sense afterwards. That's just another things I noticed. Don't get my wrong, those bad boys were gone, it was just something I noticed.The ambiance is typical of a sanitized sports bar. It reminded me a bit of a Chipotle.. concrete floors and all. Tons of TV's but no real personality that would make it stand out.I gave them an OK.. which isn't a bad thing.. because it was okay. I won't drive 25 miles from my side of town to come here again though.

Party of 8 not . the food is below average . chips and queso , really bad , the salsa was really bad . The burgers are ok , I've had better . The service was a joke not good at all. typical bar food . won't be back . when you spend that kinda money on food it better be great. also the bar itself is very dirty the bathrooms were disgusting, very dirty and no paper towels .this is a dive bar. same your money better sports bars than the flying pig.

Found this place on Yelp on our way to Red Rocks Amphitheater. They have a lot if beer to choose from on tap. I can never eat a whole hamburger, so we asked to split one and some fries. Our waitress was super awesome and divided it all up into two baskets with extra sauce we asked for! It's very spacious inside and there were TVs on with the Olympics. I suspect this place is happening for televised spirting events.

I know this is a burger place but Don't Sleep on the TACOS! They were so delicious that the slow service was almost completely forgotten. They seemed to be just a little under staffed last night. The place is a great stop on your way to a Red Rocks show. Great drink selection, not any real top shelf options but they've got plenty of selections and bottled beers. Did I mention the tacos? They are phenomenal! Large portions, easily shared. Perfectly paired with my Black Cherry white claw

The food is pretty decent here. The burgers are ok, I've had a good one and one and one that was overcooked. The buffalo chicken sandwich which fantastic, the fries and onion rings are great, just want you want in some fried food! The Nachos with chicken are really good as well, they could use some guacamole, though. Their old fashioned is great also, their well bourbon is Breckinridge, awesome! About $6 for a glass. It's a super chill place, they also have great WiFi. A nice little local place for a bite to eat and drink.

Yummy, good meats, good service! We will visit there again for sure! The patio is nice on the summer.

So, the umami burger is great. Love lunchtime $10 specials. Kind of a hole in the wall and very slow service so be ready to wait.

The place looked dirty when I walked in to get a to-go burger today for lunch. I ordered the "Wisco Burger" and tried to get a cup of soup for a side. I was told that's not a side. So I ordered it separately. For a total of $24.14 for a burger with no side, no drink, and a cup of soup. I got home to discover my burger was basically raw, and cold, with about 2-3 ounces of soup. I could have gotten a fast food burger that was fast better for fast cheaper. If you're charging $17 for a burger, it better be good. This wasn't. I definitely do not recommend.

Ashley our server was on point, helpful & attentive. The restaurant was clean. The food, was so delicious!!!!! Everything I had was flavorful, cooked perfectly & yummy!!!! If you want a good hamburger or sandwich this is the place to go. The owners are making this the best burger joint/tavern to hit after or before a show at Red Rocks!!!
